Great stay for a couple of days. The hotel building is not our normal style but the gardens were beautiful. Spa area was separate to the main gardens but we did not have much time for this, you do need to book ahead. Breakfast buffet was okay with a good selection but some more healthy - low fat options would have been good. The staff did try to find us healthier options but it would have been easier if they were more readily available ie skimmed milk. What made the hotel special was the staff, all were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Whilst all were very good, Laura on the front desk and Omar in the lobby were exceptional. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who likes great service with a smile.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Botánico Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and the staff were absolutely amazing the entire time. When we arrived, the front desk staff were very helpful and Antonio (I believe was his name) showed us to our room. Once in the room, he explained several things about the room which was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the space we would call home for the next few days. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional our entire stay. We were able to call and easily get an iron, taxi etc. The attention to detail in the room was superb. We especially enjoyed the pillow menu options and turn down service. The breakfast was outstanding and a lovely way to start the day. We utilized the spa area with a couples massage and played tennis.  I love fresh flowers and the fresh rose in the bathroom was a wonderful touch. We dined at The Oriental and II Pappagallo which were both delicious. The live music each night was a fun treat for a wind down at the end of the evening.  Hotel Botanico is a true Luxury Hotel and I thank the entire staff for making our trip to Tenerife so wonderful.

Definitely 5 star hotel, staff was fantastic, it was the perfect location for our base. Plus we enjoyed the Spa facilities.

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff . A couple of km walk downhill into town. It is a big hill back which was ok for us to walk but you may need a taxi which apparently are cheap. The spa is lovely but might need a little work doing on the spa rooms.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was a sea view, and had a lovely balcony. Rooms are slightly dated, but the beds were super comfortable. A couple if things which could be improved - the safe wasn't big enough for a laptop, the shower was very small, there was no airer for wet swimming things - minor points. We used the spa each day, which was lovely - extensive facilities and quiet. The hotel is quite a way from the main areas of Puerto de la Cruz, and up a hill. We found it ok to walk down, and took a taxi for 5€ coming back. Would definitely recommend and return

Excellent! I can’t fault Hotel Botanico for anything. Beautiful and well-maintained gardens. The spa is wonderful and included in the price. Live entertainment at night. I can’t ask for anything more. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book at least one night in Hotel Botanico
