Our stay was very pleasant.place was very neat and clean .neibor hood was quite

The house was ok, the neighborhood sucks. The house was not cleaned good enough. We dealt with gnats and flies. The outter doors have no screens and there were gaps around the doors. The front porch was a true mess. I had to sweep and clean trash off the porch. Checked out the next day and got hotel room for the rest of my stay. Will never stay there again.

Everything at the rental property was exactly as the description and the picture suggested. The house was in an urban area, however there were no issues with the neighbors with the street or with the people in the neighborhood. I rented this place for my mother and aunts and uncles because it was right around the corner from my home and it was an easy trip to my house for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was clean. The house was fully stocked. The communication with the property management was stellar. I would definitely recommend this rental for anyone coming into the Harrisburg area or Hershey equivalent.

Good stay
It was a great house in a great place. The only complaints we have are there was broken glass in the driveway, and they were renovating the other side of the building so we would get woken up in the morning to the sounds of construction. Other then that it was a great stay.

Nice Place to Stay
It was nice place to stayed. The only thing was in the backyard, the grass wasn't mowed, so we didn't enjoyed the backyard as much. Other then that, we would consider staying at this place in the future.

Review
the House was misrepresented in the posting. The street was quiet but not in a good area whatsoever. The landlord was accommodating and gave my family a gift certificate for Hershey park. The house was cute . As the week went on we noticed areas of the house that were not very clean. The windows were dirty, stains under the refrigerator, no cleaning supplies under the sink, and spider webs under the doors. Knowing the landlords live out of town , we took pictures and sent them. We would not return.

Not a safe neighborhood
The last night of our visit, our car was vandalized. The driver's side mirror was damaged. There is no driveway or garage, so the only option is street parking. The other half of the duplex had garbage on the front porch and there were a couple of memorials to shooting victims.
Inside of the house is well maintained minus a few nails sticking up from the hardwood floors.

The side of the duplex is not bad. The other duplex had trash all over. Bad first impression.
The living room furniture was stained and looked dirty. Grandkids would not sit on it. The parking was terrible. One bed had cheap sheets and they kept popping off during the night. Very aggravating. My daughter wanted to leave and get a hotel because of the neighborhood.

Cute, but did not feel safe
The owners were pleasant and helpful with questions. One of the air conditioners broke in the bedrooms while visiting so it made for an uncomfortable night sleeping. The place has nice colors and concept, however the couch is stained and carpet was not vacuumed. We had a problem with the tub draining. When walking up the front steps it smells like rotten garbage. The neighbors porch is full of trash. Also, he smokes on the porch. The description states the water is within walking distance, however we did not feel safe enough in the neighborhood to do so. We should have researched the neighborhood prior to booking. We only left the house to go to and from our van. Off street parking was not an issue. The neighbor’s dog barks constantly. The beds were comfortable and clean. The floors are squeaky: it’s an old home which isn’t a bad thing, but it makes it difficult to quietly walk around while others are sleeping.

Duplex is located in dangerous neighborhood.
We arrived on warm Saturday evening. People were milling in the narrow street,smoking marijuana, yelling at our car. There were flowers on the street where someone was shot to death last May.There were more flowers on the street two houses down in front of the abandoned school. That night we heard two gun shots and the sirens that followed.The neighbors in the adjoining duplex were loud and there dog barked until 2 in the morning.People rode by the house with their car radios very loud until early morning.We stayed 5 nights and no one bothered our car on the street. The house was clean, well furnished, but there is no loft as was advertised We did not feel safe in this house,and will not recommend because of it's location.

The street parking was easier than expected. There was only one bathroom, which we were aware, but it had a strangely placed radiator that blocked the vanity and proper sitting on the toilet. The only disappointment was the kitchen. It didn't have large cooking pans, so cooking for a larger group was difficult. As well, there is no dishwasher, so you had to hand wash everything, but there was no strainer or adequate towels to dry or let things dry. Also, the dishes need to be washed before they were used. I didn't find them to be very clean. All in All, it was a nice place in a nice location that served our needs and our budget.

Perfect Location in Harrisburg

Nice place and very clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Like 25 minutes from Hersheypark.
We were worry about parking in the street at night, but we always find parking in front of the house.

Clean and comfy
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was comfortable and centrally located to the city of Harrisburg. With travel in surrounding cities, being centrally located (and close to the aiport) was important for us.
