This hotel is ok.

I frequently stay at this property which is renovating its rooms. Unfortunately, electric sockets are ancient and one needs a training session to operate TV. The room was clean but missing such items as ironing board, hair dryer and soap & shampoo. After I complained, these items were provided.

Excellent choice in Punjab. Easy to travel around. Very helpful staff.

Do not make the mistake we made and stay here; this is not a 4 star hotel the rooms are disgusting and the bathrooms had mould and this is the only hotel we have ever stayed at where they think it is acceptable to have toilets that are stained brown. The shower heads and taps were covered in limescale, and the rooms all smelled of damp. They changed our room when we complained but the replacement room was just as bad. The service in the dining room was unacceptable. We left after 1 night it was so bad and managed to check in to the Radisson and that was an amazing hotel.

Room was fine. Room service was slow. Continental breakfast service was very poor. Some food items were not available. When asked for it took long time to deliver.

Stay was comfortable but complimentary breakfast was joke.they were unable to service even limited number of guests in dinning area.

Water was leaking in room they changed. my room was stinks with smoke did let the staff know about it

This hotel is my first choice among Jalandhar hotels as it is a a good VFM proposition

Service was fast. Had issues with the first room, then with second too. Expedia sadly overcharged us for the room compared to what the hotel was prepared to offer. Iam surprised at this.

The location is convenient. The hotel is clean. The onsite restaurants are clean and the food is good. The daily breakfast is plentiful with a variety to choose from both veg and non-veg.

for 48 hours it was no connection to be able to make international calls, very dark restaurant, very poor selection of food

3rd Time i stayed @ Ramada jalandhar. Best Jalandhar hotel is Radisson @ much higher costs but dilapidated cf this Ramada. This Ramada offers better value & being smaller there is much less noise from boys parties in rooms @ night. Many many other half cost or less hotels in area but if you prefer "westernised" + good internet then this is best. No-one in Panjab does anything with alacrity. Staff service speed could be improved. For some reason every time i go pool is in refurbishement

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel , staff were attentive and catered to your every need . Food quality at both the restaurants was excellent enjoyed the vast choices there . Spa facilities were also good and not too over priced. Wifi signal was not good at the hotel but overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again .

Hotel rooms are good. Maintainence is very poor as in the bathroom the door for the shower area was not maintained. Looking mirror was loose. Hair dryer was not working properly. It was told that two complimentary water bottles were given but when we checked in there was none.

The ambience and overall vibe of the hotel was good. The selection and friendliness of the service at the continental breakfast was also a plus. However, my main complaint is with the wifi and, specifically, how the hotel dealt with it. There were wifi issues (typical in India) that prevented me from connecting in my bedroom. I informed the butler who told me an IT serviceman would come help. After 30 minutes and no response, I went to the front desk where I was informed that the IT serviceman would not come until the morning. The problem persisted over the next two days. Finally on Day 4 of 5 the problem was solved. Upon checkout, I asked for a small discount (laundry expenses) to compensate me for my troubles. I was told that it was impossible as they had "already printed my invoice." I find this a ridiculous reason and frankly expected better service from a self-proclaimed 5 star hotel.

I would recommend this hotel for those not accustom to Indian local brand hotels. I was quite surprised at how clean the hotel was, the service (except wifi in breakfast restaurant) and the quality of the food. I had stayed in the supposed only 5 star in the city and found it extremely lacking. Don't let the stars of a hotel in India fool you. a 5 star is really a 3 star anywhere else in the world, however the Ramada really is a 4 star compared to any other hotel I've been in, in other parts of the world. My complaints aren't even to do with this hotel, but the other one I stayed in, in Jalandhar (the supposed 5 star) The other hotel firstly, does not serve proper coffee, worst I have had in the 50 countries I've travelled. Second, as for tea and they bring you a cup with a bag in it, you're fricken kidding me, it's India, where the best tea in the world comes from. At the Ramada, they have a real Indian Masala tea station, you would give up coffee for life if you could have tea this good every time. Don't be fool by the other hotel with an R in it's name, stay at the Ramada, and you'll be much happier.
