Great hotel with great location. Love, love, love the sauna on the rooftop overlooking the city and the work out areas.

Pros: The property has some really good characters as an older building, very spacious, we stayed on the 4th floor and the rooms on this part were very good and spacious. The Gym and Sauna facilities are very good for a hotel Gym and the views of Graz City from the rooftop Sauna are pretty awesome. The foyer area is large and spacious and a pretty good place to relax if you didn't fancy being in the room or going out The bar is good with good service though a bit pricey but I would expect nothing less from a hotel bar. Cons: Their are no basic facilities in the room, the water and everything else is chargeable. So I did not go anywhere near the mini fridge. But for a hotel of this standard, water in the room and tea/coffee facilities are just a basic standard. I don't think the hotel has much control over this, but the construction work around the hotel means that people bring in very dirty shoe's into the foyer too and the red welcome carpet at the entrance has seen better days but I am sure they will replace this when all the construction is over. I didn't try the hotel restaurant but I did go to the restaurant next door, on the second Street with same name as the hotel and also sells wine...this place had amazing food so worth trying it So besides these minor gripes, I could not fault my stay and I would happily stay there again when I Graz, maybe I might get a discount next time.🙂

Excellent location!

The room was near the elevator with a view of an alley. There's a lot of construction and hard to get around. The Austrian restaurant near the hotel was outstanding!

Nice staff, nice structure, convenient location. Good gym and sauna with view. Minor remark: I would only have appreciated having tea or coffee in my room.

Wonderful location. Very clean. Beautiful breakfast. The modern room did not exactly match the old hotel, but it was all very nice.

Enjoyed hotel, but was booked into a room in newly expanded area. Lighting was a major problem. Only lights were tiny, pin lights by bed and on a desk. It was a cave. Staff responded helpfully with several floor lamps, but for guest comfort, this will require remediation. Staff were exceptional, however. They help us resolve a list key issue, in addition to the lighting problems. With great staff, problems can be overcome.

Can be reached by tram easily from the main station, as well as from the City Center!

Graz is much different from Vienna. This is an excellent hotel for Graz, but their sister hotel in Vienna is nicer in many respects.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is also well placed for a short walk into Graz. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but a little basic. Overall though, the Hotel Weitzer in Graz, is good hotel, and one I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Location location location: this hotel is right at the center of Graz and within a few steps from a large variety of awesome restaurants, shopping venues but also cultural sites, museums and more. We also enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Parking is close by with special rates for hotel guests.

This hotel is wonderfully situated on the river, directly across from the Altstadt. Our balcony room had an amazing view of the city, and the breakfast buffet was simply incredible.

The reception desk and its crew gave been outstanding with service and attention.

The property was excellent but no car parking on site is a negative. The public car park next door is the only option but at 31.50 euro from 9-24 hours it is a bit rich and im sure the hotel can negotiate a better rate for guests

Fantastic location. Great restaurants attached to building. Many nice staff. Economy rooms are not accessibility friendly, a bit more basic than other 4 star hotels in terms of quality.

Excellent location, within minutes of the city center. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the view of the river and clock tower was lovely! Staff was friendly! We’ll definitely stay at this property again!

Love this location, right on the Mur river. We had a room on the 5th floor with a patio overlooking the Mur. Beautiful! Great location, 5 mins the city center, main shopping streets and best restaurant and wine bar in Graz, Der Steirer, excellent service and local cuisine. The hotel was clean, service impeccable and definitely the best breakfast in Graz! Recomnend to include with your room. There is a 5 min walk to the Murinsel where you can have cafe and strudel on the Mur. Love this hotel, stayed 4 times so far. You will not be disappointed.
