Spacious house in a great location with a huge pool and quality hot tub. As others have also noted the house needs renovations, better beds, A/C, and could also use better stocking of cooking/baking tools and equipment in the kitchen. But overall would recommend. Also, a bear literally took a bag of food from next to the grill right before we were about to cook dinner.

I am disappointed to inform you that the stay did not meet my expectations and I kindly request a refund for the amount I paid for my reservation. Firstly, I would like to express my appreciation for your willingness to list your property on VRBO, offering travelers like me the opportunity to experience unique and comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, my recent stay did not align with the description and amenities presented in the property listing. During my stay, I encountered the following issues: Misrepresented Property Description: The property listing provided a description that significantly differed from the actual state of the property. Cleanliness and condition of the property, water stains on the ceiling and down the wall, no good a/c in two of the rooms, shower in the game room, was afraid to sit on the furniture, roaches in the game room and in the dining room, not a lot of pool chairs as they were broken and put by the trash barn, hot tub had some soap or something in it, some of the outlets did not work, the entire house had old and dirty furniture, bathrooms were not upgraded and floors/baseboards/carpets were dirty, pot and pans were very old and very used. Other issues Lack of Essential Amenities; Poor Maintenance and Cleanliness; Communication difficulties

the house was found as expected. The pool and the hot tub were the highlight of the house and were found to be clean. The grounds are kept well and the whole place was clean. The kitchen was stocked with the supplies that we needed. Grill was not the best but we were able to get the burgers done, just took forever to get hot. Location was perfect, peaceful and very close to all the things we came to see in Helen GA. We would definitely stay again.

The property was a great size for our family . We enjoyed the pool and the pool table. It definitely needs updating and is pricy for the quality of the furnishings. The yard needs a lot of attention and maintenance.

The home is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The floors need redone, peices of the top layer of polish from the wood flooring is peeling off. I have read other reviews on this property talk about the need for updates but we enjoyed the old cabinets, and trim many other things left from the old to new of the property. We wanted a quiet relaxing vacation and thats exactly what we had. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Great location. Nice pool and hot tub. House is extremely dated. Not enough comfortable seating indoors for a large group to gather in one room. Many of the chairs- both indoors and outdoors were broken and not able to be used. The house was very dark with poor lighting. Many lamps were broken. With the amount of money guests pay year round- a few simple added inexpensive touches purchased at Walmart would be nice. Bathroom bath mats need to be replaced. Lamps and outdoor chairs need to be replaced. All in all it accommodated our group and everyone enjoyed.

It was a perfect location and private. All enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room to spread out.

Our stay was very enjoyable, we needed a place close to Helen attractions so this worked out well for us. The house is a little dated, but it is very inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

The home was close to town, but secluded enough to feel like you were miles away. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and play games, watch tv, sleep, etc. Great communication. We had to ask where the outdoor trash bins were located, as they were inside a building outside which we didn't want to look in without permission, and they were very quick to respond. The house is older and it was REALLY cold the weekend we were there and we never felt the house was overall warm, despite the mini-split units in the far side of the house and upstairs, so we were really happy to have the fireplace to add some extra warmth. Other than that, our stay was great. We would most definitely stay here again.

Poolside escape was a nice clean family fun home, although the heat didn’t work the first day we stayed, the hot tub didn’t work, we made the best of it!

Beautiful house and located so close to downtown Helen, everything worked great and just overall a great stay!

LOVED THE HOUSE FOR OUR BIG FAMILY POOL TABLE WAS A HIT!!! KIDS AND FAMILY HAD SO MUCH FUN..KITCHEN WAS GREAT FOR OUR MEALS HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. DEF WOULD BOOK AGAIN.

The knob on the gas logs was broken so we couldn’t use the fireplace. Only one TV in the house worked. Internet wouldn’t connect to the others. The house was extremely cold. We had to report that to maintenance. Heat only worked for a couple of hours after that.

Our overall stay was great. Honestly, and the management company was good too, but there are a few things on the property that need to be fixed. For example, the toaster oven doesn't work and an outlet in the kitchen also doesn't. It was EXTREMELY cold when we were there and cold air was blowing when it was 47 degrees out and 51 in the house. Overall. someone came by the next day to fix the AC/HEAT, but when we left the AC was no longer working either. The bed frame in the oval room also came apart too.. Of course we fixed it, but it was like it was put together and there was nothing screwing it together. The house is charming and located in a nice area, but it just needs a handy man there for a day just to go through things. Overal, would absolutely stay there again.

Very nice home for a large group and plenty of space to cook and hang out.

The spacious house held four families very comfortably. We spent most days in the beautiful pool. The town was close so we went for dining, arcade, waterpark, and shopping. Helen was cute. The weather was perfect, cool mornings and hot days. We grilled out most nights and we had ample space to spread out.

Our check in was delayed, the AC/mini splits was not properly working in the game room, and it was HOT the entire stay. Management did ask the owners for a backup unit or fans, and they declined because they were awaiting parts to "fix" the mini split, so we made the best of it. The hot tub had NOT been cleaned. It had what appeared to be chunks of vomit floating and some was stuck/dried on the sides, so we spent our first evening cleaning the hot tub and putting in fresh water. The pool liner is coming down in several places and the water was greenish with lots of bugs. We cleaned the bugs and had to add fresh water in there as well. There was a hornet's nest above the pool house, but the bees never bothered us, thank God! The furnishing are dated. The ceiling fans are wobbly and can't not be used due to them about to shake loose. I think we even seen a napkin used to "level" one of the ceiling fans upstairs. Management was contacted numerous times and we shared pictures, but they didn't really have a solution for the problems. We made the best of our situation, but I would probably never rent this home again.

The pros: -Perfect location! Very close to the downtown area, but still very peaceful and serene. -The pool & hot tub were wonderful! Ample seating around the pool. Bring your own beach towels & pool toys. -The rental agency was very responsive and helpful. Helpful notes: -Finding the house! There was nothing marking the house, not even a visible address posted. Directions should specify that you have to turn right off of Fussen Strasse onto an unmarked road. The house sits up on a hill on the left once you’ve made this turn. -The house is charming, but older. Much of its furnishings are also old/antique looking. The kitchen and bathrooms are quite dated, but functional. The appliances in the kitchen were new, I should note. - Cell reception was terrible. WiFi was available, but we had to contact with rental agency to request the login info. Even with the Wifi connected, we had very little service in most of the house. -The layout of the house is odd! There are plenty of beds, but depending on your group, the layout may make for some odd sleeping/bathroom arrangements. In particular, one the bedrooms (the “octagonal room”) is positioned right in the middle of a hallway. You have to walk through it to access to the large bedroom with the vaulted ceilings (the “pool house”). -Notes about the “pool house”: the space is great, but the bathroom is tiny considering the room sleeps 4+. There is no space to unpack. No closets, no real drawer space. The only King bed in the house is in this bedroom. There was no headboard or foot board, but just a frame pushed up against the wall. It had 2 standard size pillows and 2 standard size shams on it. The quilt on top appeared to be for a queen size bed.

Nice property,easy access to water park

We had a family gathering and truly enjoyed our time. My dad is handicap and having the 1 level living, including the game room was perfect. The house was big enough for all of our families and for the kids to run around.
