Cette maison de vacances en duplex est parfaite pour les familles qui ont l'intention de passer la plupart de leur temps dans la rivière ou au parc aquatique. Situé derrière le parc aquatique Cool River Tubing et à distance de marche du centre-ville d'Helen! La lumière remplit cette maison à travers les fenêtres du sol au plafond donnant sur la rivière Chattahoochee. Asseyez-vous sur le pont arrière et écoutez l'eau couler. Préparez un dîner sur le gril à gaz, nous fournissons le propane!

We loved Cabin on the River. As a family in the middle of moving, it was a welcomed respite to the mountains and the cabin provided the perfect place. The cabin was well stocked, temperature control was ideal, and the beds were comfortable. The quiet neighborhood made us feel like we were secluded from town and the close proximity made daily activities accessible. We would definitely consider returning if we visit Helen again.

We travel with friends very often and make wherever we go,'THE BEST' House was comfortable and lovely. Our group really enjoyed the carport area by the river, so very nice and breezy.

We arrived to discover the property had very high stairs and no ramp or elevator. We were a group of 4 and 3 could not do stairs. This handicap left us with a struggle. We could not get all our luggage upstairs and once finally up ourselves, we could not go in and out freely to see the sights. We were pretty much housebound. Ruined our vacation. Do not rent this property if you have a handicapped person who can't do very high stairs.

This “cabin” is a 2 story vinyl sided house on concrete pillars with 2 bedrooms 2 baths (only 1 shower on the first floor). First issue was first floor toilet. My father in-law used it and it clogged up. We called the emergency number with a voice mail to “Jim”. No one ever responded. I had to plunge the toilet and clean up the over flow myself. The dated interior looks like it was decorated with hand me down furniture that’s been well used. Multiple dust covered plastic plants and other kotchkes were scattered everywhere. This place had not been dusted in a while. My wife was sneezing the entire 3 days we stayed here. Tried the gas logs in the fireplace but they would not stay lit. Tried the grill on the back deck but it would not light. The 1990’s era microwave would not heat up food properly. The upstairs bedroom had a well worn king size bed with an indentation on one side. The ceiling fan had one speed-high. My wife tried the jacuzzi tub and was doused with grit coming out of the jacuzzi pipes. The steps to gain entry are steep, well worn and have several treads with nails popping up and out. One wrong foot placement and someone could be easily injured. Porch railings are loose on the front and back decks. Cheap toilet paper and paper towels to top it off. This is the most disappointing VRBO/Georgia Mountain Rentals we have ever rented.

The location was excellent right off the Main Street of Helen. The cabin was right on the river , very clean, had all the amenities for cooking at the cabin, all the appliances were in working order, the beds were comfortable. Overall was a very nice place too stay.

Price was good. House was clean &secure. Located in town. Being on the river was a plus. Beds & pillows were hard. TVs we're small with a tiney sound which made it difficult to hear. House was quite cluttered with too many decorative items.

The cabin was right on the river. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and loved that we could put our chairs right in the water on hot afternoons. We walked right up the bank to the water park which was very convenient! The cabin itself could benefit from a good pressure wash and updated decor, but it was clean and comfortable and located in a quiet area that was still close to town. The staff at Georgia Mountain Rentals was friendly and helpful. We’d definitely rent from them again.

Overall the property was nice , my only issue is that it could have been cleaner , food or trash in cushions , I had to sweep the floor , didn’t look like it had been swept or mopped. Mold on the outside chairs . Railing on porch was not very secure .I’m not one to complain really , but I feel the owner should know about the cleanliness and the railing really should be upgraded . Beds were nice and clean kitchen clean most everything else was nice .

Great home away from home. We loved the access to the river and had fun being able to play each day in the water. The spot is a little busy with people fishing under the bridge, water park just across the river and other explorers. We enjoyed people watching during the evenings while sitting on the back porch. Location is secluded enough but was still very close to town and trails. This was our first time visiting Helen and we plan to come again and stay in another house with the same property managers.
Pros: location and view. House had everything we needed except laundry detergent but we picked some up from a local store, no problem. Town was a short drive and the back way offered a way to avoid some minor traffic in the evening on the weekend. River tubing is just a short drive or walk away.
Cons: ceiling fan in upstairs room is all or nothing. We found the lowest setting still way too fast / loud but definitely not a deal breaker. Cell signal is bad but the Wi-Fi worked great! Even with a preteen. The road to and from the house is very tight and sometimes was a little difficult but that happened in a few places in this area so again, wasn’t a deal breaker.
We had the best time and will definitely be back.

Beautiful location! Beautiful view! Would love to visit again! I only have a couple of suggestions and that would be that a table would be great and the thermostat able to be set lower than 69 degrees. Other than those two things it was great and a beautiful place!

Very clean, comfortable and relaxing stay!!!! The location is extremely close to town (walking distance) and felt very safe the entire time!!! The only tip I have is for the lockbox upon arrival. Check in was at 4 pm and the lockbox didn’t allow us to enter until 4:10pm.

My husband and another couple stayed here for a weekend getaway in Helen. The property was exactly as listed and had a wonderful, homey feel. We loved the Christmas decorations and the homemade ornaments you had as a souvenir. Very clean, great location! We will definitely stay here again.

I have never had a rental unit before that had a management company so focused on customer service. From the instant I booked, throughout my stay they were constantly communicating with me to make sure everything was meeting my expectations. We had zero issues with the unit and I think that is because they were so customer focused. I also feel that the unit was much more than what I expected it to be when I arrived, we were extremely pleased with the accommodations.

Nice clean property right on the river. Very quiet with about a 10 minute walk into town. The first few moments of the walk to town is quit steep but pleasant after that. Saw a lot of bears near the house. Will stay there again.

It was a nice place to stay. Area is quiet, even with the water park close by. It was not quite as close to town, as we had hoped and my husband didn’t catch any trout, as he had hoped. (He usually does well wherever he fishes). It was still within walking distance, although a long walk. So we were able to get plenty of exercise. If you are looking for a quiet get away, I would recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely cabin with our 2 year old grandson. We enjoyed the location, right on the river was perfect for us so that we could play in the water with the Grand baby. We rented a golf cart and could easily drive back and forth to town. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely no complaints! Would definitely stay here again.
