The hotel is nice clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is about 5 minutes walk unless you can find parking in the street.

Excellent location right in the heart of the old town. the hotel has been recently completely renovated and all our rooms were very spacious and well furnished. the lack of a car park within the premises is a bit of an annoyance tough.

Old, stuffy... water not hot enough for a shower... Apparently the hotel is closing down, there are signs posted by employees outside...

Padova is great, this was not a good hotel. Sorry to say.

Dated, drab decor. Poor service.....only one English speaking staff member on reception.......the others just stared at us with blank expression. Booked a suite for extra room space. Suite had plenty of space but furnishings were not comfortable at all and the hard as rocks bed made it difficult to sleep. Bathroom hair dryer overheated every 5 seconds and shower flooded bathroom every time we used it. There were protest signs (in Italian) stuck on the building and when we asked what they meant we were told that they were trying to save the hotel from impending demolition. Demolish it I say.......it's time !!! The whole hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though we had a non smoking room. Air conditioning was old, noisy and useless. Poor wifi connectivity,,,,,,,,poor all round really. Would not recommend this hotel.

Very sad experience in PADOVA, the staff of this hotel is very rude.

This hotel is better avoided. No Ac was working, no toiletries and now teas or coffees. Old bed and even older interiors. Needs an immediate repaint. Very poor breakfast spread. The staff was very accommodating.

Stayed at this hotel 4 years previously but standards have dropped a bit and the hotel looks in need of freshening up with new carpeting and painting etc.

Rooms facing the street can not be slept in for the noise. Also ours was very out-dated and worn off. Second room we were given was better but we could hear neighbours clearly. Room was super cold even in May and blanket thin and heating noisy. Breakfast soso. Best was the old piazza a few blocks down. Train station is 25min walk!!!

I was there 2 nights to attend a meeting. The price was good, as part of a flight+hotel deal so I did not begrudge having to pay for breakfast. My only complaint is that the WiFi kept dropping out in my room, and that's annoying if, like me, you like to listen to the radio over the internet during the night.

Nice and clean hotel, feels a tiny little bit outdated, but that only adds to its charm. Perfect location and very friendly staff. Besides there's an absolutely amazing gelateria across the street. We would stay there again.

Very old, not very clean hotel. We ordered Superior room but it was old and dirty from oldness. The most disappointing was the smoking smell in the room. We had to sleep with open windows but it did not help(( it was terrible!!!

The only downside was that the wifi connection was totally hopeless cutting out every 2 minutes, but apart from that no issues

I went to this hotel, thinking that it would be a 4+ venue, but it wasn't. First, they made me pay in advance for my room, something that I had never been exposed to in Italy. Next, the room looked like it needed major refurbishing: the air conditioner was very noisy and the TV remote did not work. Furthermore, the so called breakfast was awful. In simple terms, there was no redeeming value to Hotel Plaza Padova.

Stay somewhere else; front desk was very rude when we checked in & wasn't happy to answer any questions... There was no parking in hotel so we were told to park and pay on the street which meant going out several times to put money in...

Great location, the hotel rooms and hallways are a bit seedy, there is no English speaking cable television. Can't beat the price. I am surprised to see this hotel in the Michelin Guide.

Quality service for the price

Location was great - lots of eating places within walking distance. Service was less than adequate- AC unit out and had to use fan to keep cool, elevator out of service for 3 days, front desk not very friendly.Breakfast was very nice.

I have stayed in many hotels and this was by far the worst. Except for a few staff (George, George's brother and certain chambermaids) staff were not capable to provide even slightly good service. Specific instances of poor service are too many to list here.

We got an old room far from the main building. No Wi-Fi in the room, mini bar empty. Virtually no amenities in the bathroom. Cappuccino and espersso not included in the breakfast. Breakfast quite poor for a 4 star hotel. Cloakroom for luggage must be paid. Emplyees do not care about guests.
