Staff realy friendy. This is our 3rd year and wouldn,t go any where else. Close to trams which take you to pacific fare and helensvale.great place to stay.

Good for age of building

All staff were excelent.accomodation very nice. Would recomend it to every one. Older building, but kept up to a high standered.

Reception checked us in early & were obliging above & beyond. The ocean & mountain views from our studio apartment were magnificent. A superb view from every window. For the price, our stay was sensational.

Different owners for different rooms with different set-up. The answer I got from reception for balcony chair for 2 rather than 1. Had to ask for missing sink/ bath stoppers, or even a cutting board. I had to bring my own pair of food scissors for kitchen use. We had to improvise where we can move the big microwave so we can use the kitchen bench for food prep. we're hoping we get a better room when we get back, as we've re-booked Equinox again in near future for long term.

The hotel has seen better days but the location and the ocean & canal views from our room definitely made up for it tenfold! Added to that, undercover secure parking was free. Service was great upon check in and again upon check out. We will definitely stay here again.

We had to book the Equinox resort late around 5.30 pm on the day we arrived. Contacted Equinox switchboard who confirmed our booking and informed us that the property manager will meet us on site.The property managers reception was not nice. We were told off for booking late and how did we inconvenient him because he had to come back after working late that day and had to come back to check us in.The unit was nice with good views , close to entertainment, shopping and transport

Location and views were impressive. Staff pleasant and room was satisfactory.

The facilities and property were clean . It is an older block of apartments but well maintained. Enjoyed our stay.

It was across the road from the beach so that was good. It's an old building, rooms need some repairs. But it was cheaper than the rest so you get what you pay for i guess.

I loved that i had views of city,ocean and river. The tv had foxtell channels and i had everything i needed to have a comfortable stay. The unit and everything in it is dated but for the price i paid i thought it was worth it.

It is really good Resort. Nice veiw, kitchen, everything's. I recommend this resort to everyone.

Room that we got was nothing like advertised on expedia. Substandard/ out of date and broken chattels.

Nice pool and rec area, slightly outdated but its got the main things right. Room was nice enough. However, the bathroom was a hassle to figure out how to use the attached shower head and the rails where not secured at all. But you make do.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at equinox sun resort! The staff were lovely and it felt extremely homely. Our views were magnificent from the top floor. The only thing is that our apartment was quite worn out and due for some fixing and a little TLC as well as some new pots and pans - otherwise fantastic!

surprised me. It was special in every detail. The furniture and kitchen utensils are new and the decoration is very beautiful and cozy. The views from the windows are amazing and the energy of the place is wonderful. The people who work at the hotel and the owners were excellent and hospitable. I felt like family. Little details struck me, like a kitchen cleaning kit containing a new dish towel, a sponge, dish soap and washing machine sachets. Coffee and tea packets were also available. All necessary kitchen items are available. cutlery, glasses, pans, plates, among others. There is a very comfortable sofa that you can admire the sea while relaxing. The tv is big and new with a very good sound. The carpets were clean and new, the bed is very good too. There is a washer / dryer in the room. In addition to good quality shampoo and conditioner. All very clean and new. I was impressed with the set.

I have to say it was better than I expected the room was well equipped and clean.

I enjoyed the views from the room, it was spacious and comfortable. It was also convenient to shops. Staff at reception were very friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

It is tired and run down. Guess the price reflects that? First night late checkin process was smooth. Instructions in envelope but no WiFi code for kids. Only 1 roll of toilet paper. Went to reception before we went out for the next day. They promised more... arrived back from our day out, no paper, reception closed. Great location. Good parking. Just a very tired apartment. Gym pool sauna fine.

Great location...The property is opposite the beach

The “resort” in the hotel’s title is misleading. While the staff are lovely people, there are only three to manage all 14 floors, with outsourced cleaners that tend the room once a week. The pool, spa and sauna/steam rooms are lovely but in desperate need of maintenance and proper cleaning. The lifts are rather slow and in need of maintenance. And, to top it off, the foyer has a pungent scent to it (obviously a candle or diffuser) that reminds one of the geriatric ward of a hospital — rather unpleasant. The exterior of the hotel is not as it appears in the photos. The hotel’s main facades have obvious rust and peeled paint that need ‘touching up’.However, the room itself was lovely and most enjoyable with a grand view spanning the Surfers Paradise Beach to the Estuary and Macintosh Park.The hotel has a nice location, positioned 1.2km walk from the Surfers Paradise sign and Cavill Avenue, or 600m from Macintosh’s Park. It’s a beautiful stroll.

The room I had had a good view, the room had what I needed with small kitchen area stove , fridge and microwave
