Amazing

The room was not clean. There was hair and dirt on the bathtroom floor and surfaces were generally grubby. There were also other tenants yelling and using unsavory agressive language. Luckily it was just the 1 night otherwise we would not have stayed.

While the key was left out for us, we had no shower mat, face cloth or tea towel. Dog was in unit beside us. Did the job but would never stay there again. Never

There was a muck-up in our reservation somehow between Expedia and the property and we ended up booked in to a room with too few beds. The lady at reception was lovely and let us use the room while I sorted out alternatives with Expedia. Expedia ended up moving us to another motel as there were no rooms left that would accommodate our group easily, so we didn't end up staying the night. Their customer service provided at the Coachman was excellent.

The property had missing things (cups / TV remote) damage to walls / windows. It was cheap and spacious and contact friendly. We knew what we were getting. I loved having a view of the historic, old cemetery. Thank you.

Nothing positive to say. Dust on all the window ledges, ice box in fridge frozen over, shower cubicle had holes in the wall, no seating only a bed to sit on even though it had a separate bedroom, lace curtain torn. Had to leave early due to family emergency and after nearly 4 weeks I still can’t get anyone to discuss a refund with me. They do not return calls and blatantly ignore requests. iWork’s never recommend this motel.

Traveller turned up and was told there was no booking for him and he had to drive all the way back to Dunedin. I'm STILL waiting for the property to contact me with an explanation and apology! Will not be booking them ever again.

I didnt get to stay here, Expedia had double booked for quite a few people due to their booking systrm failing and then not notifying us to double check confirmation directly with Coachmans (which Expedia had confirmed with me). But! The staff were awesome trying to get alternative accomodation and found me somewhere with a clean bed in a tidy place with a lockable room at no further cost. Fantastic service.

The person on reception was very apologetic about asking me if I had paid in full for my stay at the time of making an online booking through Expedia, but then went into too much detail about difficulties the motel had with bookings made through a third party (e.g. double booked rooms). However, she enquired what plans I had for the day, and even offered to arrange a lift to a place I wanted to visit. The room was equipped with a 'fridge, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses, and was very clean and comfortable. The receptionist pointed me in the right direction to reach it, but I was offered no assistance getting to it. On the morning of my departure, at 8 am, I almost missed a taxi I had booked as the reception was not yet open. What I understood to be the way out (the same way as I had entered on arrival) was locked and I had to find a longer way round to the front of the motel.

No room upon arrival, despite booking several days in advance and having confirmation. Offered horrible old hospital site which was horrific. No refund yet so obviously going to have to continue to chase my refund. Several others couldn't check in on the same night.

Expedia booking stuff up, multiple over bookings due to system failure. No notification of issues until at accommodation. Alternative found by coachmans. Wont be using expedia again.

We made a late reservation, but the staff was helpful and the unit was clean and neat.

The bin in the kitchen was not emptied out. The floor was sticky. Located at a roundabout so a lot of noise and headlights coming in the room because of the trucks.

I would not stay here again, it needs to be redecorated.

We arrived at 3.15pm with thinking time to shower and and dress, god started to stress, when we couldn;t get to our room, another couple were on their phone waiting as well, lovely lady arrived, she was awesome, finally got to our room and arrived at our destination.

Needs an upgrade, building and grounds run down ,carpets have passed their use by date Ibis hotel cheaper with a great breakfast included with premises and rooms sharp and modern Would stay at the Coachmans Inn again !

Easy to find and as we arrived on motorbike the receptionist changed rooms for us so we could get thebike under cover and out of sight from the road. Good size rooms and close to the takeaway shopthat was popular with the locals and was great for us too. Good to come back to after a hard day ofexploring the museums and local area.
