Nice budget priced hotel. It was small, but clean and had all the necessities. Close to town as well which was great.

This is the basic Smart Hotel style. No frills, quite a lot of concrete, but clean, warm, good shower etc. The rooms are small and quite tight, but the bed is good. The breakfast was excellent, and I like that there were notices trying to get people not to waste food. The service was ok, I found the reception staff slightly reluctant to help and not very forthcoming which was a shame. No parking - you have to find the big underground car park. I didn't find it at first - the directions from the receptionist were not clear and ended up in a tiny, tight carpark where I scraped my car. Not the receptionist's fault, but better more helpful directions would have put me in a better place. Find the big one and stay safe!

Very functional, no superfluous luxury. Very friendly personnel, very good breakfast buffet. Coffee and tea round the clock and free of charge. Breakfast room open round the clock, to warm up, read, work or to eat your own dinner at night.

The room is v cosy and is value for money.

The rooms are tiny. We supposedly had a larger room which was in fact a wheelchair accessible room but I could not imagine a wheelchair user managing to move around the room to get to the bathroom, it was so tight. The beds are up against the windows, that's how small it was. You can see this from the pictures before booking, but really, the rooms are timy and poorly equipped. The breakfast was great, and the location is central.

In general OK. Very good and helpful staff. Malfunction of the night lamp.

Unfortunately the rooms where very dmall for 2 people. But the location is perfect.

It was a good stay. Good location. Easy check in. We came early. So, they allowed us to store luggage for free. Everything was great. Wish we had stayed for long

Nice place and breakfast

Very convenient to shopping, dinning, airport and cruise port. Good breakfast service.

The rooms are too small and they only have double beds so two individuals cannot sleep on the same bed. I slept on the floor. Not very comfortable. The door handle was broken and we couldn’t get in so they gave us another room and we had to move all of our items. Parking is sparse and very expensive.

Bed too small for two. Room too hot for sleeping. Cheep and Good value for the money.

Comfortable bed. Small room, but very adequate. Nice clean bathroom, and well designed. Stored luggage for free before we could check-in. Staff were OK and helpful when asked. Would stay here again.

The room is basic and small but very clean. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, ample and fresh, including the bread!

Everything was fine except the extra blanket I pulled out from the drawer below the bed and it had BED BUGS… not cool

The only thing about the hotel is walking up that hill with ice and snow on the ground. It was hard..especially if you had a suitcase. Other than that I was very pleased with my stay and will stay there again.

I think it's better to list the things: 1. Good breakfast 2. The "tourist expert" had a horrible attitude and after not helping me, cut into the conversation I was having with the nice receptionist and told me not to be picky and I can sleep on my suitcase 3. When we walked into the room, we could barely take our shoes off because it was SUPER TINY! 4. The shower doesn't drain the water and floods the bathroom 5. There was a bad mildew smell in the bathroom 6. Luggage storage is always a plus 7. Most of the staff was friendly 8. Good location

For pricing wise, it is too high with the accommodation standard

Loved my little room. Missing the excellent breakfast buffet already! Really liked that i coud bring food in and eat in the dinning area. Very friendly, helpful staff on the reception.

Perfect for a solo traveler like I was. Rooms were clean and functional. Hotel provided free coffee and water which was a bonus. Would recommend

Overall, this is exactly what they are going for. It's a bit Spartan. They want to appeal to those who will be out doing things rather than hanging out in the room, which I love. It is a fine value, in a super-interesting city! That said, if you are at all sensitive to street sounds, everyday noises (footsteps/ doors opening and closing, etc), consider other options.

Lovely property. Super clean modern rooms and very comfortable bed. The rooms are small but you are in Tromso for the outdoor activities, not to stay in a room. This hotel is an amazing value for the money. Very friendly helpful staff.

The simple concept is good, but it's just not cozy. The lighting is bad. Either you're blinded by very bright ceiling light or you're almost in the dark with a bedside lamp that is too dim to read by. The bed is too small for two adults. Slogans on the concrete wall should be substituted by a nice picture.

Clean quiet room . Very good breakfast. Great location. Saff all spoke English . Negatives; window would not open, nothing to stand on after shower
