Country Charm B - Pet Friendly Cabin in the City Limits of Alpine Helen

Even with short notice GMR was quick to respond. Arrived and found all as described. Express checking info was excellent, no problems with access. Equipped as stated, and over the top with personal touch per our special occasion! Good follow up from GMR concerning our needs. Location was good for us since we wouldn't walk into town anyway, but could be done in 15 minutes. ($5.00 parking for all day, in & out can be found!) Cons: although WIFI is strong the internet and cellular is signal buffers often but no other problem with 1 or 2 bars of cell service. We recommend wearing shoes inside cabin. The floors are well vacuumed but not necessarily thoroughly cleaned. I don't consider the tv situation a GMR problem and the floor did not detract from our stay.(Wore my socks and they wash easily!) Checkout requirements were simple and easy. We will be using this property again! CUDOS TO GMR!

I had the best time! The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful! I rented for a quiet girl's weekend with my best friend and it was so close to downtown Helen but also far enough that it was like being much farther out of town. Also, GMR is very kind and did a phenomenal job of preparing the cabin. It was very clean and smelled great too. I couldn't have asked for more!! Cannot wait to stay again.

We had a great weekend in Country Charm B!! It’s in a great location, close to everything but feels like it’s far away. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The only thing I would say it needed was a door mat at the kitchen door as it was raining when we arrived and we tracked water onto the floor. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, two important things for us lol. The reservation process was great and Sherry was very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend!!!!

The cabin was in the perfect spot in Helen! It was located just out of main town but was in walking distance to some shops and activities. I had my kiddos ages 7 and 8 and my fur pup as well. Very family friendly, management was kind and easy to contact when I had a question.

We chose the cabin because it was pet-friendly. It was very clean and very quiet. It could be walking distance to downtown, but is uphill to get back. We opted to park in town to walk around. The cabin has been redecorated since the photos were taken. The only change I’d make is there is not fan in the bathroom so the steam has made the walls mildew a little. Being there for Christmas, Helen was full of people so the cabin was a nice, quiet respite from the crowds. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in Helen and at this cabin. On a Saturday afternoon, we had trouble with our lock. Within minutes a technician came to trouble shoot and had to come back to finish the job on a Sunday. Very easy to deal with. Loved the cabin and the area.

Property was nice, older cabins( needs some TLC, but see some work in progress). Glad only 2 cabins were in use at the time. More private that way. If we visit Helen GA again, would use your cabin again.

We enjoyed our visit. The deck was nice to sit outside and relax though only 2 chairs were available. The kitchen had what we needed to make ourselves comfortable for a couple nights. We did not use the jetted tub so can’t comment on that. I think the parking would get challenging during a busy time.

We enjoyed the cabin, it was very comfortable, convenient to town and activities.
Cons: The floors were very dirty, dead bugs on floor, someone else's trash under the table. it was a plastic bag with trash in it. Also would have been nice to have a broom or vacuum to clean the floors with during our stay.
We had a small bottle of Palmolive dish soap that was extremely watered down. Really, it's dish soap?
We had an issue with the electronic lock, that was handled smoothly and professionally. Overall it was a great trip

This was a very cozy and comfortable cabin with a great location. It's just minutes from anything you will want to do in the Helen area. The check in/check out process was very smooth and easy. We had a great time and will definitely return.

We had some trouble with an inoperative front door lock, but the property manager was very responsive and the maintenance gentleman arrived promptly and was very helpful! While the cabin was cozy, it could have been cleaner and better maintained as there was dried food particles in the silverware drawer and the bedside tables were badly damaged. In addition, the Master Bedroom mattress was old and not very comfortable. The clock on the wall in the kitchen had a dead battery and was inoperative, and the smoke alarm battery was continually chirping as it was dying. On the positive side, the property was very close to town and quiet! A winter storm allowed us only one night's stay (out of a scheduled three), so we did not get to stay for the full time. Overall a good experience, which could have been better with some minor updates and better cleaning!

This place was nothing like the photos. Everything was very dated and well worn and the bed was just worn-out period. The flooring in the bed room had big gaps between the edges. We left a day early because of it. Hope our stay in Florida later this month is better.

This cabin was very comfortable for me and my family! The loft was great for my kids as they had their own space, and beds. The couches and beds were nice, again comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and there is a dishwasher. The porch and swing were also a nice feature. The cabin was close enough to walk to town, maybe 15 min walk. The only downsides to the cabin are the shower, which is small, and the
Door entry code must be typed fast or it doesn't work. Other than those 2 things our stay was wonderful.
