I love staying here. Big clean rooms with a large daily breakfast and a happy/social hour on the weekends.
My only gripe is that you can't turn off balcony light and even with the blackout drapes it still shines through on the edges.

No way to turn off a really bright light on the balcony. The light was so bright it hurts your eyes if you looked directly at it. Made sitting on the balcony at night unbearable.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was bright and clean. There is plenty of parking. I was really there just to sleep. Some louder freeway noise if you are on the west side. There were a few drawers that would not close under the tv, but nothing deterred the quality of the room or the great staff.

We have stayed at the Amanzi several times. Love the location close to Main Street. Eating dinner at theLure is always a treat.
Our only complaint is that the shower/bath didn't work well. Also, tub took forever to drain.

Beautiful place even though across the street from the ocean and a little bit block by the train track structure. We got room facing the ocean after asking the nice lady to switch it for us. The train that crossing few times is the entertainment for us and kids. Room is nice comfy and clean. Breakfast and afternoon snack provided are amazing.

Stayed to be close to the ferry to Santa Rosa. The beds were comfy, and the breakfast buffet was nice, with lots of choices. We had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was within walking distance from the beach and Ventura Theater. The breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, waffles, fruit, sausage, and bacon. The place is clean; the rooms are large. The staff was friendly.

Stayed there for the Seaside Highland Games and everything about the hotel was amazing!! The rooms are spacious and quiet! The breakfast buffet was great. Convenient parking! The entire hotel experience was great. We stayed somewhere else (across the way) last year and this place was far better and more reasonable. Will be back next year!!!!

This hotel was a great location. It is right next to a train and freeway but nothing that woke us up. Actually, my son loved looking at the trains go by. It was a short walk to downtown and the pier. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. We would stay again.

Safe, walking distance to the beach and downtown. Nice free breakfast. For a quieter room, ask for one on the parking lot side. The other side faces train tracks.

Pool and spa area was good, continental breakfast and Happy hr was nice. Carpet in rooms were not the cleanest, bathroom sink trap had a very strong smell. Hotel was close to a lot of different city activities such as botanical gardens downtown, great pizza place Tony’s Pizzaria a cute tiki bar and Rubicon theater. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place with nice amenities this is a a good spot. Minus the little room details. Staff was nice too!

It was my first time staying and it was a wonderful experience. The front desk agent was amazing he was a sweetheart and allowed us to use the pool after pool hours which was fantastic because it was a warm night. Room way very large with a gorgeous view. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with a wide variety. Will definitely be back.

The hotel itself is fine. The balconies are badly designed, and the freeway is between you and Ventura pier and the beach. It is extremely noisy.

busy weekend no Ice on floors, when asked front desk sorry no ice, I walked over to kitchen ask attendant he stated on break cant help you. But around the corner there is a ice machine that works. Staff needs more customer service training.

Our stay was very good, excellent staff, easy check in, clean room. Snacks at 5pm and breakfast was great! One thing i would like to share is that pool wasnt clean, water was cloudy with debris.
