Very old interior, but in good condition.
No breakfast available , so quite stiff price. Very good location.

Very quick check in on an extremely hot day arrived early an hour early as advertised check at 1pm to be told 3pm happy to leave my luggage and go out to explore
I checked struggled to get up the first flight of stairs narrow stair case to be greeted by a young male, he was just there doing his job and that was it
My room was clean bed ok but the room looked nothing like the photo of the room I booked lucky I’m just 5foot but still had to bed over to make a cup of tea same I’m the bathroom no room to move around in the shower get in and stand still If you are a large tall person this room is not for you
As for the hotel I really wouldn’t call it a hotel it was more like renting a room I saw nobody once I was given my keys one for my room and one for the front door it was rather unusual, my room was cleaned each day while I was out
Overall it’s a budget accommodation you get what you pay for a clean room and bed

What a lovely place to stay, excellent location great staff.

We had a nice stay at the Locanda Antico Fiore. It was conveniently located; very close to the Sant Angelo water bus stop. It was also walking distance (under 1KM) to St. Mark's Square.
Room/suite was dated, but clean and big enough for the 4 of us. Breakfast in the AM was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Agreed by phone for a late check-in , and was received by a ghost reception , having no indications on how to check in other than the front door code. No one was at the hotel and didnt answer any phone calls. Had to call hotels.com for a solution

Liked location. Bed was comfortable.
Mosquitos, shower too small.
No lounging area.
Fixtures/accessories were surprisingly darted.
Plastic flowers.
Potential accessibility challenges with steep, and narrow stairs with “low” headroom.
Could not understand why client could nor iron.

The room was perfect. Very Italian and sweet. The staff was super friendly at any problem. And it is in the middle of the city. I would return any time.

Nice and clean room, kind staff, quiet area, convenient for your stay. The only thing, the shower is a bit small for big people. Good choice anyway.

A little hard to find. Had to take bus twice because Expedia directions didn’t give water bus stop station to get off at. But that was Expedia’s fault not hotel. Cost an extra 24 Euro’s. Also Expedia should have noticed bus passes are available which would make the Venetian experience better for travelers on a budget

The location was great- convenient to major sights. But I have problems with a room condition i.e. bad room air, insects biting me during the night.

An intimate and friendly hotel, situated near the campo Santo Stefano and the vaporetto stop of San Angelo on the Grand Canal. Just be prepared for the massive breakfast!

La signora was amazing. Warm Italian hospitality. Great breakfast. Grazie

Was more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. We were not informed of a charge for bringing our luggage up very steep stairs in the hotel. They even wanted to charge us more to take the luggage downstairs after we checked out. So we did it ourselves. It was difficult rolling our bags over cobble stones over a block and a half, and up and down a set of stairs, just to get there. They also charged us a local tax which we were not informed of, until after two days of staying there. Very old, cramped conditions especially the shower stall. The front of the building was very unassuming and had no signs. Fortunately, we hired a private guide and shuttle service to get us there or we would never have found it. We expected more for paying around $200 per night and would gladly pay more, next time, to stay at another nicer place.

We stayed here whilst visiting Venice for 3 days. The hotel is ideally located near to the water bus stop and central to the sights and attractions, Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and ideal for a short break when youre out and about all day.Staff were pleasant and helpful and we would stay here again.

This is a very small (5 rooms) hotel which is located in an excellent location. Other than that the bathroom and shower are very small ending up with water all over the floor when you shower. The T. V in the room didn't work and if you are carrying luggage get ready to climb 3 flights of narrow stairs with your bags.

First trip to Venice so I decided to stay central to the San Marco area. This place is a good compromise between having a great location and paying a high price. It's pretty close to the water taxi stop at St. Angelo so that's a plus. It's run by very nice people and they offer breakfast included each morning, although I never woke up early enough to try it. This place is quite old inside and the decor is a little gaudy but they keep it really clean. Has a small fridge you can store you drinks in the room but it didn't get very cold. Went during the summer so it was hot outside, AC in the room was very welcome.
This place is about a 7 minute walk to St. Marks and all the other touristy areas but far away enough that you're not overrun by tourists. They have wifi but it is so slow it's almost unusable.

Very warm welcome and great location. Unit is very small, no living area just 2 bedrooms, tiny bathroom and compact kitchenette. Air conditioner worked for a few minutes and turned to heat. Opened windows which was nice but lots of foot traffic outside of window and mosquitoes were a problem. If you don't plan on being in the room much it's ok. Nice restaurants in the area.

Staff were nice, clean room, and close to main boat stop (important when hauling luggage up and down stairs/walkways). No lift in hotel, which wasn't a problem for me but the stairs were VERY steep so could be issue for some and not easy with luggage (although staff helped). My room at very top floor was under sloping roof, minor inconvenience as not in the room a lot but not great if you are tallish. Despite this I thought it was nice, had character, well located and quiet.

Solid place. A little off the beaten path, but that made it quiet. Staff was great.

Perfect location, very easy to walk to all the main attractions. Canal right outside our window so we spent ages watching the boats. Hotel is quirky and very Venetian and when we asked for breakfast we were told no we couldn't have it! As cafes were only a short stroll away this wasn't a problem.

We loved our hostess Lia! She was very sweet and very accommodating. The guest house was in a nice location and very clean. Nothing fancy. The simple decor was old world Italian and very charming. We had trouble getting good wi-fi, but that could be the case in general in Venice, not sure. The steps up to the guest house can be troublesome if you are elderly or not in good shape. Overall experience was very good and I would recommend staying here.

The hotel was nice but a little hard to find at first, with a/c really necesary, clean private bathroom and for the european standards very spacious, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions

A lovely hotel, the manager very friendly.. We had a few problems with the air condition, found the room we were allocated very noisey with early morning deliveries but overall excellent service and fantastic location

Oye, where to begin: We wanted a "Venetian" feeling hotel and this hotel definitely had all the decor to fit the bill. The problem was it wasn't a real "hotel". There was rarely an attendant/employee at the front desk and we had no way of getting in touch with someone if needed. At all! The phone even went unanswered! And when we found someone the NEXT day, there was almost never someone who spoke passable English. (In the 3 employees we spent time with, only 1 spoke conversational English and she was the person who had the least interaction with the guests.)
It's definitely an awkward B&B - our room was located directly next to the dining room - so even if we wanted to sleep in, they started serving breakfast at 8am literally 4 feet from us. The locking system for the doors were very awkward (double door, never explained how to use) - and we'd often exit hitting someone sitting directly in front of our door.
Overall the rooms themselves were decent - we had a spacious suite (worth the extra money) and clean. A/c good, but the wifi was unprotected (anyone can log on; no password needed) which can be worrisome. The breakfast was decent - but they never prepared enough food, so who ever ate last got the crumbs, so to speak.
The real issue we had: we wanted to arrange a tour to a Murano factory we had previously purchased from. In the past, other hotel concierges arrange a private transfer to & from the Island for a tour and purchasing time. What happened with us you may a

Power plugs protruding from the walls- had to bring it to owner's attention due to safety issues..
Steep stairs we had trouble climbing up with all the luggage.
Note: (they have notice saying they encourage guests to re use their towels) . Ask for new one if u want it changed.
It was bit noisy due to poor sound proof and rooms are very close to each other.

Other than being a little difficult to find (which is common in Venice), the hotel was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. They sent an e-mail asking for an approximate arrival time so that someone was available at check-in. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent and plenty of food. The only down side is the lack of an elevator.

Was a tiny tiny room, in a really hidden location. Didn't like anything about this hotel. The bathroom was ridiculously small and very uncomfortable for four people to stay in. Not what I was expecting.

Much better what you see online than the reality. 4 out of 8 light were not working, shower in poor conditions, owner friendly but other staff disappointing.
For the price you pay, even in Venice, you'll surely be able to find better options.
Venice is beautiful !!
