Everyone carries a smiling face. They pamper us into a state of total relaxation. The beach is wonderful. We can order drinks anywhere at pool and beach. A letter from the manager is very warm to us. An almond cake and cookies are amazing. Efforts of pest control are noticeable.

The personnel is amazing and make your stay really comfortable! Best beach and hotel in the area!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous and harmonious hotel! Every aspect was perfect - lovely room, beautiful garden, stunning location right by the hotel’s own private beach. We lounged there every single day - and with white sand, clean beach and lovely calm water - why not? The breakfast was amazing and so was all off the staff we meet - everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. If you want a place to stay where everything is well taken care of and you can just sit back and relax - this is it! After visiting places like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, this was the perfect place for ultimate relaxation. Thank you to all the staff who made our honeymoon such a memorable experience! We already miss it and will definitely come back! 10/10.

great hotel on a nice beach where staff are always trying to make your stay enjoyable. Beds could be a little more comfortable. Staff were absolutely fantastic and we look forward to visiting again.

La Veranda was the best property I stayed at while my three weeks in Vietnam. I am definitely recommending this to friends and if I return to the island, I will stay here the staff was above and beyond friendly. Sam, from guest relations made me feel so welcome from the onset of my visit. Luan also made me feel very welcome in explaining the property amenities. I pre-planned a massage and that was an amazing way to start my visit. I didn’t feel like I needed to leave the resort as the beach and pool were so lovely and quiet. The beach waters were safe and I knew the beach staff was looking out. The breakfast buffet was very good, I enjoyed the maid to order eggs and pancakes. The pastry section was very good being a solo traveler. I appreciated how extensive the in room dining menu was and how excellent the food tasted. I didn’t want to leave this property. Everything exceeded my expectations.

This is easily the best hotel on phu quoc. It is beautifully styled in a French colonial look, it has its own spacious beach area and pool. A great gym and free daily yoga with a wonderful Vietnamese teacher The staff are fantastic, the food is great. If you want to switch off and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place for you. Please do tip the staff the average wage is $30 a week they work 6 days!! A couple of dollars goes a long way!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and didn’t want to leave. I cannot come up with a single thing with this hotel that is not perfect. It might be seen as highly priced but it is not considering the standard and everything that is included in the price. The transport to the airport is included, sun beds at the beach are included. There are afternoon teas with a wonderful assortment of drinks and snacks a couple of times per week. There are also wine evenings serving wonderful wines a couple of times per week, everything included in the price. Everyone in the staff must have been hand picked as they are so friendly and in a very genuine way. The gardeners will greet you in the morning, the cleaners, the reception, staff in restaurant are all so nice and helpful! The driver picking you up at the airport with a fresh towel and a bottle of water- also so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are incredibly good. So much tropical fresh fruits and everything else anyone could ever wish for. All served with a wonderful view of the ocean and green garden of the hotel. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. When you walk to the beach the staff will quickly fix the sunbed for you with a mattress, towel and umbrella. The gym was well equipped and clean and open from early morning to late evenings. . There is a yoga class every morning. My wife had the best massage in her life at the hotel. If you are going to Phu Quoc then stay at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beach front and very clean. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Phu Quoc!

Welcome drink is of a high standard Villa's are spacious, and anti mosquito measures available (as you literally live in a jungle) Swimming pool is cozy - well maintained Service is splendid Area's of improvement: Nothing special or lacking, but unfortunately the beach is currently destroyed due to tidal impact while this will be fixed due time. Not under La Veranda control is the next door local resort playing loud music and the construction on the other side. Breakfast is "a la carte" and OK, albeit it lacks a bit of refinement vs the Restaurant experience As a total experience, this is a 4 on 5 star great score in troublesome times. Keep it up !

We had a great stay at La Veranda over the Christmas holiday. The facility is top notch and the beach is beautiful. Most of all the staff, everyone from management, to reception, to F&B, to housekeeping, to grounds and security was friendly, proficient, and genuinely focused on making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Nice and quiet resort with a lot of trees and plants. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Very short walk to the beach and swim there where the water is clean and calm. My room is a bit small with a queen size bed otherwise everything is perfect. The bed is comfortable and the balcony size is good. Just a short ride to the night market, my favorite sea food restaurant Xin Chao and the airport. You can walk easily to the King Kong supermarket to buy snacks and drinks. Buffet breakfast is good with many varieties and sitting area is very comfortable . The TV channels are ok but not the best and I wish the TV screen can be larger. I was there on Christmas eve and I received a little gift from the hotel. That is very nice.

Despite poring rain, we had a great get-away weekend as the overall service and quality of dishes was outstanding. The rooms are obviously a highlight and the colonial setup a gem. We had however some issues with a faulty old airco but the resort provided the possibility for an upgrade to a villa. Overall, we can highly recommend this place as being very convenient and of high standards

The resort is beautifully decorated, best location to the sea dan the staffs are so helpful. They go to extra length to accomodate guess satisfaction. They upgraded our room free charge. Best services, complimentary airport transport both ways, complimentary transport to Sao Beach and amazing Welcome Drink. I definitely would like to come back again. One more thing, they have the best Gourment restaurant for dinner.

Truly a spectacular stay — the hotel staff were all wonderful, the beach + pool are lovely, the food is great, the rooms are airy and light and very comfortable, the spa was lovely, I could go on and on. Highly recommend, couldn't find a single fault with the place and absolutely will be coming back.

I felt like I’d been transported back in time to a gentler world cushioned by good manners, respect and an eye for detail. From the complimentary drinks upon arrival and departure, a lemon sorbet by the pool to an evening chocolate delivered with a smile.

The beach area was for hotel guests only and that limited the number of people and generated a relaxing atmosphere, unlike the hotels either side. Everything my wife and I wanted in a relaxing holiday was at our fingertips. The rooms were well decorated and clean and secluded from other rooms by the wonderfully gardens. The managers were always walking around to make sure guests were happy and all their needs were catered for. The food and restaurants were marvellous although a bit pricey, but I suppose that is worth paying for the quality. The only improvement my sons would suggest is to replace the gym equipment as it was not working. Shops are within walking distance but as you would suspect the main shopping street is very busy at night.
