Very strategic location. Walking distance to Shinsaibashisuji and Dotonbori. Easily find food. Room are spacious for 3paxs with a tv area

There was a lot of construction on the road in front the area, however getting to the hotel wasn’t a problem. It is right across from the Namba station. The hotel must have had a major renovation because once inside, everything looks nice and new. They provide free breakfast and there is a huge kitchen and serving area in the basement. Very nice.

Standard business style hotel. Small rooms (common in Japan) but very clean and well serviced. Breakfast was okay, if rather basic and institutional (like university accomm) Friendly staff. Good location for transport and nightlife.

There were a lot of noise in night of another visitors.

The location is very convenient. The room size is big enough for 3 of us. The staffs are good as well. However, the water in the dispenser water is always run out.

The breakfast was very healthy with many protein options, excellent choice of beverages, very pleasant dining room.

Check in was fast and easy, if you're staying more then 4 days you are required to go out as there is room cleaning. Breakfast was nice room and toilet was clean. Wouldn't mind staying here again.

It was a three night stay. The location is good, close to all the busy surroundings that attract tourists including us. The train station is just opposite. Checking in and out was quick and easy. We enjoyed the time there.

The hotel and staff are great but the pillows and beds are horrible, trust me you will see.

the hotel provides a spacious room for japan standards, comfortably fitting two carry-ons and two large suitcases, its location is excellent, just a few minutes from dotonbori. the air conditioning works well, and the hotel is quiet, either due to considerate guests or the design of the building. odd that there is no electrical outlet on one side of the bed, which may be inconvenient with two people in the room. the bed is firm with a thin mattress, and the pillow is filled with buckwheat seeds, which might take some getting used to, but i was comfortable with both. my bad, i booked through hotels.com and didn't realize i booked a smoking room. they were unable to change our room and the staff were uncomfortable and awkward when they had to say no. the breakfast is better than in many north american budget chain hotels, offering a japanese-style spread with a good mix of carbs, veggies, protein, and soup. the staff were efficient and polite. the bathroom has an interesting shower setup that starts from the sink, with separate controls for the hand shower and the overhead shower. water pressure is good, and, as expected in japan, the bidet is always a highlight. laundry is convenient, with several washers (·300) and dryers (·100 for 12 minutes), and you can check their status from your room. there are vending machines and a microwave in the lobby for extra convenience. housekeeping is only available every fourth day, but fresh towels are provided in the meantime.

The staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but it smelled a bit like sewage, which probably came up through the drains. I kept the plugs in and put towels over the floor, but I could not get rid of it. The dining hall was uninviting, with food to match. Except for the lovely staff, it was one of my worst hotel breakfast experiences.

A nice hotel though the 4pm strict check in was too strict. Everyone uses the lift at 4pm and is just terrible customer service if the rooms can be ready before.

Great location at Namba just next to the metro station and walking distance to the train stations. Good service. We had a good room with more space then our Toyoko hotel before in Hiroshima. Breakfast is until 9 am so it’s really very busy in the weekend if you don’t get up early. Check out is 10am. Compare to other hotels of our trip both the breakfast and check out time are earlier.

1. Excellent location. Namba and Dotonbori are very close, just minutes on foot. 2. The single room is tiny. Keep that in mind. 3. The locker is a great feature. 4. They keep everything very clean. 5. The staff are very good. 6. They don't have daily housekeeping.

Very small room but nice and clean

Located neat Namba station,this was a convenient place to stay. Lots of places to eat at Namba Walk, Lawson's on the corner downstairs. A few blocks away Dontonbori. Buffet breakfast was excellent - traditional Japanese breakfast. Lots of drink vending machines in the lobby. Plenty of space for lockable luggage storage. Amenities (toothbrush, comb, razor, shower cap, cotton buds, soap, face cream and cleanser) were all provided. Easy to check in and check out.

very reasonable price with quality service

Toyoka Inn has it going on for economy travel. The particular location I stayed was new, very clean, everything on point. Very efficient, good for frequent travellers. Beds a little hard but the inn has everything one needs. Pajamas, slippers in the rooms, all amenities from toothbrushes to razors and face care sets--free! As an American a hotel giving me free toothbrush razor whole little skincare set is so nice. Super clean telling everyone to stay here

Very clean ! Best for its price !

Had a lovely stay, unfortunately there was a miscommunication with having the room cleaned and so it wasn’t done on the day it was supposed to be. The room was able to be cleaned the following day. Great location, close by Namba Station. Very walkable. Close to tons of shopping and restaurants. Have already stayed here twice and already booked here again for my next visit to Osaka.

Breakfast buffet was varied & delicious. Hotel is a 5min walk to Namba station

Great location, steps away from the Subway

Convenient location and very clean facilities with friendly/helpful staff. Included breakfast and luggage storage was a nice touch too. Only downsides were the bed and pillows were very firm and the bathrooms had no locks. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

It was convenient to dotonburi and many restaurants and shopping.
