This is located about a 15-20 minute safe and easy walk from the city center / St Stephen’s. It’s a 4 minute walk to the Prater and the transportation center. The walk is safe at night. The street is quiet. Staff are wonderful! The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast eggs, sausage bacon yogurt fruit cheeses meats pastries breads jams espresso tea and all sorts of delicious offerings. There is a bar. The hotel is very clean!

It was a bit further from the 'touristy' section than I had expected, once I familiarised myself with the metro-system it was accessible enough - not that I was asked to show my travel pass once while travelling on metro or tram. There were several places within walking distances for eating, and tbh the nearby Vapiano was a god-send after a few nights of 40/50 euro meals (and as a solo traveller believe me I hadn't gone wild eating and drinking!!). There wasn't free water in the room which was a bit odd for a four-star hotel, although there was water at the bar downstairs, but when you are thirsty in the middle of the night and on the 5th floor that isn't a quick fix. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really really excellent. My problem was being bitten the minute I entered the room and finding a beastie walking on the chair in the room - 5 cities, 5 hotels this was the only time it happened and I end up with 7 bites by the morning. I am a bit sceptical about 'sustainability' and how much not cleaning rooms is an excuse to save money for hotels..who knows...

The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Cannot complain about a single thing. I had an amazing experience.

Very nice people working at this hotel

The hotel was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable with 2 spacious bathrooms in are room. The only issue the CO2 neutral A/C had difficulty in keeping the room cool. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the morning breakfast was well put together.

Great spot, very central and easy to walk or get metro. Only small item would be nice to have thicker curtains to fully blackout light, otherwise was friendly, helpful and great breakfast

Clean and nice room, spacious toilet and easy access to public transport. Only thing is we find the pillows are too soft. Otherwise would recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast ,very comfortable bed,the hotel was spotless.Very guiet at night no traffic noise just the sound of birds singing.The hotel is very conveniently located-,less than 5 mins walk to 2 stations and Stephanplatz is only 2 stops on the U1(5-6 mins).Very close to Prater park and it's Ferris wheel and amusements.

On top of the very convenient location, the breakfast is of the first class! Also, the staff members are very friendly and helpful about any questions, with perfect English.

We have made the Wilhelmshof our "go to" spot in Vienna. It is on a quiet street near the Prater which makes transportation into the center very easy. The staff is great and always helpful. The rooms are pleasant to stay in. The outside garden is a bonus in nice weather.

A very nicely appointed hotel (used to be a residential building). Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and linens. Artwork! A working fridge! Everyone in the hotel is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast has met and exceeded all our expectations! A must visit cozy place in a convenient location.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Nice quiet room with good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location for direct train from the airport and close to centrum. Only minus was the glass door to the bathroom. There’s no privacy with something like that if you’re staying more then one person

We loved this hotel! We will be back when visiting Vienna again. First of all the staff was so accommodating - we were able to store our luggage here while traveling to Poland. We returned late in the evening and the staff was so helpful. Ted even came up to assist us with operating the TV. The rooms are clean, and the bed so comfortable the best sleep we had while in Austria/Poland. The hotel is easy from the subway, and easy to get around to all the tourist spots. Breakfast was bountiful each morning. We had drinks at the bar one evening and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere from our whirlwind day. I really can't say enough about this hotel.

The hotel room was super clean and large. The breakfast was amazing and they had a great hot wine in the evening. It’s near from the public transportation. The staff was great and helpful.

Property itself was lovely and well maintained. Room was incredibly hot and we had to open windows and turn off heating completely despite it being zero degrees outside. Had an issue with bedding which never got resolved so had terrible 2 nights sleep. Super king size bed with only 2 single duvets. Requested a large duvet to fit bed properly, told not available, so housekeeping just put a large single sheet across bed with a blanket, and neither fitted bed properly so feet stick out the end and got wrapped around. Complained again and requested a king size duvet, and we were told not available from laundry so they made bed up with 2 overlapping sheets this time, which still was not appropriate and awful sleep. Complained to manager on checking out who did not seem to understand problem and unsympathetic for poor sleep due to inadequate bedding and no compensation offered. Disappointing outcome to an otherwise very good hotel in excellent location to transport routes.

The hotel is cozy,quiet,beautiful,the staff is more than helpful and very friendly.Is a very very clean hotel with place to leave your lugage and enjoy a tea cup if u arrive early or u have a late departure.Easy to work your way around the city using Metro station found at 250 meters walk from the hotel.

Hotel was in great location,staff were friendly and helpful 5 minutes from transport hub,giving easy access to all of Vienna The famous Vienna Wheel was just behind the hub in Prater Park

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We recommend Der Whilhemshof wholeheartedly! It was our 1st time visiting Vienna and this hotel exceeded exemplary standards. The staff was always smiling and welcoming, providing toiletries when requested, rooms were exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, bar service was great and we love that they are a sustainable hotel. Additionally, we love that each floor had a different artwork design. The breakfast was also a plus! So delicious and refreshing. Der Whilhemshof made our stay in Vienna a memorable one. We stayed at other hotels in Prague and Budapest - NOTHING compares to the customer service of the hotel here. Thank you again. We can't wait to visit again.
