It is in summer break. lots of stores and restaurants were closed for the summer. So not that convenient.

Very convenient location for parents visiting with students

Check in was great the gentleman was very helpful and friendly, the 2 young ladies in the evening were rude and very unprofessional. When questions were asked they seemed so bothered and responded with attitude. We had an issue with inserting parking ticket on machine had to get another ticket, when I went to service desk my husband was treated by attitude and as soon as he walked away the unnecessary comments under their breathe happened. My daughter had an event at school that lasted longer than expected and we asked for courtesy late check out but immediately was told NO and hotel had plenry of empty rooms we checked online, I’m sad to think my daughter is going to school at UofH and I would have to be welcomed by that kind of behavior and service all the time.

On campus

Very nice hotel room. Great furniture, bed, decor.

My niece graduated from U of H and we chose this hotel as it was on campus and convenient for commuting to commencement. The hotel staff was nice and they were attentive to all of our needs. There’s the campus coffee shop right across from the hotel and a restaurant inside. Room was clean and modern. Shout out to Vincent who texted to check on every day of our stay. I definitely recommend.

Hilton University of Houston is outstanding in every way. The fact that Hotel Management students are in front (with their name tags showing their future graduation dates) makes it very special. Checkin, rooms, restaurant service, and food quality were the best!

It’s within the university area and it’s very convenient for us that our son attends the university

The stay was wonderful. The wool was spacious and clean. My only complaint is that we couldn’t get the TV to change inputs for HDMI but otherwise, it was a fantastic stay

I had business on campus, and the Hilton was a nice choice. One feature of the hotel was the gym. It was very nice and view new. The downside was the food options. The hotel restaurant was OK, and that was the only place close.

Great day and the staff was amazing. The only thing is there’s no microwave in the rooms. That’s kind of inconvenient.

Underwhelming property. Room doors slam loudly. Parking costs $25 which is expensive for a remote location.

Everything was great! Except being charged in advance for incidentals.

The fact that I can stay at my alma mater and see a basketball game between Oak State and UH. I was disappointed with the morning manager and his poor attitude and unresponsiveness to my needs as a full paying customer. I never had a desk manager question my need for a cup of coffee at 5:30 am in the morning. I simply asked the question wondering why there was no place to get a cup of coffee anywhere. I was left standing there like something was wrong with me and why was I awake. Oh well, the hotel was nice but I would have had better service at a low end hotel somewhere else. I was only asking for a cup of coffee.
