Hotel Royal Seoul is located in the heart of MyeongDong. Accessible from both subway line 2 and 4. Hotel has all needed amenities (yes, they have slippers and robes), and their beds are very comfortable (with actual comforter)! Great for a tiring day!

Being an English speaker it was very easy to communicate with the whole staff. From check in to dinning the cleaning staff and security. Perfect location for see all the sights near by Just steps away from shopping and night market. Everyone was kind and helpful. It felt very welcoming and safe. The breakfast buffet was great with wonderful views of the city. Great afternoon tea and light snacks. We were in town 10 days. Two of which were spent in Busan. They stored our extra luggage during that time until our return. Very convenient.

Perfect location with easy access to food shopping. Centrally located to historic sites and equally entertaining neighborhoods. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mr Kim head of security helped greatly with my questions. It felt very relaxing and safe. Would definitely stay here again. They also stored our luggage while we left for a couple days to explore other parts of Korea. Before our return to hotel for remainder of our visit. Helped with calling taxis and any other questions we had

It was our first to visit Korea and we wanted to stay somewhere convenient and where people speak Japanese.
Hotel room was spacious for 4 people and clean. The view from the to floor was just amazing. You can see the Catholic Church.

Room is not big , but the double bed is very big. Air con is super cool in summer. However， when I packed my luggage at the last night, I found two cockroaches walking in my baggage , guess was from the room. 😥

It was great to stay there, but there was only one washer and dryer at laundry room. People were waiting their turn.

The hotel staff spoke Japanese so I had a comfortable stay.

It was an unpleasant experience. I was given a key card by a female staff member with a different room number than what I had signed for on the check-in form. When I inquired about the discrepancy, a male staff member, LEE KI HO, suddenly appeared behind her, began yelling at me, and falsely accused me of insulting her. He caused a scene for no valid reason.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and highly inappropriate. Both staff members should be dismissed for their unprofessional conduct and possible attempts to cover up their shady practices.

Metro stop was about a 10-15 minute walk from hotel. Night market was right down the street. Staff were friendly. Only complaint was that the room was small.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Myeongdong surrounded by street food markets and all the shops you would want. Next to the cathedral and great transport links. Room was cleaned everyday and staff were always so nice and accommodating. I was a single female travelling and enjoyed the safety features such as needing a key to use the elevator.

This was my second time stayed in Royal Hotel Seoul. As the first time, room is neat and tidy. Location is excellent, right next to the shopping street. Highly recommand.

It’s actually a typical 5 star hotel. They know they offer so much amenities. The convenience to go to Myeondong street is right down the hotel.
However, I think the staff can do more by being more engaging to clients. Asking how their day, asking if they need assistance; etc.
I think the language barrier may be an issue however they were courteous enough to smile but not easily approachable as they have serious attitude.
But will smile when approached by clients. I guess in other countries I have been. It’s the staff who approach and much more open to offer assistance due to their body language.
Other than than- location is a perk for this hotel.

I stayed here quite a few times alr. This time I recommend it to my family and we booked 5 rooms, however we took almost 3 hours to check-in, as the staff was unsure of the details and are not able to see our booking on their side. We could only have 2 bottled water a day as said by the front desk. Another thing is the staff was not very good at English, therefore we struggle when communicating. One of the staff/managers even showed attitude as we were at the front desk for long (But it was due to their side, where they cannot see our booking), the only way we solved is to call Expedia to tell the hotel about our booking, and they could find it after. Staff attitude was not very good only when we met with issues during check-in. Hope they can handle such problems better in the future with the right attitude

the hotel is middle of Myondon area and easy access to every where.

I stayed 3 nights. It was so convenient location where I can access to two stations by walking. Besides, it located on the center of Myondon, so it was so easy to go to shopping and eating any time I want.

I only stayed for 16 hours, but the room was clean, the staff attentive and the overall feel of the hotel was great.

The hotel did not cooperate to give out one room instead of two rooms, since there was a guest next to me who was afraid to be alone in the room, and we asked to return one room, to which we were refused.
They also refused to let us check in early. We were very tired from the flight. For which they took a lot of money from us. Very bad for the hospitality of tourists, I will not return to this hotel again.

Amazing experience with the staff, who were very helpful when we asked for more information. Spacious room withn good location. Location of the hotel was very good with many shops in the area. Conveniently located with shuttle bus to airport within walking distance.

Location of Royal Hotel Seoul is very convenient, right at the shopping street. The lobby is luxury. Highly recommend. Definite will come again when I visit SK in the future!

Very impressed by this 4 star hotel and it was money well spent. The size of the room is spacious with 35sm for triple beds. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Good quality toiletries were provided as well and housekeeping service was excellent. Concierge and front desk staff were eloquent in English which makes communication a breeze. The gym was well equipped and clean too.
