The staffcwee amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged a disco/karaoke on the Saturday night so we could all enjoy the evening at the hotel. We paid the dj, but no cost for room hire. The themed rooms of celebrites was amazing. We had over 40npeople staying on the Saturday. Everything thought itcwas fantastic.

The hotel is extremely run down and dirty. The breakfast had mouldy bread out for making toast. The room we was in double room 251 had a damaged mattress and the hotel had put towels underneath to prop up the sunken hole in middle which did not work. I would never stay here again.

Noise from adjacent room, maybe due to thin walls but mainly by the disrespectful people staying next door

Stayed here for 3 days. The staff were amazing they do everything nothing is too much trouble for them. Bar open 24/7. There is parking which is great. Basic English breakfast. Rooms were ok shower was hot straight away. No complaints

Hotel was great. Different themed rooms which added to the experience. Polite staff, clean. Shirt walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

The hotel needs a complete refurbishing. The bathroom was good but the furniture and carpet are so old and tired. We had the windows open because it was so hot but then you get the noise. £20 a day for a dog was way too much with nothing on offer for them, no grass area.

Needs a few things touching up like some wall paper peeling away from walls and we had no plugs by the bed which is the only real let down and rooms are big enough to have small fridges in but then guests should be supplied two keys so can keep one in the electric just for fridge and fans for hot rooms as it was very warm in room until fan finally cooled it down but overall a very nice place clean and comfortable would Definitely stay here again

Absolutely fantastic third time I stayed here , this time was exceptional stayed in the James Bond suite absolutely love it as a fan of Daniel Craig comfortable very clean huge room parking right outside great position to get to beach . Will definitely be going back staff lovely and friendly and so helpful

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, just a little dated. Very odd that there was only coffee in the room - I hate it and would have loved to have had some tea!

I had a very comfortable stay for just one night. A convenient location - I walked 10-15 minutes left out of the hotel and fornd Prezzo and Wagamama, which suited my catering needs perfectly. I enjoyed the celebrity theme including the fact that Tony Hancock had resided at the hotel.

Staff were fantastic when checking in room smelt mussty no blind or net curtains at the window overall the room furniture dated and tired

Great location. Warm reception. Interior could do with some update. Residual smoke challenged the walk to our room. Needs a non-smoking wing or improved ventilation of interior.

Looks dated on places, especially the reception area but coukdnt fault our room at all . We stayed in the "Johnny Cash" room which boasts 4 opening windows for plenty of fresh air especially when its hot, also a stand up fan if needed. The bed was a bit too firm but still comfortable Buffet style breakfast was on offer from 7.30am and was a variety of cooked,cereals, juices and hot beverages, not bad for £10 Situated high on East cliff, this hotel isnt suitable for the unfit ( like us!!) But there is an excellent bus service around the area which i wish we had checked out earlier! All in all we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Celebrity and would recommend it to our friends if they ventured down Bournemouth in the future x

Photos of the room are completely different than what is shown on the websites. The hotel is a very old property. Being listed as standard double room, there was no sitting arrangement. Room was clean but very outdated. Creaking floors throughout. Uncomfortable old mattress and pillows. Couldn't sleep at all as no aircon in the hotel but a small table fan provided in 28 degree heat which served no purpose. We were asked to leave the windows open for comfort but with the bar open 24 hours, guests stayed seated outside until very late hours making it very difficult to fall asleep. We understand people are on vacation but everyone deserves a good nights sleep when you have paid enough for it. It was very loud and noisy until very late. Hotel staff should make some effort to tell guests using outside bar space to be considerate about other people staying in the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Ample parking available. Location of the hotel was great.

Friendly staff especially Rita, receptionist was amazing. I had an incident in the bathroom, she went above and beyond to help my daughter get me out of the bath due to my mobility issues and nothing was too much trouble for her. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the bar area the machine at the bar was out of order for a week. Tea/coffee in your room only. The rooms are clean spacious but a bit dated. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days if required. Cleaning staff are accommodating lead housekeeper is very friendly. Lovely lounge area to relax in without children for quiet time. No restaurant for evening meals. No entertainment in the hotel. The celebrity theme of the hotel is great throughout. There is a lift available. £10 parking fee per day unless you hold a disabled blue badge permit then free parking throughout your stay inform the hotel beforehand and they will reserve you a disabled parking bay outside the front entrance of the hotel. There are only 2 disabled parking bays available first come first serviced. Overall excellent value for money. 10 minute walk to the seafront. 15 minute walk to Bournemouth Pavilion theatre and main shopping centre/shops in easy reach of everything. Downside it is very hilly for the more infirmed person for walking and there is not always a drop down kerb on both sides of the pavements/roads to get disabled persons across the roads on a mobility scooter. There are a lot of potholes and uneven surfaces. Beautiful gardens in centre.

Surprisingly decent quality hotel, all the furniture in good conditon and new looking bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. I think this hotel would be a lot nice if they ditched the theme as its not done very well with just posters everwhere and laminated door signs. There were some interesting memorabilia tucked away in parts of hotel but I feel the common areas need a makeover.

Stayed overnight with grandson, no evening restaurant, still enjoyable 😊

Rooms were basic but Very clean well done to the cleaners reception staff didn’t get her name was very friendly we had a good chat as i work in a hotel myself was quite impressed how clean this hotel was from outside could do with bit of improvement overall nice stay
