This apartment was the worst I’ve stayed in over 10 years of travelling. The wifi was non existent, whereby the apartment we were in had no listed options & the only option was to connect to a neighbouring apartment which dropped out continuously. There were numerous issues which I reported to Smart flats with proof in photos. Eg: no teaspoons, no wine glasses, no egg slide or spatula, no cutting board, no iron, no light in shower, blown globe, no light at front door working, no TV, antenna issue, leaking coffee machine, slow draining basin clearly needed drainage cleaned, no towel hook or ring in powder room for hand towel. I would not recommend staying in these particular apartments & if the management team look after them in this way, I’d ovoid booking any of their properties ever. No oil, salt or pepper.

The location - close to Lousie and Porte de Namur - was great. Communication not so - we weren’t sent the details to get in to the property despite chasing before we arrived. In the end, it took several calls outside the property to get the right access codes. The flat looks good and was clean but none of the sink plugs worked and there was a strong smell of drains. Kitchen not very well appointed and mot enough crockery etc. and one of the windows was broken. The main problem for us was that my husband suffered a mains electric shock when plugging in an unsafe bedside lamp in the room where the children were sleeping. It’s just sheer luck one of them didn’t plug it in and that my husband wasn’t more badly injured. All the lights in the property had been unplugged- we’re assuming as part of the housekeeping routine - so it should have been obvious part of the plug was missing. We couldn’t see as it was dark. The company has been really disinterested and I just hope the light has been taken away for the next guests.

The property was roomy and had great space. It met the need of our group. The location was close to various things like food, drinks, shopping and transportation. I would book with SmartFlats again. There are a few cosmetic things the property needs to fix or look into for future tenants. The rooms' curtain rods look like they were broken and so the curtains had to be hooked onto the window. They kept falling off. The soap dispensers in the shower also looked like they had broken off. A towel hook in the toilet room would be useful because we had no place to put the towel. One or both shower areas may not have a drain trap so the sewage smell would come back into the space. We just opened the windows but future renters may keep complaining about it.

A lovely spacious property with a comfy bed! 20 minutes walk to the main square and Christmas market which worked well for us. However it is on a very busy road so I would suggest taking ear plugs! Also, it says it has a hairdryer but ours did not and when we emailed to ask about this no one replied. Overall a good stay but could be great with a few tweaks.
