Just about everything 🙂 location, fire place, bath, view
Just amazing and has everything you need.
The only thing that was a bit different was the pillows. They were quite firm.

The view was truly incredible, I’ve never had such a luxurious bath before! The home was clean and had everything we needed.

Wohl eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in ganz Neuseeland! Ein geräumiges Cabin mit einer großen Terrasse umgeben von einer liebevoll angelegten Vegetation. Das Badezimmer sowie das Wohn-/Schlafzimmer sind wirklich riesig. Die Küche bietet alles für die Selbstverpflegung. Und man hat alles an Ausstattung, was man sich wünscht: einen Ofen für die kühleren Abende, Sitzsäcke, Bademäntel in zwei Ausführungen, Hausschuhe, kuschelige Decken, eine Badewanne mit Blick ins Tal durch die bodentiefen Fenster inkl. Schiebetür und ein Barbecue Grill.
Und an die Biotoilette gewöhnt man sich. Nachhaltigkeit hat ihren Preis 😉

We cooked our own food and everything we needed for that was available. We loved the privacy and the whole space was just so comfortable I could have stayed for a week!

Great quiet luxury cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days. Just relax with a drink in the impressive bath tub and listen to all the different birds in the surrounding native trees, or sit in front of the log fire without a worry in the world. It has everything you need, and more. Amazing hosts, 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

The hosts were excellent and provided all the information required for our stay. The view was amazing and overall a very enjoyable experience.
The compost toilet took us awhile to get used to.

A very helpful host. Place was very clean and having the fire place in winter made it very cosy. It had a great view out towards lake Taupo.
The neighbour was doing a bit of earthworks with some machinery but the disturbance was minor.

loved the location being no where near a town. the cabin hhaa everything you need. bath tub is huge and so is the shower space. is a very clean space with a good fire for the winter months
toilets a long drop. all though there’s a constant fan I’d rather not have to look down there while urinating. double glazed windows are big and beautiful and keep it warm but the take away the reception from inside. nothing major though

What a stunning place to stay. If you're going to Lake Taupo, treat yourselves and book it. Serene, stylish, utterly relaxing. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay an absolute pleasure. The views from every angle are breathtaking.
