We have been staying at Westin Bayshore for a week every August or September since 2021. It’s our favourite vacation.
The staff is amazing and helpful. The location is superb. They have the best outdoor pool in BC. And the dining options around are wonderful.
Our annual Westin Bayshore week of vacation has become my partner’s and my favourite way to relax.

Loved everything! We used the loaner bikes, both pools, dining room, bar, and spa for a great post-Ironman massage. My wife and I had a fantastic time. The location on the bay makes things walkable and bikable too… we rode Stanley Park twice. Five stars !

This is my third visit to this lovel hotel. I was on a 'staycation' and it fit all my needs. A lot for everyone here: sunbathing, beautiful indoor and out door pools, activities for the kids including a cooking class, bike rentals and so much more. Welcoming and obldging staff . @ restaurants onsite and 2 on the water steps away with gorgeous views.

The hotel staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us! Room was great and the pool was the warmest pool we have ever had, just a lovely haven in a nice city!

Our for an upgrade but palaces above lounge patio with pumping base which went on until I asked for how long. Apparently the music goes to midnight, would not recommend an upgrade or asking above a patio/lounge.

Great hotel. Fire the gardener, hire a good landscape architect and update the gardens, especially on the west side of the property. There are dead trees and shrubs. I think people walking or riding by must think the hotel doesn't care.

Hotel was very nice, could use some updates on the outside. Bathroom lighting is not bright enough and our power went out in our room when we plugged in the iron. All in all a great location to walk ago Stanley Park and the marina!

This hotel has the best location. It's located on the waterfront next to Stanley Park. Cardero's & Lift are footsteps away & are both very good restaurants. The food/service at the H2 Lounge in the hotel was also outstanding. The rooms were clean & the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone & I'm hoping to return myself.

Great hotel in a fantastic location, right on the harbour and a 5 minute walk along the water into Stanley Park. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance.
Facilities are excellent, with both indoor and outdoor pools (very popular with our daughter). There are bee hives just outside which provide the honey for the breakfast buffet.
There’s also free bike hire, which we didn’t do as we needed a kids bike, but seemed popular.
Staff were friendly and courteous. Room was a good size and comfortable. Would stay again if in Vancouver.

This was a great location- walking distance or biking into Stanley Park! Gorgeous water views, restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful room and lovely breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!

First time visit to Vancouver and we picked this hotel for a holiday feel - with the pool, near the waterfront and by Stanley park.
The pros..
Hotel was excellent - staff very helpful. We loved the room view and had comfy beds (had king bed with rollaway bed for our daughter). Pool area was lovely with clean towels. Free bike hire was a nice touch
The cons…
We arrived Sunday and had to wait for our room to be ready (though we did have a drinks voucher whilst we waited, we didn’t know it would be two hours)
The h2 kitchen and bar had lovely food, but is closed Monday/ Tuesday which means limited options for dining (only the h2 bar). Once we checked out, we were no longer able to access the pool, which was a blow for our daughter.
The cons are why it’s a 9/10 rather than 10/10 but we would still be very happy to return - just avoiding mon/tues!

Booked a marina city view....got a parking lot. They felt this was a "marina view" because if you squinted above the tree line way to the left you may be able to see a bit of water. A manager was required to get the room we wanted and what matched the pictures of the room. Beautiful hotel but really disappointed with the check in.
