During our stay we found that the staff was excellent, the room was large and breakfast was nicely done with a large variety of food. However, the hotel itself was not in the best shape. We had dead bugs in the extremely dim overhead bathroom light, the vent fan hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the edges of the carpet were frayed. The elevator was finicky and liked to get stuck on the 4th floor, as well as having buttons that didn’t always work when you pressed them. Our room was on the 5th floor which made using the elevator an adventure. Lastly, the fire alarm in the lobby went off twice while we were there. The fire department came each time and had to check the building room by room. No smoke was detected and no one was evacuated from the hotel during this time. The staff didn’t seem very concerned. Perhaps it happens often????

It would be nice if you can hire people who speak and understand english. I had such a problem with a number of your employees who couldn't understand english when I was speaking to them. Very frustrating!!

Missing a microwave, pool was way too cold and unusable, but otherwise very nice and comfortable stay.

The stay was just fine. I did not have much time at the hotel to fully give it a 5 star or a 1 star. It was a place to sleep.

i have stayed in this before but this stay was a disaster. Bedding was not cleaned , upon my complain i was given another room ,and 02 nd rooms same too. Pillow cases had hair and dirty . so within same night i had to move in three different rooms.

Overall not horrible but had a bad customer experience trying to get early check in. Called the day prior and was told must call day of arrival. When we called while on our way about 3 hours from the hotel we were told we have to be on property which makes no sense if theyre unable to accommodate. Pool was so cold it was unusable and gym had zero cleaning supplies or towels. Our last day the towels were there. Room was nice and no concerns outside of this, breakfast was typical hotel food and coffee.

Typical Hyatt Place hotel, nice rooms with plenty of space. Not too noisy despite being just under the flight path to o’Hare. Breakfast staff seemed pretty overwhelmed, out of coffee despite reminders so had to stop at a cafe instead. Other than that it was fine.

Easy check in. Great breakfast. Rooms were big, clean and accommodated my family easily.
Only complaint is the pool. They dont run the filters so its dormant water. Very skeevy.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff greeted me friendly. The room was clean and had ample of spaces. Parking was easy and the surrounding was very quiet. Breakfast was also good. Nearly nothing to complain about. Will stay at this hotel again when I visit that area.

Overall very nice. Didn’t clean. The room everyday and the bathroom had a slight odor like it wasn’t cleaned with a clean rag. The shower needs some grippy pads on the tub floor. Safety hazard when the soap goes on the. Bottom of the floor. Overall not bad for the price.

The room was dirty the beds and linens were cheap and old. Housekeeping didn't go to my room and I had to call for towels multiple times. There were boogers on the wall and the room was so dusty that I sneezed every minute I was in that room. The hallways were not well kept wallpaper peeling off of the wall. Worst hotel I've stayed at in this area and I travel here often.

AC unit started beeping at 1:30 am. We couldn't sleep. Staff offered to move us to a quieter room at 2 am but we would have to move everything out at that time. New room had one double bed and uncomfortable sofa bed but I originally had 2 double beds. Not happy😠

It was a quiet stay which is great. Check in/out was very easy and employees helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was really good. I was a little concerned with cleanliness of our room. The surfaces were really dusty as were the bedside stands. I know that isn’t such a bad thing, it just made me wonder what else wasn’t clean that I could t see.

Pros;
The room was relatively clean few minor missed details but nothing horrible. My kids LOVED watching all the airplanes flying over but is pretty quiet hotel for the area. They do not tolerate loud guests or partying which is awesome for traveling families. The hotel felt safe for the most part. We did have to request more towels and blankets which they responded pretty quickly.
Cons;
The pool was a bit dirty and freezing cold. They ran out of clean towels at the pool. Shower doesn't drain. The phone in the room didn't work. Breakfast was lacking. There were trash bins overflowing around the elevators, the elevator was a bit nerve-wracking. Definitely could use some maintenance.
