Excellent staff! Every staff are helpful, polite with good smile. All staff can speak in fluent English. No communication problem at all.
We called for the tissue and the house keeper sent us just within 5 minutes. Also, I want to give a great thankful to the nurse.
We enjoyed the holiday here.

The building area (lobby, pool area, …) is outdated. Our room with garden view is clean, spacious but outdated. No chair service at the beach.
The restaurant for breakfast is very busy and noisy with Korean guests. The food at breakfast is only 2* and is not fresh, not comparable with other 5* resort. Coffee is terrible!
In overall we rate the outdated Intercontinental resort in Phu Quoc as 4*- or 3*+, but does not by far deserve 5*.
The staff (front desk, room service) is very helpful though.

I had a wonderful dinner at LAVA for my birthday, the team upon knowing it was a special celebration were extremely attentive and caring. In particular, I would like to thank the Assistant Manager Le Cat Thuong for taking special care of us during our dinner, she took the time to explain all the dishes in detail and shared about the restaurant and hotel's history. Was a truly magical evening and a special thanks to the team for making it an incredible evening. We had the tomahawk and it was cooked to perfection.
Thanks to Le Cat Thuong and the team again, wonderful attentive service, would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people and would definitely come back.
Next, many appreciated to Mr. Canh Huynh, Sora & Umi Assistant Manager and Miss Maris, the services crew during the breakfast buffet time. They showed their enthusiasm and actively introduced the nearby tourist attractions. Very Impressive.

A huge paradise island resort, really beautiful beaches, well-kept pools, big beautiful rooms, breathtaking views and for a bit of even more luxury, the Regent hotel next door offers even more amazing restaurants. It's all you could ask for.

This resort is stunning, but still in it's infancy, with quite a way to go.
The rooms are stunning & we had a residence room for one night & ocean view for 6 nights.
Much preferred the layout of the ocean view room & tower.
I have just cleaned the glass on the balcony, to be able to see the beautiful sunset. It was not clean when we got here & not been cleaned since. It took me a whole 4 minutes to clean the inside of it, as that is where the filth was.
Shower glass is also never cleaned & quite grotty.
For a 5 star property, house - cleaning has a long way to go.
Breakfast was great, buffet dinner was extremely average for the price.
Yes would recommend, but have a little way to go. In-line with what has happened in the would the last few years, i am happy to be a little forgiving, but this needs to change.
Also, quite isolated, so awesome if you want to do nothing.
If you want to venture out, you will need a cab every time.
I sincerely hope they iron out some of these issues, as it really is a stunning property, with awesome staff.

It is a nice resort with wonderful deck pool. The environment is tranquil and relaxing. The roof top bar for sunset viewing is nice as read and being verified when i was at the bar at evening. Personally felt the music sound at the bar is a little too loud when i was there.

The power was cut several times at the night time for both 2 days that I stayed.
The hotel is still using plastic bottle water which is not environmental firendly.
We have 10 people and tried to go to LAVA, but we were turned turned down by LAVA restaurnat although they still had some tables but the waiter insisted rooms only for VIPs even its available. Anyway, we know we are not VIPs.
Drink in INK 360 is below expectation, of course, Sunset view is the only selling point. So most people leave right after sunset.
The hotel doesn't equip beach slipper, big bag for activity and straw hat in the room since these are basic equipments for resort.
Overall, it's somhow more like business hotel, still has room to improve as a resort.

Awesome place which is very family oriented. Looking forward to come back again. Only complaint is the price of food - pretty fkin expensive. Otherwise still awesome overall.
