The hotel was decent overall. The room was small and a bit dark, but it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread was nice. The location was fantastic, and we received a 10% coupon for dinner at the nearby da Raffaele restaurant, which was outstanding. We were pleased with our stay.

Would not stay here again. The doors slam to at night this is the noisiest hotel on the planet. The electrics cut out in our room 3 times….electrics are so poor you can’t even plug the provided kettle in. And definitely do not dare to brew the kettle at the same time as drying your hair! Furthermore, we asked the hotel to arrange us a taxi to the train station, they told us 45 euros and that we could pay card. We got the water taxi and were charged 80 euros. An absolute disgrace.

Conveniently located hotel in the heart of Venice. It is located on the orange line Aliguna stop so you can hop right on public transportation from the airport. It’s about 10 minutes walk to all of the attractions give or take with foot traffic. Very clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful as we needed to contact a private taxi for our return trip to the airport. One thing to note is the elevator can only provide service to floors one and two so you are staying on a higher floor, there is some walking up and down steps involved. This didn’t bother us as it’s an older building(it’s Venice!). They also have a breakfast option that we didn’t take advantage of but our traveling companions said it was good.

We loved our stay at Ala Venezia. Convenient to everything and staff is genuinely nice. We did not have any issues and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Overall it was okay. Room was quite small (economy double), and especially the shower. Staff were not helpful at all with assistance getting to the hotel when I called. I ended up paying 110 euros ( 40 airport taxi and 70 taxi boat). Staff did help with return to airport which was a 16 euro boat ride. Wish I had known that upon initial arrival.

adequate hotel in a great location. Everything in Venice is expensive so we weren’t expecting much but the level of noise that we experienced overnight and during the early morning hours was unbearable. Constant banging and knocking that even earplugs could not drown out beginning at 7 AM. Management did not care. Would not stay here again.

It did not have a balcony, but it had a beautiful window that opened to a small canal from which you could hear and see the gondola rides that had serenades. Breakfast is splendid and fresh.

Beautiful hotel, central to all the tourist attractions. Wonderful and friendly staff, close to the alilaguna water transport and Gandola rides (3-5 mins walk).

I can’t believe this hotel is only 3 Star. Its decor is authentically reflective of the building, representing the history attached to the building. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The breakfast choice is fresh with a good selection. Its only 40 yds from the Taxi drop off point from the Airport on the Orange route.

Walkable distance to a lot of things. Great location. A/C was always on blast as soon as you walk into the lobby. Very nice for travelers who aren't used to the hot and humid italian summers.

Great location close to a grand canal ferry route, easy walk to San Marco and other attractions. Deluxe room very spacious, lovely view over local square. Disappointed that rooftop is closed for maintenance, but very good lobby wiating area with tables and drinks for guests.

The hotel was in a fabulous location with easy access to the water buses and taxis to the airport. The staff at the reception were very friendly and eager to help with a smile and attentive nature. The rooms and very welcome air conditioning were great.
However the bar staff were rude, inflexible and not customer focused at all. The bar was advertised to close at midnight. On both nights of our stay we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm and were refused drinks in quite a rude and abrupt manner. On the second night we wanted to sit outside for 19 mins before bed, but at 11.30 the bar staff started stacking chairs. They effectively tipped my wife off of her chair so they could stack it and go home. When challenged on ‘Why?’ There was no apology, just a dismissive wave!! Extremely rude and letting down such a lovely hotel.

Just two minutes from the water taxi dock and withing walking distance to saint Mark square and other amenities..Room was very clean, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Reception staff polite and helpful.I do recommend this hitel.

I loved staying here with my wife!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is truly perfect if you’re touring the st marks square and Rialto bridge and Accademia area. Getting to/from this hotel is very simple using the water bus from the airport.
I loved the juice and tap water provided in the lobby! It really helped with staying hydrated throughout the day, that was really appreciated.
I would recommend to anyone travelling to and touring the southern portion of Venice!

Unprofessional staff. At check in the receptionist was cold, unwelcoming, and did not even provide information about the facilities at the hotel. When I asked about whether this behavior was part of the culture at the hotel, he responded “it is the summer heat!”. Avoid

The most accommodating staff I have ever encountered and genuinely the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. We arrive at 10am and asked if they could hold our luggage until check in. They informed us that if we liked, we could go ahead and check in as our room was ready. This was incredible as we were so jet lagged. They really went above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else when we come back to Venice!

Lovely hotel that can be reached by a stop on line A using the water taxis which is only 100 meters away. Was surprised by the mirror hanging over the bed. Would definitely recommend
