Very nice guesthouse to stay in Haputale. The Mist Holiday Bungalow is located 15 km from Lipton's Seat. Tea Plantation.Cozy rooms with bathrooms and common area. View for the balcony is amazing! The staff is very friendly and if you need to solve any issue, it is solved quickly. Very friendly boss, always ready to help.

The owner is a very sweet person, we shared nice conversations and he even packed us some breakfast to go! Was worth coming to Haputale:) The facilities are good, especially if you stay one night, very good value for money.

It would be nice to have some cover for the bedsheet (to be sure they are washed). Otherwise everything‘s perfect.

The owner is so friendly and welcoming. He will help you to plan things to see around Haputale for little money :) He organised us cheap and tasty Sri Lankan dinner and the breakfast was really good as well! The rooms have an amazing view and you only need to walk 5 min to get to the bus stop:) I would definitely stay there again 💜

The view was outstanding! The host was amazing! He went above and beyond to welcome us into his home, was really helpful with information into planning our trip and travel, he even ordered our evening meal allowing us to relax and spend time doing what we wanted. The room was a good size with a nice warm shower! Breakfast and tea was really good!

Amazing views & great location. Comfortable rooms, clean spaces and delicious food / tea. Most of all the hospitality was so warm. Piyal and Udeni are so kind and helpful, they treated me like family and were very happy to share time with conversation.

We had a lovely time in the Mist Bungalow! The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and generous, their hospitality is endless. We had delicious breakfast and dinner. This place is a good spot if you want to visit Lipton’s Seat and Diyalumma Waterfalls.

Great value for money. Friendly staff who made homemade meals for us and it feels like a homestay. Nice location.

Toiletries and toilet paper not provided when we arrived, we got it when asking though, but just be prepared that you might have to bring your own. Only a fleece blanket for sleeping cover - no air con or fan. However, for the price, we got what we expected and more (friendly staff)

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an really good time. The host treated us like family and helped us with all our trips. The room was spacious and we had an amazing view from our balcony(only when there were no clouds though, but being in the clouds is also pretty cool).

What a wonderfull people. A lovely couple taking care of us, cooking great amazing food and in a place easy to access (5min from Haputale bus station and 2min from the train station by the shortcut), a beautiful view on the tea plantations and great room with a shared palce to meet the other people around. Perfect )

My one and only accomodation in Sri Lanka with hot water. The owner realy polite and helpful. The beatiful site with view. Do not leave out Liptons hill which was my best experience in Sri Lanka.

This accomodation is very budget and not particulately clean. Once I asked for sheets, toilet paper and a towel they were provided though. Kept pushing hiring a scooter.

Great host who gave us a lot of tips! It felt like being in an old and comfortable guest house in the Alps. Would definitely come back :)

Very nice couple running the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have electricity for two nights because of technical problems but the owner made sure we could still have a hot shower and provided us with candles!

Very nice view of the surroundings from the terrace. Very nice and helpful staff. They organized transportation to the Horton Planes NP, prepared excellent dinner, ... Very pleasant stay here. Highly recommended!

Water pressure, as in most budget places in Sri Lanka, wasn’t the best.
