If you want a beautiful, quiet, clean hotel on the beach, you cannot get any better than Plus Fariones Suite Hotel. The suites are spacious. Rooms cleaned everyday. Hotel has a restful ambiance and is very quiet given the number of residents. Staff were very friendly and answered all our queries knowledgeably.

Room was lovely and spacious , walk in shower , bathrobes and slippers. Lounge area with TV and channels in various languages including the main English channels. Fabulous choice at breakfast and very clean and new throughout the hotel.

4 star hotel. Very nice although no aircon in the hotel outside your room, so corridors/reception very warm. Nice looking hotel. Room was lovely, very clean. Sea view as booked. I enjoyed our stay however its unfinished. Very noisy as work going on. I was told noise from 10-6. The noise started 9-sometimes till 7.30. I dont nap through the day but i think people need to be warned of this. My husband asked where the gym was and it doesnt exist.. room was full of bugs, most likely from the work. The breakfast delicious, lots of choice, however the service was awful, moved from two tables we were sat as someone was already sitting in them. Then no cutlery and waiters just not paying attention, sat for ages waiting and breakfast went cold. Entertainment was good but service again awful, confusion seemed to reign and there was no organisation, we sat for ages and my husband had to go to the bar for drinks. Loads of waiters but lacking direction. This happened 3 times during our stay. Maid service good but, one morning I returned from breakfast and wished to use the toilet and the maid told me to come back, I understand she has a job todo but I have a condition, she didnt understand and was adamant she was finishing the room, I did wait but think if the customer wants in the room they should respect that and leave. The hotel lovely but so many issues. We stayed in a 4 star 5 days before this one with no issues.

The staff were very friendly and the pool area was lovely. Also very easy access to the beach from the pool.

Nice hotel lovely location, great views very clean. What i did not like no window in bedrooms throughout hotel exvept for a few suites. We upgraded to one 30euro per night definately worth it. Also no air conditioning on in hotel we were informed until April, as it was unseasonally hot bit stuffy at night. Would def stay again but only in Suite. Right on beach right by shops old town beach etc great location.

It’s corridors felt like a multi storey carpark, unsightly and dark. The hotel room was dark and small with no natural light and very dim bulbs, it was impossible to get ready in there and the darkness of the room gave me a head ache. The smell of cigarettes came through into our bedroom from either next door or below us so we couldn’t sleep in there with our 10 month old baby. We instead slept on the floor of the living area. The steps into the living area felt dangerous for our baby. The hotel has been refurbished but I would say to a very poor quality compared to the photos online. We were very disappointed upon our arrival after paying for a suite. The breakfast was poor also. The staff were friendly but the hotel itself was a let down. It’s only good point was the location.

Excellent so close to swimming pool and beach. Supermarket on property. We on lst floor so that was fab. Couldn't fault anything.

Room was very nice and clean. Some of the staff at the reception and the dining room were quite abrupt. Clearly they had priorities that didn’t not involve the guests queries and were quite happy you should wait until they were good and ready to acknowledge you. Not all were of course but enough do that that is what I remember. At the rate you pay I think you can expect a little courtesy. Breakfast was really nice and a wonderful selection.

The room was good,although the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared not to work. Spacious suite wth lovely bathroom and comfortable bed.Good separate living area. Nice balcony,let down by cheap metal table and uncomfortable chairs. Restaurant served standard buffet food for both breakfast and dinner.Unless cooked while you waited,most of the hot food under the heat lamps was generally lukewarm! Tables very close together and more especially at breakfast,people were getting in each other’s way. It would help if the restaurant staff smiled a bit more! The area around the pool again could be busy and it was the same old story of people getting there early and putting their towels on the sunloungers,and then hardly using them! In a hotel leaflet,it said that staff would remove towels if the sunloungers weren’t being used,but as usual,nothing was ever done. The location to the beach and the town is great. We weren’t affected by the building work on the hotel next door,but I gather that if your room was that side of the hotel,you might be. The internet connection at the hotel was awful.It was totally hit and miss wether it was working.I think we reported the problem at least three times but it was potluck as to when it worked. We ended up going to local bars etc just to use their WiFi. Drinks at the hotel are reasonably priced,but there is a lot of competition from bars/restaurants within close proximity Overall though,an overpriced hotel!Will not stay again!

Good facilities, good pool areas, right on the beach and in perfect location. A great stay all round.

Staff in general very helpful, would have given better marks but for one member of staff. You need to be early to find sun beds with sun brollies ( reasonable amount of brollies).

The room is confortable and big. The food of the buffet is delicious. The hotel is quiet. We enjoy our vacation, it was great

Every aspect of the hotel was 1st class, rooms, pool, breakfast, staff and the location. We would recommend this hotel and certainly stay there again.

Area around hotel is a little run-down and building operations don’t help. Hotel staff are as helpful as ever and as repeat guests for many years we were warmly welcomed. Thanks to all for a lovely holiday, as always at the Fariomerlogin Playa

Comfortable and clean great location. Be aware major building works on hotel until at least April, noise levels not intrusive, but could change. Staff cheerful and helpful.

Hotel has a great location right on the beach. Positioned between the Old Town and the strip.Rooms are good with separate bedroom. We were staying next to the building work and it did impact on the enjoyment of time in the room, but you do get a 75 euro bonus to use as the hotel because of the inconvenience. The breakfast and lunchtime pool menus were both very good. Ate out for dinner. My tip would be stay on the side away from the work,and make sure you are ready to put a towel on a poolside lounger by 8am. Point for improvement would be the courtesy room arrangement. The manager should think about the instructions given at reception. The signage and ensuring that the lights or on, I am sure its fine during the day but if you are leaving in the evening it's pretty haphazard. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would go back staff throughout the hotel were always pleasant and helpful.

What can I say is other than WOW. We booked this resort for a good break away because it was right on the beach front which suited me for mobility issues and love of open water swimming. From the moment we checked in to leaving eight days later we could find nothing to complain about. The pool area is great and relaxing with a lovely poolside bar. The larger swimming pool had good dept for underwater swimming as well as length for lap training. The buffet breakfast was great and provided for all tastes as well as the attached supermarket. The hotels closeness to the promenade, small sheltered beaches, scuba diving centres and the shopping was ideal too. Met many guests who constantly return to the same resort shows just how goo it is. Having the Kats outside roaming around was lovely too. The accessible room met all my needs because Aidan uses both crutches and a wheelchair to get around. Finally to say that we would highly recommend this resort that we will be back soon for a short break.

Dining room staff, excellent. Bedroom cleaners, excellent. Front desk staff, unhelpful and rude.

Bit of noise from the refurbishment next door of the fariones hotel and this is likely to continue for the next 12 months, otherwise a great stay

On checking in to our room we overlooked a large construction site and asked for a change of room which the hotel accommodated as there were a few spare rooms. Plenty of sun loungers, food very good in buffet and pool bar. Good location with several excellent restaurants nearby as well as the usual 'sports bars' which we avoided. Unfortunately we had to cut short our holiday by a week and when we informed reception the duty manageress authorised a refund for seven days costs..... this was not expected but has warmed us to this hotel and we will stay there again in the future.

DO NOT GO THERE! Expedia has been given only the right wing which is in front of a building site. Noise is incredible and there is NO sea view (despite what they say...!)

There is very little negative you can say about hotel. It has an ample size pool with enough beds for everyone, a gate opens to the beach making it easy to enjoy this too. The rooms are spacious and all look out to the sea. Although slightly removed from the hotel it also has tennis courts, gym and indoor pool with sauna and Jacuzzi.

A very nice hotel, very clean, good breakfast, good location close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. Two main downsides were the building site next door which our rooms overlooked and which could sometimes be heard from the pool area, and the temperature of the pools. To avoid the first issue, insist on rooms overlooking the pool. These have a pleasant view and would be less affected by noise from the building site and also less noise from the entertainment in the bar in the evening which carried up four floors. The hotel do say that one of the pools is heated, and it is, but only to 24-25 degrees which in February is just not quite enough for comfort. A better solution is to go to the sports centre up the road which as residents you can use the excellent gym and much warmer pool for free. It also has a pleasant seating area and bar. But beware late afternoon as it is mostly used for swimming lessons. Another minor gripe was that the nice bar was taken up by the entertainment from 8.30pm. Which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but a shame if you don't as there is no other option. This sounds more negative than it felt, as we had a really nice holiday despite all this and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room layout with the seating area and kitchenette was also good. So I would go back, but probably in a year or so when the drilling has stopped.

There was no air conditioning "because it was winter"! Still 23 degrees in the day. Bedroom windows opened onto the corridors, which were cooler, but noisy, especially as we were near reception. No fan or ventilation in the bathroom. Pool not tried as way too cold.

We booked a room with an ocean view as we both had special birthdays during our stay and we were very satisfied with our room. It was a lovely surprise to receive a bottle of bubbly and cakes on our birthdays.

The hotel was very good. However, the room that we were originally assigned faced directly onto a building site. It was one of the nearest rooms to the site and there was a continuous cloud of dust and noisy machinery. We went back to reception and were informed that this was one of the rooms reserved by Expedia. However, they indicated that they had been a cancellation for another room and assigned us a new room at the other side of the hotel.

The Suite Hotel Fariones Playa is basically a nice hotel. However, the holiday as published (and purchased) did not mention that approximately 50% of the suites are in serious need of refurbishment - notably, those which are sea-facing and adjacent to the Farionas Playa hotel that is undergoing demolition/reconstruction. The hotel also has a second major demolition/construction site situated across the road on its North Eastern side. Although the works didn't impact too much on our holiday, this was only because we spend most of the time out exploring and visiting other parts of the island. Had we been planning to spend our 11 days 'relaxing' on the balcony or in the swimming pools we would have had a moajor issue with the noise and dust (dust suppression amounted to one labourer occasionally wetting down (pathetically) with a single hose pipe that didn't even have an adjustable spray head. Very disappointing Expedia, we probably won't be using your services again...

Stayed B&B for a week in January 2017. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were professional and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with a huge choice. Highly recommended.
