Super central. Small rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking spot. Breakfast is really good.

Arrived in Pisa for one night on a trip Around Tuscany. I didn’t arrive until 11pm and walked from train station which took around 10mins. I was travelling solo and it was no problem. Reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok and staff were not very cheerful or helpful but it may have been they didn’t understand my accent! 😄 would recommend for short visit to Pisa

Beautifully ornate hotel in the heart of Pisa. Tons to do in the area. Room is a perfect comparison to the architecture and atmosphere of the city.

The staff at the hotel are lovely and it is in a very convenient central location. There is also transport to the airport provided (for a fee). The bar is open late and breakfast was tasty. The room we stayed in was nice, the bed was a bit hard and shower pressure was good but the temperature was inconsistent. Overall it was a good stay.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station - 15 minutes pulling a medium size suitcase over cobblestones. We needed easy access to our train to Vernazza. The staff was very nice. Our room was up a couple flights of stairs and we got help with our luggage. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was just ok. But breakfast the next morning (included) was fabulous - pastery, fruit, juice, breads, eggs, etc. and a variety of coffee's. We had planned to stay two nights but our plane from Heathrow was delayed so we didn't make it the first night. Hotel Bologna's policy is to charge you for both nights. So buy the insurance- luckily we did! I would say overall it was a good place to stay.

This hotel was just okay. The people at the front desk were especially helpful in the morning but not as much in the evening. The air conditioner in the room never worked very well and sleeping in the heat was tough. It was nice that they offer a free shuttle to the airport/train station, though.

Very friendly staff, good continental breakfast, lovely fresh fruit. Good location, 10 min walk from train station, couple of minutes from main shopping street, 20 minutes from Pisa tower.

Loved the staff and the breakfast but the air con was quite poor.

The bathroom shower room is so so so small.

Perfectly located, quiet, comfortable hotel. 20 minute walk from the leaning tower, 10 minute walk from the central station, a shuttle to the airport is available for 10 euros or you can walk which takes only 30 minutes. If I was to return to Pisa, I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and accommodating staff! The hotel has a lovely breakfast included. The shuttle has to be reserved and costs 15€. Location is great, quick walk from train station, nice beautiful 15 walk from Pisa tower. 6 min taxi to airport. However, if I were to stay here, I would probably do it in cooler temperatures. It was very hot while we were there and the AC in the room was not great at all. So if you like to sleep cold, don’t stay here in summer- choose cooler temperature months.

Very nice staff. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Close to shopping area and supermarket for food and snacks. Walking to tower of Pisa also not too far, quite an enjoyable walk. 5 min from train station was perfect.

In comparison to the rating on your site this hotel did not live up to our expectations especially the very disappointing breakfast.

The Hotel Bologna is a stunningly beautiful hotel! Italy reveres beauty, and this is abundantly clear here, where paintings in the lobby and especially in the breakfast room are so amazing and add so much to the ambiance and atmosphere! The staff is first class! As an American, I am taken with how incredibly professional and amazing Italian hotel staff are (especially compared to their American counterparts). EVERYTHING the staff do is to help those staying there to have a fantastic time. They are the best! We stayed in Pisa during a heatwave and yet didn’t feel the heat at all inside this air-conditioned hotel! The breakfast was THE best we had while in Italy (and we had amazing breakfasts!). Everything imaginable is available here and all delicious!

The picture of the single room on the website of the hotel was very different than what I was offered; a tiny dark box like with little window near the ceiling and smelling moldy - had to check out after 20 minutes as it was impossible to stay in that room - all the prepaid money wasted!

Great spot for a one night stay before we flew out of Pisa! Close to the river and bridge to get into the main areas. Quick easy walk to the train station and people mover!

Lovely situation, comfortable and clean rooms, great breakfast.

Sadly, the walls were incredibly thin. We had an early flight and we couldn't sleep for even a few minutes. Every movement anyone made in another room, we could hear it all. The shower, the tap, the talking - we didn't get to sleep at all. The staff were friendly and the hotel was nice, bar the room & thin walls.

Hotel is in a great position to explore Pisa, everything is in walking distance and all transport options are close by

The staff was AMAZING!!!

Hotel was very nice, had a great breakfast. We left early and the packed us a nice breakfast to go. The front desk staff were so helpful! The only thing I would say is the the air did not work well in our room. Made for a warm room.
