We enjoyed sitting by the river, an easy walk. Room was nice. At the time of our visit they were upgrading the televisions and the cable. There was no channel guide for us and the TV had no info at all, just the name of the network. No closed captioning.

The Holiday Inn Express in Helen was a great choice for us. The staff was very friendly and informative. They care about the people who stay at their hotel. I also liked the free parking and that it was walking distance to everything. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I highly recommend the Holdiay Inn Express!

We had never been to Helen so we weren't sure what to expect. We didn't know if a cabin was the way to go or a hotel. We chose this hotel because we are members and they have a reputation for being very clean compared to other chains. On the way to our couples getaway we had stayed at a different location on the State line and it was suppar at best so we were a little gun shy to stay at another holiday inn. When we got there check in was a breeze,our room was fantastic. Clean, plenty of towels and toiletries....y'all the bed.... This was the absolute most comfortable bed I had slept on. I'm not sure if they use the same mattress type in each room or if it was particular to the king rooms but wow! I even called the hotel after we got home to ask specifically about what type they used. The breakfast was good as always. I liked that they had healthier options like egg white omelettes and turkey sausage. All this stuff aside the staff was absolutely fantastic and so very friendly and accommodating. When was the last time you stayed somewhere and was eating breakfast and treated like a customer rather than a self serve breakfast.... I was asked several times did I need anything do I want a refill on coffee and they even cleared my table for me. Now I know it is not supposed to be like this but this particular location the staff that runs the breakfast is top notch! The location was great too close enough to all the action but on the other end of all the hustle and bustle.

The hotel was perfect for a quick trip to Helen. The desk clerk was attentive and friendly even though she had a customer on the phone and two customers waiting to check in. She even called the room later in the evening to make sure we were happy with the room. The person stocking breakfast was amazing. They were kind and offered multiple possible activities that we could do. I would 100% stay here should we ever return to Helen,GA.

The inside pool was cloudy and seemed a little dirty. Otherwise the stay was good.

Great area and location, we were able to see the 4th Fireworks Show from our balcony, amazing show.

It was a great place to stay. It is an older hotel so it is dated as far as carpets etc. but the rooms are big and spacious. Clean. Staff are wonderful as well.

It was very clean and I felt very comfortable staying at the hotel. And the staff were friendly. I also like the fact that it was quiet.

Clean hotel, room very comfy and clean. People above us making too many noises like walking and throwing stuff on the floor late at night. Nothing that hotel can do for that but, breakfast was a disappointment. Waiting for over 30 minutes to eat scrambled egg and pancake machine down for a while. Last day was the juice machine that was down. Other than that very good and clean hotel and friendly staff.

Staff did not make up room, even after requesting it, their excuse was that the tag was on the door, which was taken off after breakfast and verbally requested for the room to be cleaned. The TV dies not access to Netflix, but outdated.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was super clean and spacious. All the toiletries were supplied. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion. Warm cookies at check in and a delicious full breakfast in the morning. What more can you want.

We were very happy with our stay. I have allergies and if the place doesnt look good my nose will tell right way in the lobby. I recommend it.

Upon arrival when checking beds there where a lot of hair on sheets notified front desk and was told housekeeping has left for night I was given clean sheets to make m own bed very disappointed with this for the price I paid

Clean room and facilities. Quiet.

We received no maid service, returned to an unmade bed and overflowing trash. The front desk staff was rude, unprofessional and completely lacking in customer service. This caused out to check out a day early although we were told we were not able to receive a refund/ credit. l we will never stay there again .
