Total luxury. A beautiful oasis in the middle of Salamanca. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The room was fantastic with high standards on all facilities. We found breakfast and dinner exceptional in taste and service. One of our best nights away and we travel a lot.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights on the way to the UK from southern Spain. Lovely old building and very well maintained. The reception staff were very nice and helpful and gave us a map on arrival pointing out all the attractions. The hotel is very central and 7 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor.
The hotel does have outside (no cover) car parking. Spaces are limited but this is managed well by the hotel staff to ensure space is maximised.
The only negative is the pool area. There was a serious lack of sun loungers and a lot of them were damaged and in need of replacing. For a five star hotel this was very disappointing. The pool also needed some maintenance work.

Friendly reception staff and cleaners but was appalled by the 55 euro charge for ad hoc breakfasts up from 22 euros in advance. As we are a coffee only couple re breakfast we had to order from reception and the service was slow. The hotel was beautiful and historic and conveniently located but the swimming pool was out of action and whilst the restaurant was fair it was not exceptional. We stayed for four nights and the hotel appeared to have a private party with music disturbing our sleep past midnight

A hotel in a beautiful historic building. Fantastic staff. The surrounding town is gorgeous. Perfect for a few days stay or travelling through en route to and from UK. Also dog friendly which we really appreciate.

Stunning former convent in the very picturesque old town of Salamanca. Service and breakfast were excellent. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint is that we were charged €31 for breakfast when the Hotels.com reservation said the breakfast was included. We had left the hotel before I realised this. That said, I would certainly recommend it and return.

This hotel is really unique: it’s in an old, old monastery. The location is perfect for walks to the sights and to the plaza mayor.
We opted for the buffet breakfast, which is a great value. The restaurant is in the basement, but has a gorgeous patio. The service and food were very high quality.

Wow probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. So helpful and even made sure to charge our electric car overnight so we had plenty of charge for the onward journey. Super comfortable beds, lovely rooms. And the whole place smelt amazing!

A beautiful building in a great spot in the old town where we had a lovely room overlooking the cathedral. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful friendly and professional. We had a wonderful experience all round thoroughly enjoying the tasting menu for dinner which we felt was good value and of excellent quality. Room spacious and comfortable breakfast excellent tasty choices. Catered for gluten free. Would highly recommend this hotel

What an amazing hotel to stay in. From arrival in the car park to leaving the service and welcome was impeccable. Facilities were excellent as was the meal in the Munje restaurant. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer,
