Amazing stay as always excellent room and lovely food

Amazing clean and very comfortable room. The bathroom was amazing and very large.

Friendly checkin, wood quality rooms. Comfortable bed and blackout curtains.

Very good, comfortable, quiet at night for a good sleep. Full english breakfast and cereals. The rooms Block is detached from the pub. Food available in the pub.

It was a lovely stay nice staff and good food

Negatives: Cobwebs all over the ceilings in room and bathroom. Bathroom seen better days, very worn/mouldy stains. No heating, at least not functioning. Beds rock hard and bedding torn. Breakfast options mediocre. Pub stopped serving food quite early in the evening and didn’t always offer everything that was on the menu. Positives: good size room/bathroom. Nice with the adjacent pub. Big garden and parking lot. Bus stop nearby (3 min walk). Friendly staff.

We came across this by accident, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice large room with plenty of space. Everything was on hand with a fabulous breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. The only criticism is the bathroom could do with being refreshed. For the price it really was exceptional ! We are only sorry we didn’t have time to have a meal in the pub.

The amazing service and friendly, welcoming staff made a great impression. We turned up late and missed last orders for food; however, they were incredibly accommodating, providing us with cutlery and plates so we could order in. The room was great, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable night's stay. I would definitely consider this hotel for another visit.

Big room, newly remodeled shower. Great breakfast, courteous staff. Nice garden with tables and chairs for picnic or dining.

This was a budget stay on a trip back from airport. It was cheap and Ines expectations were limited. The disappointing thing is that it could so easily have been good but the general maintenance and cleanliness of the property is very poor. In the bedroom there was black spot mould on the en-suite ceiling; the shower door/ seal was mouldy; the shower control was very badly worn and hard to use; the toilet was dirty under the waterline and the mattress was beyond its best with springs very evident. The outside areas were at best grubby with rotten fencing and a feel of unkempt decline. Inside the pub it just felt grubby. A potentially very nice set up with very helpful staff is clearly badly managed and is lacking maintenance input from the owners.

Fabulous room with great attention to detail. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant which was good and the breakfast that was included was great. Definitely stay their again if in the area

Barry the landlord was very helpful and friendly. All the bar staff were friendly. The food was basic pub grub, but, very good. As a CAMRA member, I was pleased to see they offer the Camra discount. My room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in the room price, and very enjoyable. I will certainly stay again when working in this area.

Excellent accommodation

We had a lovely stay, Barry was great, in fact the whole staff were really pleasant and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was smashing and included in the price, so no nasty surprises.

Arrived around 4:30 after going to the Shopping Outlet. Check in smooth and quick with good directions to room. Room very clean and comfortable with first class tea and coffee facilities. Great bathroom with super shower and extras. To top it off an amazing breakfast. For the price an excellent stay and will be staying again. Thanks

Handy place to stay just minutes off J15 of M4 and walking distance to Coate water park. Friendly staff and good sized room with ensuite.

A very comfortable, peaceful nights sleep in a large bed in a spacious room. It had everything we needed. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the friendly manager presented us with a delicious breakfast. Thank you.

The room was close to a busy pub but it was quiet. Plentiful tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all pleasant. The room was good value but there were a few areas that needed attending to. Bed side was torn and a few areas in the bathroom needed a clean. Overall we were happy with our choice.

Very nice stay, quiet in rooms. Walk around Coate Water was a bonus, breakfast fantastic.

It was the 1st time we have stayed here and if we were taking this route again we would definitely stay here again. The room was pleasant and and clean witj a comfortable bed. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the breakfast which was included in the price was very good. no fruit or croissants etc, but traditional English. It was also convenient for the motorway. Only minor complaints the tiles in the shower the grout was mouldy., why is this such a common problem? The stairs to the room the handrail etc could do with a cost.of paint and the area outside the fencing to the restaurant was overgrown and needed attention. Hoe6, generally good and good value for money.

Welcomeing and friendly staff. Good english breakfast but no continental style option, not a problem for us but worth noting if that's your preference Rooms are in a block at the back of the main property and are clean, quiet and functional. Hotel is dog friendly and has a play area for children along with a good car park.

The accommodation was clean and looked newly built although it's 10 years old. Really nice room and bathroom with walk in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. The Sun Inn is a pub and the accommodation is next to it. The beer is very nice! Full English breakfast was a treat, very good value for money at £71 inc breakfast for a double room. Friendly staff

Would stay again and definitely recommend. No complaints here.
