Our room was on the 30th floor. Despite being river view we still could see parting the beach and ocean. Really nice. The bed was comfy the spaciousness of the apartment was great. We used the restaurant as well.

I loved staying here, they really helped, especially with the parking as I needed help. They accommodated my requests, and check in and out was simple, quick and easy.

I thought the bathroom was very dirty. Although there were fresh towels the shower did not appear to have been cleaned between visits.

Absolutely amazing service, told them it was our honeymoon and my birthday the following day and they sent a beautiful hand written card with a bottle wine. Couldn’t fault them at all !

After parking in the hotel guest parking, was told to move my car down the road and carry all my bags a block to get back to the hotel. The room I stayed in wasn’t reset, dirty dishes still in the dishwasher, toiletries not restocked. The windows were filthy, looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, didn’t even bother putting the blinds up. Staff were condescending, and not happy to help. Person who stayed with me was brought to tears by how the staff treated her before I even got down to the lobby to greet her. Not a great first impression for anyone, and made me feel terrible. Supposed to be a high end hotel, the only high end thing about it was the building itself. Staff, cleanliness and convenience were atrocious. Will not be staying here again.

Amazing hotel within a short walk of all things Surfers Paradise! Great onsite facilities. Indoor pool is great, with an amazing view. ‘Coast’ bar and restaurant on level 1 has a great atmosphere.
Only criticism is the $20 parking for an outdoor carpark that is offsite.

The meriton on the esplanade was just amazing. Travelled from NSW & was worth the stay. Was situated infront of the water, shops& cafes. Will definitely be back. The staff were amazing & helpful. 5 star rating.

Beautiful rooms. Spacious areas for absolutely everything you would dream of ever wanting. Super fresh and clean sheets and towel. The biggest bed I have ever been privileged to sleep in so cosy and warm. Amazing technology throughout. Super awesome and really fun facilities such as outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, sauna and spa, washer and dryer. Absolutely stunningly breathtaking view looking down on the ocean and city including public transport. Innovative balcony with little hidden nook that shows a glass only view of the ocean beautiful sunrise to help motivate you to start your day or begin a new life. Strong blockout curtains if needed and the star of the show, beautiful delicate see-through curtains covering all the windows. This place immediately felt like I could brief a sigh of relief and begin again on my journey. Thank-you for the amazing stay. Bravo.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. We had a partial ocean view but it was spectacular.
The bed was comfy, everything was clean and you had all amenities in the room including washing machine and dryer.
The space was huge!
The only small things were the shower pressure was really low and the aircon wasnt quick to cool down the space but not really a biggy. While we were there the water went out for a few hours but these things happen.
The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and bars, 10 min walk to Coles and liqour store
One thing to note is the italian restaurant on site is delicious but dont go the resson is the free the chefs choice free appetizer advertised in the room as it was not even a mouthfull.

Great location and amazing accommodations. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lifts were fun too.

After a long check in, the key hadn’t been programmed properly so the lifts didn’t work. After a trip back to reception, the suite door was faulty, and it was difficult to open. Another trip to reception. Once we got inside the suite the door wouldn’t lock again, so had to use a chair against the door for security. The doona cover had a big pink stain on it and one of the towels appeared unclean. Also there was no kitchen amenities supplied. The light in the bathroom was faulty. Not a good start for such a new hotel. Like at all Meritons, the air con was very noisy. Also dislike that Meriton still has no clear privacy policy to protect guests’ email addreses even though it has been hacked.
