I had a wonderful time away just what I needed . I see other reviews saying the villa Rooms were tired but honestly mine was fine and I stay in lots of accommodation .
The online room service ordering system didn’t work . How am I surprised but by phoning the restaurant this was easy overcome and they were most help indeed .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at castaways. Booked a 1 bedroom villa which had great views. You do need to transfer from the carpark to the room in a buggy, and also need to drive to the restaurant. The food and service at the restaurant was very good, and buffet breakfast had lots of options. Definitely recommend

Great overall stay in a villa with spectacular views.
Only down side is access is only by golf buggy.
If you have a remote villa and early departure, make sure you take any suit cases the night before to your car.

A lovely restful retreat. Watching the sun set from our studio was amazing. Just stayed one night. Wish it was more. But we will be back. Didn’t realise breakfast was included. A lovely surprise and the bacon, eggs and hash tots were delicious.

Nice view and close to the beach. The receptionist is not friendly. I understand it was busiest time during the christmas and new year but its not a excuse. I paid $20 for the late check out, but the cleaner still asked us to leave at 10??
The Spa- I booked a time slot online 2 days before staying. 10 min Before entering the spa I checked with reception. The receptionist told me just go to the spa. When I arrived the spa, they still asked me to wait another 15mins.

We stayed at Castaways once before and had an excellent stay. That was the reason we chose to take our parents visiting from overseas there.
Chalet 18 we stayed in was old, didn’t think it was worth the $$ we paid. The windows hadn't been cleaned, the carpet was old, stained, flat and damp, the aluminium windows were pealing off. It was very basic compared to the chalet we stayed before which was a shame.
The food and drinks were decent but the fruit flies in the restaurant seemed to bother everyone. Shame the stone cooked steak was taken off the menu. The spa was amazing. In general the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just the one thing that seemed consistent from our last time.

While the scenery is pleasing, the studio accommodation felt more akin to a 3 star motel than a resort, with cheap fittings and dated décor.
Buffet breakfast was also substandard, with no à la carte options available.
