Close to M1, good stopping off point. Rooms were clean and good, felt like the country with a view over fields. Staff usually attentive. Good value for money. Would have like cereal at breakfast as well as cooked food.

It was a pleasant stay , staff were very helpful, food and drink selection was great .improvement should be done on the maintenance of bathroom shower and drain. we will stay there again

Property was very clean and well stock for tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to park and very quiet even with the pub near by.

Our stay at the Carrington Arms was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was very good with excellent food and service. Definitely recommend both the hotel and restaurant

Apart from a gas lorry turning up at 6.30 am leaving the engine running for 20mins and filling the room with fumes we had to get up and shut the window. Everything else was excellent especially the night time meal possibly the best steak we have eaten.

I didn't dislike anything. Good welcome, simple check in, room perfect, wi-fi good, bathroom good. Sadly I can't comment on the pub/restaurant as I didn't dine but the breakfast was good.

Superb.....so clean so well equiprd, even had a micro fridge.Bedfing & bathroom first class. Best of its type ( accomadtoon block adjacent to pub ) I have evet stayed in. Very high standard of finish & siper comfy befs too.

The property was perfect for what we wanted ,nice and quiet and relaxing , beautiful pub serving good breakfast and amazing steak , will definatley visit again

Another good stay here. Clean rooms, nice food. Only issue was no desk lamp so lighting in room a bit subdued for working in the evening. Other than that all great.

Slightly off the beaten track, but easy to reach and well worth it. Room very good value as a last minute deal. Bed/bedding sublimely comfortable and clean, and that’s my priority. Good wi-fi. Quiet. Food: good/excellent. Lovely dining areas. Lovely staff. We had a really enjoyable stay and would return if in the area.

Stayed at The Carrington Arms on numerous occasions and the accommodation is clean comfortable and good value for money. What’s not good value for money is the Restaurant and drinks service. They have a steak menu that’s charged by the once, you’re are invited to choose your cut of steak and it is butchered in front of you then weighed and you are offered other items to accompany your choice. The catch is that you’re not given a price when selecting your choice. I’m not sure if £44.85 for a 12/13 once Sirloin and £6.95 for the trimmings is fair. With this in mind be sure to validate the price of the steak before you order. Also the drinks are overpriced. Next time I will eat elsewhere.

Our stay at The Carrington was ace, we had a room around the back with a view of the lovely countryside. The staff were all very pleasant, we will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We had a double bed room and had all the amenities included. The radiator was brilliant as it was cold in the night. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the young man who helped us out with the Taxi number saving us from having to use Uber which increased prices

Spotlessly clean, quality bed and everything you could need.

The property was nice, but not fridge in the room, this is not appropriate for staying for 2 or 3days, also there was no fan, maybe in winter it’s fine but in this hot weather it’s not good too much heat.

We were very impressed with the hotel, the room, the pie for dinner, the staff, and the added bonus of the luxury car service which took us to and collected us from, late at night, a wedding in a nearby village. Would definitely recommend. Free parking too.

It was a nice place to be a guest, staff were very helpful and everything was fine.

The rooms were modern, very clean, there was a fancy coffee machine, a hair dryer, enough space for clothes. The only fault would be the end of the bed, if anyone was over 5'10, their feet would be on soild bed frame at the end of the bed. Other wise i rate this place a 10 out of 10

What a great place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quick checking in and the rooms were very clean and spacious.. We booked a table for dinner and the food was delicious as was the breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend the hotel.

We have stayed at the Carrington Arms several times and it was as good as ever ! We enjoyed sitting outside our room looking out over the surrounding coutryside. The room was serviced daily to a very high standard.

Fantastic venue and accommodation was superb. Restaurant at the pub is absolutely fantastic too.
