Location was close to Haad Rin and size of hostel was very big, and lots of interactive evenings for guests The hosts were also helpful.

Was unprepared to see how openly recreational plants were used here and on the island, but this appeared the norm and part of the culture. For non- smokers like me, this was not always deal.

Location is good, dorms and bathroom was clean and nice! Food was good too and reasonable price.

Beds have spring cushion and it’s not nice for back especially if you had a long tiring day!

Awesome communal area overlooking a lagoon. Excellent food, cheap drinks and smoke, and comfy rooms. Couldn't ask for much more! Short walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores.

-comfortable common areas, very cosy and welcoming -tv and game console -chill place by a lake -towels were provided -there was shower gel and shampoo provided -mini fridge, safe in the room and I think I saw a big fridge at the entrance of the hostel

-there was hair on the bathroom floor from the guests from before us -not the hostel's fault, but there were very few people (being low season and ~10 days after the full moon party)

aircon in dorms all day relaxing and clean common area by the pond nice looking dorms free body paint was great fun

stayed during full moon but felt it wasn’t sociable during the day. in the evening when everyone was drinking, I still felt a bit uncomfortable as a solo traveller. I felt people had got a bit cliquey, wouldn’t continue conversations I started. there were definitely some nice people, but the overall vibe I didn’t feel that welcome/comfortable. later into my stay after full moon I started visiting wet hostel nearby which had a super friendly welcoming atmosphere which I was looking for. I’m not really sure what drives this in different hostels. maybe this hostel attracts more friend groups, I’m not sure. if you are here just for full moon and like drinking I’m sure you will like it. if you want to socialise a bit more and there is no one around I recommend visiting wet hostel to meet people (although they might be hungover so give it some time)

good location friendly staff was very quiet when we was there which I personally liked

the owners are friendly and super accommodating. the hostel itself has a laid back fun vibe

the neon light stays on all night and it lights up the big dorm room so it never gets fully dark

Location is great - 5 minutes walk to all the action and just far enough to get a good night sleep. Common areas are the best part of the hostel - for working, resting or communicating you can find a suitable place inside.

Room consisted only of bed - a really huge and comfortable one, but there was no place for me to put my luggage or clothes. Also a towel wasn't provided, so I used my own and ended up forgetting it in the room at checkout. But the staff helped me and I managed to get my towel back.

Really good hostel, stayed in a 4 bed dorm was clean and comfy. Really liked the social space with the bean bags overlooking the water. Location is great for full moon

Really social hostel with a great atmosphere for the jungle + full moon parties! Location was only a few mins walk from Haad Rin beach which was very handy. Really liked all the different places to sit in the common areas (especially the beanbags!).

The 8 bed dorm was a bit of a squeeze with all our bags and no storage lockers for them.

Love the large communal area with small nooks and hideaways for a bit of privacy. The blankets were nice and warm for some cold nights. Staff was friendly always willing to help.

Loud music until late even on quiet nights; pretty standard for social hostels. Only 2 toilets for a lot of bunkbeds. Staff worked hard to keep them clean but backpackers can be messy and smelly 🥲. Only thing I can really recommend is to convert one of the showers into another toilet.

Nice vibe, very welcoming and friendly staff

I had a very nice stay at the Hideout hostel. The hostel has a nice atmosphere, located next to a lake. It is also close to the beach, but away from the noise. The room was nice and there was plenty of space to put my backpack. I also liked that the room had his own bathroom. It was also very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Awesome staff and good vibes :)! I was here outside of the Full Moon dates and I still met plenty of backpackers. The hostel is chill during the day & social at night. There’s plenty of common space to read, chat, etc. There’s free water and a table for paint! ;) I left with a handful of new memories and friends xx Thank you!!

one of my best stays in thailand... had a amazing time here and rooms are really good. Owner and staff are really nice.. Beaches are close by ... cant ask for more

Very social and clean! The place is run by a gorgeous family who are so helpful and kind! great location only 2 min walk from the beach! Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more, great showers, very clean beds and towels, lots of different hangout spaces, hostel bar!

Very kind and attentive owner, calm (and quiet!) place in a hectic party area, perfect for affordable and leisurely stay while being close to the action

Very clean property, rooms, public area and dthe showers. The owner was very helpful and always there. The beds have real matrasses and real blankets. I wanted to stay only one night, but at the end extended my stay for 4 nights.
