The room was dirty on the heat unit. The shower was terrible with mold /mildew and caulk peeling. The shave pad was in the opposite end of the shower. Leaving your face in the spray while trying to shave. The water took OVER 5 mins to get hot to use the sink or shower. Most importantly the door did not shut without slamming and extra pressure to latch. When leaving we were able to push the door back open several times before it was latched and secure to leave. THIS ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN RENOVATED! The linens were clean and we made it work for our short stay. There was no microwave to use in the room.
The staff was very nice and tried to help as much as possible.

I normally do not leave reviews - especially ones that might tarnish the reputation of an establishment, that being said, I post this out of concern for issues of sanitation. I booked this room several days prior to my stay and had no idea that the hotel was and continues to be under renovation. The two elevators are shared with the construction workers hauling debris out from the upper floors - understandably there might be debris on the elevator floor from such activity but over my 2 night stay noticed that the same trash and dust on the elevator floor stayed there. It was clear upon entering the room - priced at roughly $140 per night not including tax - why the hotel was undergoing such renovations. The paint was scratched and worn around the trim in the room, there was a stain/hole in the curtains, the cable outlet was separated from the wall and laying on its side, there were areas not painted that were very noticeable, the carpet was slightly damp and bathroom floor sticky. No one was around during the breakfast buffet when I was there to tidy and wipe clean the counters periodically from guests spilling food on them. There were flies. I decided to forgo breakfast. Trash cans outside the hotel near the pool and picnic were not emptied on a regular basis as I observed an empty cigarette box handing out of a garbage can for two days. The staff were friendly but unfortunately, I will not stay there again.

They are remodeling the 4th flood, where the ice machine is. There are no signs indicating that plus long waits for elevators as the constructuon guys are using them. Went to 4th floor , no ice machine in aervice and then had a 7 minute wait for an elevator , went to 6th floor for ice and that machine didnt work either. Had to go to lobby. They should put signs up warning guests , NO ICE and do not go to 4th floor.

This hotel was soooo bad. The pictures on the website did not match the rooms. It is completely outdated- stains on the furniture, weird bugs crawling on the wall- I felt so uncomfortable. I requested to change rooms and that’s when I was informed that they had renovated rooms available. I appreciate her changing the room but it wasnt much of a difference. It was just a weird vibe in the hotel. It was so bad we left a day early and just stayed with family. The elevator was so dirty, the floors were dirty. I honestly feel like this was a case of false advertisement. Don’t stay here- for your own sanity.

Excellent economic stay for the family. Safe. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Included breakfast offered variety. Hot: bacon, eggs, seasoned potatoes, waffle s. Cold: cereal, cut fruit, yogurt, bagels.
For all the reviews that complain there is no soap/shampoo/etc, try looking on the wall or asking staff. Reserved a room with pull out couch. No pullout linens were in the room. Spoke to staff who very kindly provided all supplies.
If wear and tear are not acceptable, don't book here. Linens had some small stains but were freshly laundered. If you set your expectations to the price point you are willing to pay, this will make you happy.

The hotel is being remodeled. It is a mess. They still have gold cone christmas tree decorations in the lobby. The furniture was stained. Our guest room wasn't cleaned well. We cleaned paets of the barhroom ourselves because it was late and we had our dog.

I was very disappointment that your staff didn’t have enough supply Face cloth body cloth that’s sad. What do you expect someone to use the same dirty towels and bath towels every day and I wouldn’t impress with the room service. My room was not clean sheets I spoke to the front desk also to house keeper couldn’t do more than that, I’m ashamed and you should be embarrassed for such treatment. My feelings about my stay how can I say when I asked for Face bath towels even have my room clean it didn’t happen. I spoke to the front desk and I also spoke to the cleaning. Crew told me they were clean my room had to use my and Bath my whole stay that speaks a lot about this establishment did you overbook or have too many people staying in one room, when you were not able to handle Demand, what does that say about The hotel need I say more now

Front desk staff was less than friendly. Breakfast was mediocre at best, fruit flies, no coffee, two large 50 gal. trash barrels in front entry vestibule was not appealing walking in and out of hotel. Room was clean and conformable. Overall, it was not what I have previously experienced at other Hyatt Place hotels. There are many other choices for hotels in that area and would choose another on my next stay.

Rooms are not clean shows lack of proper maintenance, Water not draining in the tub, carpets dirty, mini fridge not working properly and mostly importantly breakfast items not fresh / very disappointed with the breakfast food items.

The pool wasn't available due to maintenance wish I had known ahead of time I would have went elsewhere. The bar had no mixers for alcohol besides tonic water. The food was decent at best.

I experienced a blown out tire the evening of my check-in which prohibited me from actually checking in. Fortunately I was close to another hotel and safe while waiting to get towing services. I called the hotel (directly) for two straight hours to make sure I wouldn't lose my room. After I mentioned to that hotel staff member I was unable to reach the hotel of my stay, they offered to text because they knew the staff. As soon as he did, I called and the phone was answered on the first ring.
When I arrived the next day for check-in, my key with my name and room number on the envelope was taped to the desk (found that weirdly unsafe to broadcast that info). There was no information shared about WiFi services, breakfast, or elevator location. It was a very non-plus experience.
I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by the underwhelm of my room. In their defense, the hotel is getting renovated, however, the burn mark on the rug, the rusty mirror closet (and light fixtures) and damage to the door from replacing the lock system, left much to be desired. It would have been too much to mentally reconcile if my stay was longer than two days.

Rooms were very dirty. Construction was happening so it was noisy as well. Pool was not filled. Room had a wet couch that had to be moved out of the room. I had to help move the couch. The only good thing was breakfast. It was one of the best ones of any hotel I have stayed yet.

After arriving we were told that we could not purchase anything from the hotel bar or any snacks as we had paid for the room. Via a 3d party, i.e. hotels.com. We were told they had no way to charge us despite leaving a credit card for incidentals.
We know this was either staff laziness or incompetence as our incidentals card has worked at all other hotels.

Undergoing much needed renovations so pool was drained and top floor was closed for reno. Was told that the work would stop at 6 p.m. but went up to get ice on Friday night (no ice on our level) and it appeared that the construction crew was staying in the rooms they were rehabbing, specially as they were there at 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Didn't bother us but I could see it bothering some. Honestly, it was a fine place to stop for an overnight on a roadtrip.

Checked in and the when I entered my room it was occupied and the couple was getting ready to go to a wedding - embarassing. It took a while to get a new key. The stairwells and elevators were dirty and there was a lot of structural/hardware that needs to be maintained or fixed.

We are doing a tour of historic sites and Art museums. The room was in a safe place and very spacious. It’s an older hotel but we alway like Hyatt. We had the best Older Man check us in. He made sure he told me to ask

Advertised a bar and 24 hour food and that was not true. Provided a good breakfast. Had to ask for housekeeping service after my 3rd day stay and they still didnt bring any wash clothes nor soap. We didn't have washcloths the last day. The first night the lobby smelled like an unclean mop.

Air conditioner unit was down and I was unable to cool down the room. The bathroom had an odor. The trim was coming away from the walls. My son was using the pull out couch and the mattress was dirty. There was no microwave in the room although it was $200 per night. The one microwave in the breakfast area took 3 minutes to even remotely heat a plate of food. The breakfast area had a funny odor. The outside of the microwave was dirty and there were ants on the counter.

First thing I noticed was a dumpster outside the hotel. Second thing was leaves all over the ground from the fall. Third, the musty order as you walk in the hotel.
When I got my room when i entered the room it had not been cleaned. I was given another room it had a stench an order that was extremely unpleasant.
There was mold all over the shower inside on the outside. I pretty much stayed up most of the night worried about bugs.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Let me start by saying the staff was amazing. They were friendly, greeted us with a smile and able to help us with anything we needed. The hotel interior, decor and furniture is dated and needs attention. The room was ready for us but it didn’t appear the vacuum picked up everything as the floor was dirty. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. For a quick overnight stop, the hotel works but I wouldn’t stay there for more than one night.

This is a great hotel but has room for improvements of course. I think the hotel's photos and info needs to be updated because i expected there to be an restaurant or bar but oh well. The pool was great and the rooms were very nice. The cable package was not very entertaining but i was not interested in buying from the on demand selection. The cleaning staff was a little hard to find but when they great when they came. Parking was great, the staff was courteous and the complimentary breakfast was awesome! A deep clean and investments of fresh linens would make this place shine.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and hallways needed cleaning and upgrading. It's showing its age. Little things, but they add up. Coffee always available but no real cream offered. We bought our own. Not one USB port in the room. Devices could only be charged using adapters and several of the outlets didn't work. No microwave in the room. Temp control on the AC illegible. We kept trying until we got it right. These are the things we expect of lodgings in a prime location such as this one.
Finally, the smell that surrounds one on entering the lobby is not appealing. Could be a cleaning product but smells like an air freshener designed to hide something else.

I liked how smooth the transaction was. I slept soundly both nights and had a decent breakfast both mornings.
It wasn't super clean or well kept. There are many stains and scratches you have to overlook if you want to enjoy yourself. I did have to dispose of a dead roach upon arrival, but I didn't see any live ones during my stay, and also the room was never cleaned when I was there.
Other than that, overall, I've definitely stayed in worse and paid more.

The hotel was under renovations so this might have something to do with the overall aesthetic of the place. The room had little details not completed or missing (trim, carpet, paint). The mattresses were comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. The pool area had trash in it. The pool was clean although the paint was peeling in the pool. The staff were very nice and professional.

We traveled very far and we brought kids and they were tired and exhausted and this is just unbelievable and horrible. We didn’t even get a room after we arrived at the Hyatt hotel and they said you guys overbooked and didn’t even give our information to them. They didn’t call us or email us because you guys were too careless to forward the information. and we had to travel another 21 miles because of you guys. Why did you guys promise something when you couldn’t keep it. We paid for it in advance too so I don’t understand why you guys did these things. This is just messed up and we are never using your website ever again for booking you guys are the worst!
