So! This hotel was amazing. Me and my gf had the villa by the beach which is as close to the beach as it looks like in the photos. The villa is big, a great sofa downstairs, a big bathroom and a huge loft with a comfortable bed. The pool was cool but never went in because there was a beach 2meter away, the sunbeds were comfortable and the sunset was beautiful from the property. The staff was kind and really helpful, the food was good for breakfast and lunch but if you’re looking for fine dining it’s not quite there. And could you really expect that much? It’s actually a restaurant on/by a private beach. The manager spoke really good English and she was super kind and helpful. They also had really cute dogs! All and all we are incredibly happy, overwhelmed and looking forward to visit again soon. Pim and Nathalie

Love this resort! I stayed six nights. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in 5 weeks travelling. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the pool was sparkling. Had a massage which was also really good. Really looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

This hotel was a life-saver for our trip to Phu Quoc. We moved from a "3-star resort" due to poor hygiene - and Ancarine Staff and Hotel saved the day. Staff showed us a room and hotel amenities before we booked and were overall incredibly helpful and friendly. The resort itself is stunning and far better than their 2 star rating. The pool was cleaned daily and had a beautiful view of the beach. Beautiful landscaping and gardens which provided great shade and protection from the sun. Our only issue was the room doors had a large gap underneath which allowed a few uninvited guests to visit (toads, geckos and a mouse), but staff were very helpful and came to help remove them during the night. Be aware the resort is in a quiet and remote area. There are few local stores plus a very affordable restaurant only a 10-15 minute walk or bike ride away. Overall, I loved this hotel and would stay here again!

Its a lovely place to be in Phu Quoc. Beautiful seaside, clam waters, excellent staff, adequate chalets with friendly people around, especially the housekeeping team. Its our 3rd. time back here, so we love this place

The staff was incredibly friendly, always asking if you need anything. Food was fantastic. Drinks at the bar were big and strong, we loved it. Beach area very quiet and peaceful. The owners are a very nice couple always around ensuring you get the best service

Dream hotel by the beach. Nice large and clean rooms. Hotel awakening after the pandemic. High season is Oct-March and we stayed there in early July. A few guests. Wonderful swimming-pool with incredible view almost just for us. The sea is rough this time of the year. The restaurant needs to step up and offer a better menu. Excellent breakfast.

We've just returned from 2 weeks at this property. * It was absolutely perfect for r&r & get away & peace and quiet. * The beach is stunning .. very little rubbish / very calm / very crystal clear & the hotel clean it daily. Loved swimming in the sea there which is rare for some parts of Asia! Had a few stormy days which brought up a little plastic, but nowhere near as much as I've seen in other areas.* Their pool is stunning too - loved our regular dips in there daily!* The room was perfect. Clean, quiet & the bed oh so comfy! Lovely view from balcony too.* The cocktails / smoothies delicious!* The breakfast was lovely - great omelettes & other choices.* Ate a few times during the day at the restaurant, but we mostly borrowed the hotel bikes & rode a few mins to the near by restaurants* The staff are simply amazing - they are always smiling & so friendly & helpful. Always!* Their private shuttle service to the airport was fabulous too* They offer their transport too if you wish to go & travel round the island. Very competitive & preferred to use them as felt safe in their hands & good transport.* Love this place - would very happily return there in the future.

Lovely beach front bungalow. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The sea was very warm with golden sand - idyllic! Plus only a short taxi ride to the night markets and a 10 minute walk to the local town with lots of restaurants and bars and spas.

Breakfast was not buffet style but you can have as much as you like from the menu, based on western or Chinese style cuisine. After the terrible storm (it is a rainy season), the beach was damaged but the staffs were working very hard to clean up the beach. Actually, the private beach was much cleaner than neighbor hotels. Walking distance to nearby local restaurants, mini markets, and ATMs. I'd like to come back in dry seasons.

The professionalism and friendliness of the staff, all of them, were truly exceptional. Everything was clean and in excellent order. I took the time to notice employees going about their work when no one was apparently watching (except for myself) and each and all of them were diligent, thorough and efficient. The cost value of Ancarine Beach Resort is truly amazing and I heartily recommend it to anyone.

Room was clean, staff were very friendly and accomodating despite the language barrier. Thanks to google translate! Shower only have warm and cold water but it was ok. The infinity pool was absolutely amazing. The private beach makes its all worthwhile. We have a very good and pleasant stay here!

It was there off season very quiet but just as beautiful. They keep up the place like it was full of guests. Very friendly really the best!!

I liked the swimming pool and the beach was lovely. Breakfast was great but I didn’t really love their lunch and dinner food however it was directly next door to Mango Bay resort and their beach restaurant was really good.

Ancarine was amazing!! The staff were so friendly, lovely rooms and a beautiful pool and beach. There were lots of sun beds available and I loved the laid back feeling of the place - after lots of travelling, we were able to properly relax. The food is ok but better next door at mango bay (though much more expensive). I’m so pleased we chose Ancarine over Mango bay though as it was a great place for a lot less money. Happy hour drinks and watching the beautiful sunset is a must - enjoy!!

The staff was outmost helpful and kind, clean and calm beach with enough sunbeds. Excellent breakfast.

Stunning beachfront property with a gorgeous sunset. Rooms are clean and the AC works. Absolutely beautiful pool. Breakfast and restaurant were good and staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent property for the price point.

Great stay at the resort. Very relaxed and nice clean beach. The staff are very helpful and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Just one comment would be that this resort would not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues as there's several steps from reception to the beach and restaurant and also to most of the rooms. Would certainly recommend this hotel
