We liked our stay in Actons. Nice harbour view rooms. Compliments to house keeping. Food in the bar was good, the lighing was too bright which stole the ambiance otherwise all good. Good breakfast. Worth noting that vegan options around town in restaurants were very bad but Actons have a limited vegan menu, but at least they have one and it is good.

I was fortunate enough to get a room here. It was far more luxurious than what I had paid for. At one point I ordered room service and they forgot to ask for my room number. When I called back later they apologized profusely and then comped the meal. They didn’t have to do that. The care for the customer is top notch

We had a wonderful stay at Acton’s , the room was superb. The staff were amazing , very welcoming and so willing to assist with everything. We will be back.

Kinsale is a very beautiful town and it is a bit on the pricey side because of its “foodie capital of Ireland” reputation. With that said, Actons Hotel is overall lovely. My issue was that on the night we stayed there was a wedding (maybe two) and the wedding crowd partied until about 5am, moving in and out of rooms, socializing in the halls, and being very loud. Repeated attempts were made to get them and/or the front desk to put an end to it, but it never happened. Quite a shame because this is a nice hotel. But for the price we paid to get no sleep is really unacceptable.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful view across to the boat harbor. Excellent breakfast including eggs to order, friendly and helpful staff. Walk to all the interesting shops and restaurants.

The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The staff was great, the breakfast was delicious, and the large parking lot was super convenient. Plenty of restaurants/pubs within a 5-min walk.

Checked in at 4pm and booked room was not ready. So at least they upgraded us. Weren’t overly friendly. Room was nice. Good location for eating out and close to shops.

What a wonderful clean comfortable hotel. We had a view of the harbour that was amazing to wake up to. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone was really helpful…cannot say enough good things about it.

I've been to Ireland many times, my mom was from Kinsale and we visit her family. I've always wanted to stay at the Actons Hotel, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay, great food and drink at Sidney's Pub, amazing breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Our room was so nice with floor to ceiling window with view of harbor. Walk to downtown area so quickly. Staff were the nicest hotel staff I've ever met, very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend Actons Hotel in Kinsale.

Amazing hotel in walking distance to city. Very comfortable rooms with amazing showers. We had a water view room that included a Nespresso machine and kettle. Breakfast in the morning was great and they have both a buffet style and menu. Overall great hotel and I would highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel was easy to find, there was parking available on site, we utilized the leisure/pool area and the hotel was easy walking distance to the downtown area. The staff allowed us to leave the car for a few hours past checkout to give us more time to sightsee. Breakfast was excellent and the bed very comfortable.

Elevator not working so walked up and down 3 double flights to 3rd floor. Received no compensation for this inconvenience.

Great property. Rooms were beautiful and updated. Excellent location. Only issue was the elevator was out of service, but they brought our bags up 3 floors for us. Wonderful breakfast too.

The property is walking distance to the town and the room had an old fashioned feel but with modern amenities. I would stay here again and can't think of anything i didn't like.

Actons Hotel was very welcoming, stylish & clean. Our bedroom has incredible with views over the water & decor was calm & beautiful.
Kinsale however has become built up & there were insufficient bins around the town with overflowing rubbish of an evening.

We asked for twin beds with a water view and that’s what we got. Everything was clean. They have a lift for those who can’t do stairs. Breakfast was fantastic.
