Great stay at the W, very centrally located. Will stay here again

The hotel is wonderful. The facilities and service are outstanding. The only cautionary note is that it is located at the very central of London’s tourism area. It may be located in Soho, and it is right next to China Town, but it’s more like being in Time’s Square.

Great location. Friendly restaurant staff. Everything was great except for the service provided by the concierge Marina. She’s was rude and not willing to help. Other than this, our stay was great.

Central location, right next to Chinatown, was great. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and the noise from the lounge/club area made it difficult to sleep. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff and location of the hotel are welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and modern, but do lack a bit of privacy and in terms of the “bathroom” set up.

Amazing property, staff, service, ambience and location!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the W London. However, I would note this hotel is best suited for singles and younger couples. It would not be an ideal hotel for business travelers or family. W is known to be a fun and hip vibe, which this hotel is. However the room had a bit of an awkward layout with no real bathroom and the sink in the middle of the room in an island. Location is very convenient in Leicester Sq and at the doorstop of the entrance to Chinatown.

Great hotel, although not offering good value for money. The rooms are fantastic and quiete, despite being in the centre of London. The bar owner not Greta though (mediocre cocktails and terrible DJ), but there are plenty of other options around.

Overall staff and team are just friendly and wonderful, highly recommended at all times

This W Hotel is located in a very busy, commercial area, adjacent to London’s China Town, which makes it a very noisy neighborhood. It would’nt be a problem if that noise was well filtered indoor. Unfortunately, we had a terrible night and simply could not sleep until 5 A.M. because of the screaming and the honking outside. We talked about this to the staff, which was respectful, but not very helpful (they gave us ear plugs). The couple we were travelling with had the exact same issue with their room. Also, although we checked in around 2 p.m., the room wasn’t ready and we had to wait in the lobby. Again, the staff is very nice and the rooms were very clean and trendy, but these issues should not happen in a hotel like this one that has costed 800$ a night. We were for the very least expecting a good night’s sleep. I am leaving out a few details, and unfortunately can not recommend this hotel which has left disappointed.

We loved our stay at the W London. Rooms were beautifully and uniquely decorated and the staff was top notch. We highly recommend this property.

Excellent hotel with a friendly staff

The W Hotel in London is amazing! It’s a terrific location, right near China Town. So many bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. I will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is at the start of Chinatown. It’s a very convenient location but quite noisy. The rooms are decorated like a 1970’s bachelor pad with designer IKEA. There are mirrors on most walls and heavy doors that the shower and toilet are behind. A bit claustrophobic.

It is very well located and the room was marvelous. Staff at front desk and concierge amazing. Three not so pleasant things: 1) no 24h room service 2) late hour bar service very unfriendly particularly on Monday 3) our shower drain was clogged and wetted the whole room. It was properly fixed very quickly. All in all a good stay but particularly the room service thing is unacceptable for a hotel of this category.

It is centrally located in the theatre district and China Town. Only several blocks to many theatres and multitudes of great eating places. Staff were great and room was ultra modern. Good value!

At 2am lying asleep water hit my head and then a flood. Water everywhere. Had to Move rooms. No sleep. Weird room design. Weird property in a dingy part of town. Never again

I liked the location and familiar amenities of the W. The usb charger next to my bed was broken, and the shower leaked all over the floor and had little pieces of mold spill out. Other than that it was a perfectly pleasant stay with the most friendly and professional staff.

When I arrived the hotel around 12h, the reception said that the room is not ready, they will call me when it’s ready. I waited until 17h30, nobody called me. So I returned to the hotel, I was waiting again 30 minutes by the reception, I don’t know why, and I made already check in around 12h.

Init

The room seemed a lower standard to the previous stays (Marv suite), the room was back to front and much smaller. The music was blaring until 02:00 in the morning which where the soundproofing outside was impressive, internally it was particularly poor. I can deal with the sound but at paying £500 a night for a subpar room of its type, I won’t be staying again, which is a shame considering it was previously my go to.

Bedroom was well designed and interesting. Check in was extremely slow and staff experience in bar was below standard. Because of wooden floors in the shower it smelt damp.
