One of our favourite hotels on this trip. Loved the old world feel and comfort downstairs. Would have preferred a fridge and the air con was not fantastic but still a favourite hotel

The location is exremely convenient, close to subway and trams. But, the room was hot and their AC did not work well. There were bits of paint chipped off the door.

Half a block from the train station where you can also catch a direct train to the airport. Metro stop with 3 different lines two blocks away. Lot's of restaurants half a block away. The place is clean, convenient located a few blocks from the historic Alexander Platz. Some of the front desk staff were very helpful and willing to answer questions related to transportation, etc. Others had an attitude and had no idea how to help. Customer service training will be helpful.

The stuff at the reception is very rude, errant and unprofessional. Hotel is located in good location, clean. But I have never seen this kind of attitude from the receptionist in my life.

The rooftop bar should have longer hours and serve pretzels! Bretzel The chairs and cushions should be set up earlier so that guests like me could sit there do do my writing work. But all over it is a very good hotel at a great location! Very easy to get there directly from the airport by train - The RE 8 to Ost Bahnhof there you change to the S7 to Hachescher Markt. But be very sure you pay the correct fare. You will need a one-way adult ABC ticket. Then validate it in the red machines on the platform. If you don't it will cost you 60 Euros or more!

Overall its a great experience

We received a warm welcome at reception. Our room was on the 3rd floor, street side with a lovely view and a large full window opening out onto the street. The room had a lovely view of the local locality. Even though the trams run directly below (great for local transport), you could not hear these with the window closed. But isn’t that part of the city vibe and ambience. The shower was great and everything was well appointed, clean and tidy. Great hanging and storage space. A jug and cups were available by request from reception. The property offers a great bar and lounge room and on the roof a wonderful roof top bar and sun area. There are many food options around and shopping. Well worth the stay! We would certainly stay again.

Fantastic location, and even more fantastic staff. Really friendly and accomodating. My room was fantastic. I had been a little nervous as I'm a light sleeper and had read reviews saying that the trams are noisy. Despite my room being on the first floor, very close to the trams I didn't hear a thing. Highly recommend the hotel

The hotel was so cute with great clean rooms and a nice rooftop bar. We breakfast was basic European breakfast but all tasty. We would definitely stay here again

Room was clean and facilities were as expected. It’s worth noting the train tracks are nearby and a couple of restaurants across the road but the double glazed windows and a/c mitigated this issue for me. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was fantastic - super convenient without being in the thick of it.

Small room, but truly all I needed. The walls may need to be touched up/painted, but there is nothing wrong with this place! Great location for museum island and so many surrounding adventures!

I love this hotel like a close friend with faults. It excels in the areas most important to me: the bed is super comfortable, the staff is very nice, the location is superb, and the breakfast is fabulous. The two areas where the hotel could improve are the room furnishings and the air conditioning. I stayed in two rooms over two weeks, and in both cases the chairs looked worn and a bit tired, especially compared to the fantastic appearance of the public areas. Also the faded legs needed a good polish. (The elevator floor also needs some love). Except for ON and OFF, the air conditioning controls didn’t work at all and took the temp down to 16 Celsius. That was quite cold. All in all, I look forward to being back.

Comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Close to a lot of fantastic places to eat and drink. Lovely rooftop bar and the staff were helpful and fantastic. Will definitely book again next time I’m in Berlin.

I loved this hotel and would stay there any time I am in Berlin.

They let me check in early, no questions asked. They provided me with a charger because I had forgotten mine. Very nice property, astonishingly quiet. A bit of a maze to get to my room. I will be back there!!

Absolutely confortabile and fascinating hotel

Excellently located hotel with fantastic transport links, with the Hackescher Markt literally next door. The staff were very attentive & helped to solve an issue I was having with my room safe within minutes. I’ll be using this hotel again in future!

Great location, overall vibe was perfect - cozy without being dated, modern with soft touches that made the place current without trying too hard like other hotels. They have a rooftop bar and a lobby bar, both of which were great, staff at reception was welcoming and efficient. Would stay here again if we find ourselves in Berlin and would highly recommend.
