The owner was a fantastic communicator and set the apartment up beautifully for our arrival. There were little touches like fruit and a bottle of wine on arrival, and the fridge stocked with essentials like milk. The apartment is huge and very comfortable, in a great location.

Everything was superb. We had a couple of issues with the toilet not flushing but was an easy fix.

I booked through booking.com and assumed I would just collect keys from reception on arrival as with every other apartment I’ve ever booked through this platform. The day before arrival I received an email with instructions of where to collect a key. I don’t use air bnb as I dislike having to pick up keys from other locations so I found it a little misleading that I wasn’t made aware of this arrangement until the day before check in. The key was to collected from a convenience store closer to surfers paradise. It was busy and Parking was an issue here and I had to pay to park while I ran in to collect the key. Then I had to drive to the apartment building. Thankfully I hired a car as i don’t know what I would have done had I caught public transport from the airport and it would’ve added to a taxi fare having to detour for the key. If this had of been made clear prior to booking that I had to collect a key from somewhere else I wouldn’t have booked the apartment as it was inconvenient. The key issue didn’t stop here. It got worse. I was instructed to collect the fob of which there was only 1. This fob was very unreliable and I was very concerned one night arriving back at 11pm that we couldn’t get in as it took so many swipes for it to work. I texted the host the next morning but did not receive a text back until late in the day. In the meantime the gentleman on reception helped me and spent about 2 hours on it trying to get it to work. Finally I heard back from the host who told me there was also a white card in the key safe that apparently works better than the fob but she apologised for not instructing me to take the card too. She only mentioned the fob and I didn’t even notice the card in the key safe. As a show of goodwill she offered me late check out of midday but I couldn’t stay anyway as we had a flight. On the morning of check out the fob completely stopped working again. It caused a lot of inconvenience and annoyance.

We stay at the Gold Coast on a monthly basis, this is the first time an apartment offered so much amenities beyond service 💯. The apartment was spacious and super duper CLEAN a very homely feeling, which is what we loved the most. Host Zoe was amazing and very prompt with replying to queries and also very precise. A nice quite stay away from the busy hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise. The beach is literally a 20m walk from the apartment, so convenient catering to a young family. Loved our stay, if you like living in a fresh and clean atmosphere, a place that offers more than what you’d expect, than this is the place for you. We will definitely be back 💯

Only small feature was the mattress’s were uncomfortable, but we still managed to get heaps of sleep.
