Clean and comfortable. Good food and drink

Basic amenities were not provided like something as simple as toothpaste. Could hear people in hallways even going in and out of their room. Room was in a corner but still not feel so private with the constant noise. Then checking out I realized I was charged twice. The front desk staff informed me it was by mistake and that I would be reimbursed yet it’s been over a day and I have yet to get my $500 back. I have to call which is inconvenient considering I brought this problem up at check out in person.

Hotel was very convenient to Seaport and bus lines for travel. Had many restaurant choices in close proximity. Staff was very helpful and restaurant on site was very good.

Great modern hotel close to Airport with free Shuttle Bus. 10/15 mins walk from the center of Boston city. Clean and modern rooms, would recommend.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very convenient for catching a cruise. Lots of choices of restaurants close by.

Pros: Our room was decent. The beds were comfortable. The view of the city was good. Staff was very nice. Con: The lights in the room were strange. Multiple lights on when you only need one. The bathroom/toilet area needs to have a shelf also the walk in shower also had no shelf. Granted they provided the shampoo, conditioner & body wash but if you opt to use your own, there’s no where to put it except the floor. The AC motor (not the fan)was loud! Very loud. And the room temp was inconsistent. The option for a grab&go breakfast was also weird. The food options were minimal. we had a purchased a breakfast each day & could use it throughout the day not only for breakfast. The staff were a bit confused on that tho. But anyway you had to order say a breakfast sandwich & then go the desk to “pay” which meant charge to the room, then they would deduct that amount from the final bill. Then there was a daily credit to be used at the bar, or the breakfast station. It was all very confusing. Their sister property across the street seemed a bit more casual.

It was nice

The stay was good - the room was clean, when we needed extra towels or other items, they came right away. There was a snack shop downstairs which was great when we needed some water or other drinks/snacks before going to the room. Our son loved the pool. Some cons - the room was very pricey - not sure if it was because it was a last-minute booking or because it was October when people travel to Salem. There was a window in the shower in which anyone in the bed area can peer into. Definitely not private especially when you're with family lol. Another con was the credit system - you have to use your $25 credit at the snack shop, bar, or restaurant, or you get charged anyway. We could have done without the daily credit system. Otherwise, good for the 4 nights we stayed.

Very convenient and close to the airport.

I attended a conference across the street from here and really appreciated the convenience. The employees were really friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived, and - most won’t appreciate this unless they’re in a real hurry to get somewhere - the elevator system is so fast. Great, tidy room with everything I needed, and I found the bed quite comfy. What’s not to love?

Everyone did an excellent job. Only 1 time did we have a concern with a valet person. We returned with the vehicle, he never moved- stayed on his phone and we had to give him the key where he was sitting using the phone

Short walk to cruise terminal that we needed next morning, and fast friendly check in!

Pros: Room very clean, bed comfy, area very convenient to cruise ship dock and several restaurants. Cons: Automatic window shade in our room did not go down all the way. Luckily, there was a seat cushion in the room which we used to block out parking lot lights. Hot water took about 5 min to reach hot temp. What a waste of water!

Too far to walk for dining options off-site. Approx. $20 Uber or Lyft ride required each way.

Loved this hotel. It was walking distance to the water and right across from the cutest park. Food and drinks at the bar were very good!

Big price, not up to that standard. Somehow i was upgraded! If that's the upgrade, hate to see the regular room. Dirty sheets, dirty walls, only one set of towels. Small. Ceiling had screws exposed, unfinished. The faucet was the newest item in the room. $54 to park your car per night. Hotel just felt wrong, put together, or they ran out of money.

Room was clean; everything was in good working order and seemed fairly new. Room was not large, but efficiently laid-out. Staff at desk were helpful and efficient. There is a nice park-type area within easy walking distance with picnic tables; there were a couple local lower-cost restaurants (e.g., sub sandwich shop and Dunkin Donuts) within easy walking distance for quick meals or snacks.

Great accommodations but lack of lighting in the bedroom area was hard to deal with.

Nicole was so so kind - easily signed us up for Marriott Bonvoy and upgraded us to a room that had a beautiful skyline view. She gave us directions to find some food and we found a taco spot that we visited twice in our one night stay!

I wish we had gotten in sooner but didn’t really have enough time to enjoy Boston before cruise! The hotel was great . Enjoyed the bar and was even able to order food that was very good! Going on a cruise again next August may stay again !

Everything

There was noise of kids running on the hallway and screaming and banging doors morning to evening. I called the front desk and they said that it was not during the quiet hours. Disappointed. Not visiting this hotel again.

We thought the breakfast facilities ad food items on offer were well below standard as well as our own expectations. The ability to have a decent meal at the start of the day was non-existant. If this is what's on offer at aLoft Hotels then count us out. We also felt that the aLoft was not convenient to shopping and dining options.

We were given keys to someone else’s room at check in. When we walked in the room was full of someone else’s stuff. When we got to the room that was ours; the shower was gross, the hot water for the shower did now work, pillows were not comfy.

Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Fun lobby and bar area.

Friendly informative staff. Onsite bar, restaurant, snack options for purchase and free 24 hr coffee and tea bar.

The staff was nice We had cold showers

The area was a little "bare" only two hotels and lots of empty lots and storage areas. No views. Very new, modern with excellent staff. The pool was kind of grimy looking though. Kids swam in it but I wasn't impressed. White tiles were stained brown around the water line.
