The room smelled like mildew and there was mold growing on the wall by the baseboard.

It was very nice and clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

I did not like the fact upon opening the door to my room I was met with a man with a gun to my face. When I went downstairs to inform front desk that room was occupied, I was told that the person didn’t do their job.. No one called to check on me after the incident to see was I ok.. and have yet to speak to manager about this incident. I have not been able to sleep thinking about this incident and I have signed up for counseling and to talk with my lawyer…

The pool was under construction so that put an end to us trying to keep the kids occupied for a couple of hours! The front desk clerk was very nice and pleasant! My sister had to change rooms 3 times because they all smelled like wet dogs! The I was doubled charged for my room and they refused to reimburse me! So I had to call hotels.com which all they could do was launch an investigation! I finally got tired of dealing with the situation and had to call my bank to dispute the charges! Definitely won’t be on my places to go to list in the future!

We stayed there Thursday-Sunday and they did not clean our room, fix bed, nor leave towels and wash rags. We never hung Do not disturb on door either.

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in
When I first walked in to the lobby the lady at the front desk was sitting down and acted as if I had bothered her by wanting to check in but she checked me in but definitely had no customer service skills.
We paid for the "Presidential Suite" and when we got to the room there were stains on the couch in the living room area, the floors in the bathroom and living area were not swept and the floors in the living room were sticky and dirty. There was no dresser in the bedroom.
I went to the front desk to ask for a comforter or something to put over the couch and inquire about another comparable room she acted like I had bothered her. She never once said she was sorry for any of the problems that we were having with the room or how she could remedy the problem (like sending housekeeping to the room) but no instead she gave me a mop. The windows were so dirty that you could not see out. It is a pet hotel and there were no doggie bags at the dog area.
We were scheduled for two days but left after one. I asked numerous times to speak with the manager and was told they were not on site but I asked for a phone call and it has been a week now and no phone call. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would go out of my way NOT to stay here. Worst experience ever

Where to start. The floor was dirty. The windows were dirty. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was caked with filth and very VERY loud. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Our toilet broke; there was no one to fix it so we had to move all our stuff to another room. No assistance from the staff with the move. In the second room the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work at all. The floor in the second room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The sheets smelled horrible and the couch in our suite had stains all on it. The door to the bathroom was broken and the shower faucet looked like it had never been cleaned before. You can hear everything happening in other rooms.

We had stayed at this property 2 years prior for the same reason, visiting family in near by town for Christmas. The property at that time was great and we had a lovely stay. This time was awful and we checked out early on Christmas eve because it was so bad and check into another hotel for the remainer of our stay. To start with, at check in we announced ourselves at the counter only to find out the clerk was sitting on the couch watching tv and playing on their computer. After finishing what they were doing, decided to check us in. We needed additional bedding for the pullout couch for my son, they did not have pillows or blankets. We borrowed bedding family the next day. The room was dirty with smudges on the walls, the sheets on the king bed were stained, the sofa cushions were stained, the toilet seat was not attached and my husband had to attach it, the bathtub/shower had grime and hairs. We asked front desk for a stopper for tub since ours was missing and our son needed to take a bath, front desk informed us that they had not time to have it replaced but it would be replaced by the next time we decide to stay at the hotel again. By the second night we had roaches in bathroom. One across the counter and another by the toilet. We promptly checked out early in the morning, Christmas eve morning I remind you, to stay somewhere.

The hotel looks very neat from the outside. It’s convenient to dining/shopping. Parking was ample. The lobby area was basic. Check-in went smoothly. Once on the floor it was apparent how badly it needed refurbishing. Hallway carpet was worn. The walls were scraped up. The room was very basic. It did have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker however there were no cups. The room appeared to be clean but the towels and sheets were thin and worn. The sheets were really wrinkled and did not fit the bed well. Despite being clean, this just gives it the “ick” factor in my opinion. The water pressure in the shower was minimal. I did like that it had wall dispensers for soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner instead of those little sample sizes however, there were 2 bottles of lotion at the sink so you had to get soap from the shower to wash your hands. I also liked that the floor in the room was laminate (?) and not carpet. The A/C cooled well. I can’t personally rate the breakfast area as my husband just went down for coffee. He did say it was pretty basic with hot and cold options. I asked him to bring me a cup of hot water to make tea but he said there was only coffee options at the bar. Check-out was easy and the lady working was very pleasant. I wish I had gotten her name because she was one of the very few bright spots at this hotel. Overall, this place is more like a $99 special. Definitely not worth the inflated price for a football weekend! Its 30-45 min from LSU.

This place was so scary in the room. Dingy, dirty bath tub, doors wouldn’t shut all the way. No soap in shower dispenser. No snacks or even water to buy.

Good: The employees were friendly and helpful.
Not so good:
1. The floors throughout the building, including in my room, were not clean. The hallways were dirty while my room floor was slick with something.
2. The breakfast was mediocre. The coffee was fine, but my croissant was stale, the sausage was neither crispy nor warm, and there was no fruit.
3. The interior is in need of a refresh. The walls and doors are scraped up and the thermostat on the wall didn't work and had holes in it (though the A/C unit had a working thermostat).
