The hotel is in urgent need of a full renovation and deep clean. The cleanliness overall was appalling. The grime beside the bed in between the mattress and bed side table was so bad we decided to sleep on the sleeper couch in the lounge. There was also loud construction work right next to our lounge window for hours on end.

The apartment was large and had a spa, but it was quite old and run down.

Very tired and showing a distinct lack of maintenance. Living room windows are coming away from their mounts creating gaps that let in a lot of noise from the streets below and allow the AC to vent.
The room is not suitable for people with any sort of mobility issues lots of slippery surfaces and you need to use stairs to get into or out of the shower which is over a spa bath.
Street noise due to the ill fitting windows is very loud and the traffic noise is very distinct.
We were on level 7 but it was more like a ground floor street side room it was that bad. It was ok for the single night but we should have paid the $35 a night more and stayed across the road at the Circle as friends did and had a great nights sleep

Property was tired and filthy. The room stunk of cigarette smoke and when the fan was on thick black dust flew off it onto the bed sheets.

Tiki Hotel is in a fabulous location. Supermarket, shops a two minute walk. Beach was seven minute walk away. We had a first floor balcony room. The balcony was tiny and easily accessible from people passing by to go to the pool. My daughter had a 5th floor room and the view was amazing.
Hotel is old and didn’t alway feel safe. Windows on first floor didn’t lock.
Hotel is noisy. Can hear people using the shower and pipes rattling .
Overall it was cheap accommodation. We would stay again, but not in the balcony room.

Everything was good for the price. Great location and very convenient to get around from the hotel. The cleanliness around the main entrance could have been a bit better. Overall was a good experience.

It was ok for a budget hotel need extra cleaner that is thorough though. Loud area of course due to being in the city centre but spa was nice in our room and an awesome view fully equipped kitchen not that we cooked but it had everything u needed. Needs more cleaning around pool area and laundry though as dirty lazy tenants leave things like used nappies and band aides around the pool. Use need to reopen a restaurant and bar.

Great location not far from the centre of surfers. The room was very spacious and had everything we required. The room was reasonably clean but did have some mould in shower and on roof throughout apartment and cobwebs with dead spiders in them .

Convenient supermarket close by. Beautiful view from room. A bit noisy from traffic especially Friday and Saturday nights. Lounge was very dirty. Room could do with a deep clean.

Clean, comfortable, rooms are a good size, kitchen with full sized fridge very useful. Bathroom dated but works as a bathroom should. Staff helpful and remembered my son from our last trip. The views are the best for me. Will stay there again when next on the GC.

We where so disappointed in this property I new it was not top end but it was run down and smelt musty we where meant to be there for 4 night but checked out after 1 beds where uncomfortable furniture was old and musty.
I had to book us in to another accommodation so I lost my money and had to pay the extra for new sleeping arrangements worked out to be a very expensive weekend.

Look, for less than $50 per person, per night you can’t expect much. The staff are lovely, the rooms are really clean. But the property is very old and very dated. Other guests can be very noisy too, seems popular as a cheap bed for night clubbers. Central location but also noisy due to location.

Well located and some great views from the room. Would recommend parking there as it is tricky for visitors to find parking nearby. We booked for 5 people and while it wasnt clear from the photos online we assumed there was enough bedding. It turned out to be a single room apartment with a single sofa bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge room. We only found out the double sofa became a bed in the morning (no instructions or comms). Our daughter slept in the window sill. There wasnt enough blankets so we ran the a/c all night.

It was a nice place to stay with beautiful view. Staff was friendly and property was nice and clean.

The staff were prompt to assist with restocking our dish washing powder, bin liners, toilet paper and assist with Wi-Fi connectivity. The room had a beautiful view of the river and was a short walking distance to groceries, transport and Surfers Paradise beach. The only downside was the noise from the traffic below during the evenings. Other than that our family of 5 had a wonderful stay.

Very outdated a in desperate need of repairs. Examples include non functioning Air-conditioner, interior door and security latch on main entrance. During our stay we had 3 occasions when cockroaches we found. The room configurations are confusing and the bathroom/spa/shower combo is like something you would see in a porn film in the 70's. The rest of the room looked like a diy handyman had come through to band-aid what they could.
Property would be good for schoolies looking to party with accommodation coming second, would not recommend for families or anyone that wants a good nights rest.

The best thing about this place is the area around it, it is walking distance to the beach and has many reasturants around. I feel this place can have better hygiene.

Great location and good views from our room. We would definitely return in future. Gold Coast traffic did not make it quick to get to, Someone had taken the tv remote batteries and some wear and tear but all good - staff were great.

This is an older style motel and unfortunately needs a good upgrade. There is only 1 aircon to cool/heat the entire unit, there were lights not working and those that did work, the lighting was terrible. We found that this motel was very noisy, again, being an older style motel. We stayed for 2 nights and on return to our room after being out in the morning, our door was open, assuming the cleaners had been and realised we were not vacating so they left our room as it was and did not close the door after themselves. This motel only supplied 2 very thin blankets, if you get cold, bring your own doona or blanket! The beds are uncomfortable and small. Again, older style. All in all, with this motel, you get what you pay for, it’s not flash, but is ok for a quick stopover, definitely wouldn’t recommend for a holiday apartment.

I booked for the adults and a child and the bed for the child wasn’t made up. The shower door wouldn’t close. Disappointed for the price. Very noisey. Hard to sleep.
