Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Park Royal has alot going for it and you can see they are working on bringing it back to it's former glory. The staff from front desk, to the restaurant staff beach and Italian, the trolley drivers, etc.. all so hard working and always quick to smile and greet you. There were ones that shone brightly like the girls at front desk Shunashi, Paulina, Paula and Patricia (just loved them). All the staff at the Italian restaurant so professional but kind and quick to get you whatever needed... fantastic team. The servers at the beach restaurant like Karla, Alam (not sure on spelling) were amazing the rest were great as well. Bartender Adrian at the 7th floor pool... amazing!! Friendly, quick to serve, got it right any time we ordered and went around taking care of everyone! The drivers of the trolleys we didn't take often but they always asked and were quick to wave and greet us when driving by if we were walking. I hope that Park Royal takes a moment to recognize their staff in Huatulco! They are truly amazing and so hardworking. For that very reason we would come back for them! The room was huge and deck was massive... the only things we would love to have had were some patio furniture to enjoy the deck. And if the kitchenette had a mini fridge that would have been perfect! The food at the Italian Restaurant was wonderful... the servers and manager were exceptional!! You felt pampered every time you went! Beach restaurant was also good... huge assortment of food staff amazing!

What I did not like was the food at the buffet was cold. Also you need a golf car to take you from your room to the pool, to the beach to the front desk. Basically anywhere, they need to put that in their description. That was a bit of an inconvenience.

The hotel was nice but if you have any issues with walking this place is not for you. My kids and I found ourselves walking up and down from the seventh floor almost every time. Also, we are a vegan family and there wasn’t many options for lunch and dinner. The waiter and chef was kind enough to prepare us pasta but that was pretty much all they made us. They have an Italian restaurant and they stated in their menu that they have a vegan option but when I asked they said oh it has cheese. When I asked if they can remove it the waitress said no. If anything the people working in the buffet were friendlier than the people working in the Italian restaurant. Would I come back? Most likely not! Not unless they fix their menu and have more vegan options and an elevator perhaps I can come back as for now I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Is good if you just want to relax and just be in the resort.

This resort is absolutely spectacular. Although the water is a little bit rough on some days, when it was calm enough to go swimming, it was absolutely spectacular. Please be careful, as the waves can creep up on you, and I ended up losing my hat and my sunglasses when a huge wave hit me. I absolutely love the workers in this resort. From the cleaning staff, the waiters, the people helping out by the beach, as well as the men driving the golf carts, everybody was absolutely wonderful. They truly want to make sure everybody has a great experience, and you could not ask for a better people Of special note, I would like to acknowledge Wilberth, Caleb, Leticia, and Edy for always making sure that we enjoyed our experiences each time they were serving us. Definitely be in some type of good shape as the resort is quite huge, and you off and will be using the stairs. We stayed in room 632, and the view was absolutely spectacular. We were completely blown away when we arrived in our room, to see this view every day. The balcony is also huge, and was so relaxing to just read a book when we wanted to get away from the other guests. Please note, that many of the workers do not speak English, so I was speaking Spanish the entire time. This is not an issue, as there were other English-speaking guests, and everything went very smoothly with them. I highly recommend!

All inclusive

The beach under the palapas was never really picked up, the carts were slower than normal. The food was sorry to say…terrible. Some items that should have been hot were barely warm, items that did not move were recycled the next meal/day. The reservation restaurant was out of things from a very small menu every night. I realize that covid has made things very difficult for the AI industry but these properties need to straighten up or they will lose customers….like me.

No free mini-bar as advertised - you want it, $450 pesos. The upscale restaurant was mediocre at best: lost our reservation, gave me the wrong order (and argued about it: ordered fish and they gave me inedible beef!!), checked here order sheet and miracle of miracles the fish (barely edible) appeared! Not impressed with their attitude towards customer service - this was the only food area like that, all the rest were good to excellent! We were told by the front end staff that a free shuttle to the airport was available. Turns out she lied. No shuttle - never was, never will be. Sour taste for the end of the stay.

Love everything about it. Just receptionist wasnt the nices person, zero customers service.

The property has nice views. I rented a deluxe suite and the AC did not work during my whole stay. I asked for some compensation, but I did not receive anything.

Amenities were pretty poor. Only 1 restaurant, and one buffet. The buffet was pretty disappointing. Food quality was poor. We've been to plenty of all inclusive and this was the worst. Food was pretty much slop. Also hot food was extremely cold for being held in a steam table. For being an all inclusive resort, charging for waters in your room and to have your mini fridge filled was also disappointing. I would recommend not staying here unless you are budgeting a vacation.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel, very family friendly all around. The hotel staff went beyond with their customer service for my family, the hotel also offers many accommodations for everyone especially young children. Overall great place to stay at when you visit Huatulco!

Horrible el trato del personal si llegas tarde no te pueden transportar tienes que caminar las camas estan super duras la comida pesima yo tuve que dejar el hotel un dia antes y agarrar otro hotel yo no lo recomiendo para nada es mejor pagar un poco mas por calidad

Everything about this classic resort is spectacular. We especially liked the the live Vegas type shows every evening at dinner. The meals and drinks provided by several different restaurants on site were all delicious and there were always healthy options. The staff from start to finish were friendly and helpful. The response to every “thank you” was “para servirle.” BTW, this is a great place to practice your Spanish because no one tries to speak English to you like the more touristy places that most North American tourist go to. This is one of those hidden gems that is mostly known to the Mexican nationals, and it is truly spectacular.

Not a good experience. Resort is run down. While there, they ran out of alcohol, food, and the towels at the pool are very old. Hotel rooms are located a block away from the beach and they must give you a ride in a little golf cart, such an inconvenience. Last day of our trip, they cut down on cars to bring us down from the hotel rooms and we had to bring our luggage from the 10th floor all the way down the hill to the lobby because the front desk would not answer the phone to request a car. We arrived late to airport due to this. Advised the front desk of our bad experience and they didn’t seem to care since we were checking out. Not worth spending your money on this hotel.

The property was great as well as service throughout. The beds could be more comfortable as well as the climate in the rooms. Got pretty warm
