My story was a nightmare. Rude and disrespectful night manager. They charged 39 dollars a night parking, with no where to park.

Honestly, the stay was OK. Beds were comfortable. They definitely need to upgrade their bathroom the toilet the showers definitely need a remodel. The room was humid and there was two moths coming out of the bathroom not sure if it was due to the humidity. Also, I did not appreciate the unclear fees that the hotel charged such as the parking resort fees, state, and county tax.

It was awesome and there are free activities for the family while staying there, pool tables, miniature golf, large checkerboard game, foosball, swimming pool and hot tub. They were very welcoming and even give my children warm cookies. It’s beautifully decorated for the holidays and the kids really enjoyed staying there!

Excellent customer service + a very delicious chocolate chip cookie!

Perfect location , good breakfast, in general was ok .

The service at checkin was amazing, however the hotel room was not clean and fresh. The towels and bed linens were dingy. The facility needs a real good scrub down or upgrade.

The initial customer service was good. I expressed concern about the cleanliness of our room and was promised a VIP cleaning the next day. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. Instead, we only received additional towels, which doesn’t align with the idea of a VIP cleaning.

Front desk staff gave me Wrong information about the location of the event I'm coming to assist and got late because she send me to the wrong building.
The worst part was the air conditioning making a super hard noise every 2-3 minutes and making me a headache all night, every night.

The room was not what was expected. This pictures online are false advertising. We were place in the woods! Very unacceptable. I planned a nice getaway for me and my man and we were very uncomfortable.

Everyone was so friendly. There was a lot to do. The pool could have been warm but all good.

In 35 years if business travel, within the hotel and entertainment business sector, i have NEVER had a more disrespectful front desk clerk at checkin. The first words out of my mouth were in regards to the parking situation for a larger vehicle. The front desk clerk said “Hand me your drivers license and credit card” then he didn’t say a single word, after several minutes of typing on his keyboard. Then he handed me my drivers license, credit card, and room key back saying “your room is over here, park in front.” Not a single word about the amenities, the restaurants, check out, other hotel services, and etc.
NOTHING.
When i confronted him about the parking situation that i stated within my initial conversation, he says “Yes, park in front of your room.”
BUT ONCE AGAIN, NOTHING ABOUT THE AMENITIES OF THE $200 A NIGHT HOTEL THAT I AM CHECKING INTO.

Property is pretty old and tired, definitely needs rehab. Shower curtain didn’t fit the tub, resulting in water in floor. Mildew / dirty grout in tub area.

I was initially looking forward to this stay, but it unfortunately fell short in several ways. Despite selecting a specific room on the app, I was assigned a second-floor villa without elevator access, making it challenging to manage my luggage. The hallways had a strong smell of marijuana, which was extremely off-putting and not what I expected. On top of that, construction work began early each morning, with drilling noise that made it impossible to relax. Additionally, unlike other locations, there were no signature cookies upon check-in, which was disappointing.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful, enjoyable stay.

Clean. Great customer service. Loved the lady at the front desk.

Only issue was for three of the four nights I was there the elevators where broken and the whole hall smelled like trash. I’ve stayed here before and know that’s not the norm. It’s a nice hotel

Phone didn't work. Had to park quarter mile from my building. Toilet was not clean. To many to go on.

Preston the front desk manager was great getting us checked in and informing us of everything. When we when to go to the room there was no near by parking, cars literally on the grass and medians, so we went back to Preston at the front desk. He was able to relocate us but not at the cost of losing our king bed room, the only one available was in the overcrowded building with no parking. The walkway to seaworld is a good advance and way to avoid paying parking but there needs to be more signage and lights. It was very hard to navigate even during daylight. The room did its job for the night. All together was a good stay.

Not bad. Quality seems to be dropping a little bit. We stay here every year for seaworld. Easy access to seaworld. Putt putt area was pretty rough. Areas of hotel look a little beat down. Overall great for the price. Nice resort to stay a few days.

Booked through Hotels.com not Doubletree directly, couldn’t confirm our room by phoning the hotel and were told to show up in person with our Hotels.com confirmation. Upon arrival it took about 30 mins to check in. We were given a double queen room in the tower despite having booked and received confirmation of a king room. Since we were there for 10 nights it would have been better to have a sofa than a spare bed.
The room was clean but 2 pillow cases were worn and had holes in them.
We mostly kept our do not disturb sign on our door. On the 2 occasions the room was serviced the towels were changed but not the bedding and we did not receive coffee or bottled water. We asked staff for the same when we saw them in the halls as this is included in the $28.00/day resort fees.
Upon entering the tower, there is a very strong, very unpleasant smell which staff tries to cover with scent. This is partially effective.
The food and drinks were good, serving staff very good with an automatic 15% gratuity added. 18% for 5 or more people. At check out we were asked if we wanted the bill emailed. We asked to have the bill printed out. On the bill was a $30.00/day charge for parking, despite us stating upon check in that we had no car. The staff said “sorry, this happens sometimes automatically.” Unacceptable to charge $300.00 for parking and no registered vehicle. Automatically? They removed the parking fees, reprinted the bill and said sorry. Check your bill!

Customer service was great. Pictures on website were different for what i was given. Miss leading. Room was smelling like mold. Bed was really uncomfortable. I think 140.00 was really high for a run down hotel. Nothing grand about this place. Also 34.00 up charge for breakfast was ridiculous. 140.00 room an have to pay extra for breakfast. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

The room wasn’t bad, but not as nice as pictured. Breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise and worth the price. Terrific omelet! Room was just okay.

We were fleeing Hurricane Milton when this room became available. Things started rough as they were out of their signature giant cookies (we never did get our cookies over a 3-day stay). No elevators and we were on the second floor. While the room did provide comfortable shelter, and the lounge chair was very comfortable, the floor was the dirtiest hotel floor I'd ever walked on. My black socks had a visible coating that I'd wipe off regularly, and my clean feet turned black quickly after a few minutes on the room carpet. The food served in the main dining area was excellent and a great value for the $ spent. While we were told we'd be getting most of our security deposit ($75 a night for 'incidentals'), it was never made clear what those incidentals were. Our $500 three-night stay became almost $725, much to our shock, once we learned 2 days after check-out that parking and resort fees weren't included in the room price (while we were led to believe that they were, as no explanation was given and a hurricane was coming). The whole experience, during a time when people should've been helpful to others, just left us angry and with $225 less than we'd planned in our account. We didn't have the $ for the room, let alone the BS additional charges, and now we'll be paying interest on $750, instead of $500. Had I known this, I never would've booked here.

I stayed at this hotel during Hurricane Milton and would come again under normal circumstances. I was satisfied with everything about my stay. I thought that some of the extras like parking were quite expensive.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to SeaWorld. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Also quiet!
Breakfast was delicious. Grounds are nice. Definitely going to stay here again for next year's trip to Howl-o-Scream!

Great and comfortable stay! Staff is friendly and hotel has a lot of places to spend time. This is close to everything in the city.

The pool bartenders were great but the Saturday night bartender was greater 😊

We chose this hotel because it’s pet-friendly, and we were traveling with our newly adopted dog. I saw reviews mentioning tiled floors in the pet-friendly rooms, which seemed great. Sadly, the stay was awful.
We arrived in town for a concert and checked in later in the evening. While the staff gave us a ground-floor room, parking was a nightmare. It looked like everyone staying at the hotel was on our side, and a high school homecoming dance was happening, making it impossible to leave when we needed to.
Once we got to the room, it was filthy. Stains were all over the floor, blood on the curtains, and dirt everywhere. It hadn’t been cleaned, at least not well. We didn’t have time to ask for another room because we had to get ready quickly - we didn’t even feel comfortable taking off our socks or showering. After the concert, I wanted to leave and drive the 3.5 hours home, but it was already midnight.
I understand it’s a “pet-friendly” hotel, but that doesn’t mean it should be so dirty. Our dog is well-behaved, but it seems like no one else’s is. I asked for a refund, but the hotel refused, so I’ve disputed the charge with my bank.
I would never stay here again and don’t recommend it if you care about cleanliness.

Was told that there are additional fees upon check in, that are not provided in any of the booking details. The AC in our room kept automatically switching to the heat setting, so that was fun.

Super nice and clean
1.5 / 5.0
I like the property for the most part, but was mislead by the booking, thinking that we would be in the tower- hotel style, versus motel style (entering from outside). The room was muggy/stuffy and we were unaware that we had to pay for parking, especially seeing that we ended up in a villa, like an apartment complex where parking is clearly a part of the outlayed plan.
1.5 / 5.0
Shuttle only runs twice per day to the parks. No ice machine anywhere in the Villas area worked and desk staff told me they “didn’t handle” those machines. Otherwise, rooms were clean and hotel was convenient to the parks.
3.0 / 5.0
The hotel is in a good location and the front desk clerks were helpful ( but all had heavy accents and hard to understand at times). But a lot of fees that are not explained well.
