Old hotel, needs renovation. First room smelled of cigarette smoke, got a new room when speaking to the reception. Good with free parking.
Ok breakfast to be in the US, but the coffee is undrinkable, way too weak (its like tea that should taste like coffee).
Probably not gonna stay here again, area is pretty rough (as most of Memphis) and the hotel is old. Sufficient for one night probably.

First time staying here and definitely will be back. Room was spacious and nice. Everything was clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Originally chose this hotel cause it was close to Memphis Grizzlies stadium, but will be back to explore Beale Street another time.

We had a nice time. Hotel is in a good location only a few blocks from Beale Street and the Riverfront. Free parking for a place so close to downtown was a definite plus. They are currently upgrading the building on the outside, so there is quite a bit of construction material and trucks around the building. Overall, it served our purpose well and we’d stay there again for sure.

Hotel is fine, though high priced for what you get. I think Memphis in general is a downer of a city.

We were very pleased with the size and comfort level of our room. The breakfast was good, standard fare -- waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, etc. We appreciated the free parking, which was navigable in spite of some construction equipment being used for their exterior remodeling. We were able to walk to Beale Street and back, even as senior citizens.

Happy with the accomodation and breakfast.
The use of single use plastics is not good.
Also work was being done on the outside wall which led to the car being covered with polystyrene. The whole carpark was covered and basically allowed to disperse around the environment. Totally unaceptable

Great location for exploring downtown/Beale Stree which are all within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming and room was good with comfortable bed. Had a great time in Memphis and choosing this hotel as our base was a key element of that. Also good value.

There was some construction going on outside but it did not bother us at all. The room is clean did not have any nasty smell. Staff are friendly and excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

We didn't like the fact that at bkfst and in the pool areas that we were the only ones speaking English. We truly felt like we were in another country. And none of them were friendly.

We had a great time — the location is conveniently located near most of the downtown sights we wanted to visit. The staff was extremely helpful. We interacted with Cardi multiple times and saw him go above and beyond multiple times. He’s a gem!

Soft comfy like home. Breakfast every morning...could be more varied, but still good. Housekeeping good and accommodates anything that might be needed in addition. Front desk personnel were very very helpful. Would stay here again.

Not many amenities and the breakfast was very bland and unflavored. The doors are pretty much locked 24/7 and until you make it clear that you are a guest checking in, you will be left outside and treated like a beggar. After they trust you enough to buzz you in, you may get treated respectfully.. may not. Depends on how the front desk person is feeling I guess. Not worth the price to me, but it’s safe and near the highway exit.
