Stayed here several times but this was by far the most disappointing and probably the last as a consequence. Room I was allocated was in an area of hotel where halls were still being wallpapered. And the room itself didn’t even have a mirror. The response of the hotel to this has been particularly poor - platitudes rather than any meaningful action or acknowledgement of the poor experience.

Nice hotel, not great value

I loved the hotel overall. Amazing breakfast buffet. Staff are super nice and rooms are very clean and spacious.

Everything was great until we checked out. I got wrongfully billed for 4 buffet breakfast instead of 2, this is 120+GBP. At check out I explained that this is the wrong amount, as we just came in to pick our kids after they finished their breakfast to go out. Despite the fact that I waited around 30 mins for the attendant to go to the restaurant and check the signed bill. And although she confirmed to me that the amount will be waived and she will send me the invoice by email so not to keep me further. I was surprised upon my departure that the amount was debited in full. So, it's either a scam, or staff incompetence! This is my second stay in less than a month with 2 rooms reservation every time. I believe I will think twice before making another booking or recommending this hotel to anyone.

What I liked most is that everywhere I wanted to visit was walkable and close by.

Location

Nice and quiet upmarket hotel in good location. The restaurant is a bit bland in design and its offerings, although food was good but nothing special. Spa does not really exist. The concierge calls external agencies to get a therapist in you use a special beauty suite on the second floor. Was not too excited to discuss treatment required in the lobby with a bloke who did not know what a lash tint was. Imagine you need a wax …

Beautiful setting and hotel, incredible friendly and helpful staff

This property is lovely. Staff is extremely accommodating. The area is absolutely beautiful for walking, lots of stores and easy access to Oxford Street.

House keeping cold do a better check as one of the sheets had stain.

Good place for a short stay. Door could be more attentive. On arrival no ask to help with my bags.

Better rooms and gym after renovation. It was a great getaway. negative points: A bit crowdy and noisy in the lobby and main entrance. The toilet in the room is really small.

Staff very helpful and pleasant from moment that we booked in to when we checked out. Restaurant staff excellent and the room service we had was first class. Bed the best we’ve stayed in in London everything was so clean wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Amazing...Very Nice Hotel

Nice clean hotel, my room had just been renovated. All the sounds from the corridor could be heard very clearly in the room. The breakfast room was noisy and restless.

Very nice and fine hotel. Two blocks away from Oxford brings a nice balance between quietness and heart of city movement. Excellent in all ways.... services, property, rooms & amenities. Will be back!

Centrally located near great restaurants and shopping. Nice business hotel. The Japanese toilet was a fun "surprise".

Where to begin! Check in and check out slow with surely staff. Asked twice for twin room before stay and they issued a double. Ordered taxis which they forgot to order. Had to ask 4 times for tea at breakfast. Cooked breakfast very poor quality and cold. Still sorting out invoice as they have double charged for breakfasts. The service at this hotel has sadly declined since I last stayed there a few years ago. The concierge staff and parking staff were excellent. Their reception and waiting staff could learn a lot from them as regards quality service.

We moved to the Hyatt from another hotel and it did not disappoint. Right from the king size bed, room size and the bathroom. They also have us complimentary breakfast as it was my wife’s birthday
