We received a call 3 hours before checkin to let us know they close at 6pm so we’d need to checkin before then. Seemed weird! We arrived at 3pm (checkin time) and had to wait several minutes before anyone came to the desk. We chose this hotel because all information reported there was a pool, WiFi and breakfast. Upon checkin we were told the water-filled pool was broken and there was no breakfast. Our boys, who were visiting from out of town, were very disappointed. Once in our room, we realized we weren’t given WiFi information. We called the number provided to us. After several rings, the woman on the other end told us she didn’t know the WiFi password. While sleeping we were awakened by loud bass. We walked outside to find the source. There were 2 vehicles in the lot running but it wasn’t clear where the music was coming from. At checkout, we rang the bell multiple times. After several minutes, we called the number provided. The woman who answered told us to just leave the keys on the counter. Room was clean and comfy, but the whole experience felt very impersonal. Good place if all you want/need is to sleep.

This was a hidden gem. It is attached to a huge furniture store in front with hotel in back. It’s an older building but the rooms have been nicely renovated. Very clean & quiet. Convenient location.

The cleaning lady was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. The property is well kept, quite, and safe. Great deal.

This is the second time we've stayed at Klopfenstein Inn & Suites. This place is weird and wonderful. When we arrived to check in the FIRST time, we were greeted by a grumpy (but with a twinkle in her eye) woman - who if you play along with her, is a hoot. When we asked about how to check out, she said, "Just leave your keys in the room and move on!" It's kind of an odd set up, and most rooms are extended stay - so it fills up rather quickly. Our room was clean, but the remote was broken. There was no channel guide in the room, and the up channel button didn't work, so you had to scroll all the way through to see what was on. The toilet sand like Dory trying to speak Whale on about every other flush. Our second stay was without any incident. We were checked in by a lovely woman, who was sweet as could be. We kinda missed Ruth, the grump!

The staff (one woman) was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The problem was the lack of staff. I had to check in by 6pm because no one was going to be at the desk after that. No one was at the desk when I left at 7:30am. I know it's hard to find workers right now, but that's pretty crazy for a hotel this size.

Amazing price. Very clean. Perfect for short stays. Limited staffing and unclear checkout instructions were the only issues. But would definitely stay there again, without a doubt

Very clean and a great price compared to other area hotels. Great location with easy access to highway and amenities like restaurants and convenience stores. Small 32” tv in the room was about the only drawback, but not a big deal. Bathroom is a little dated and tub surface was a little sketchy with shower water pressure a little low, but definitely would stay there again for the value.

We travel a lot and rarely stay in a locally owned motel.As I was checking area motels to book I realized this motel had a higher review rating than the chains so I booked it.Friendly staff, ultra clean rooms and common areas, and priced right.We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.
