Don’t often use this chain but was very impressed by the high standard and comfort of the room. Will use again

This was a much better Travelodge than others we have stayed in. Staff were helpful. The room had a double and single bed in it, so it was rather cramped, even for two of us. The coffee machine was a bonus. It was quite a walk into town for a hotel named ‘City Centre’.

Rooms were fine, a bit over priced, but clean and acceptable. Parking wasn't guaranteed and neighborhood probably not the best, but stuff to do close by, within 1 mile. Hallways in hotel were creepy and hard to navigate to find room.

I've stayed in travelodge hotels before and been rather disappointed by the lack of recent room and public space renovations. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Nice, comfy room, good bathroom, usable public spaces. I'd especially like to praise their team member Jesus who went to a lot of trouble to fix an electrical socket issue we were having.

Can’t give it a bad review because it is what it is and these hotels aren’t bad. However, when planning a tour of Ireland didn’t factor in that Galway Races were on. Wanted to be in the city as only in town for one night but this hotel was 20 minute walk away - not as close as I’d hoped with a “Galway City” tag. Over €200 for the night, which I thought included breakfast but it didn’t, so that was another €26 for your typical buffet fair. Some ‘supply and demand’ lessons learned for sure. Don’t avoid; just don’t pay silly money like we did.

It was a comfortable stay. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The staff was great — very helpful and friendly.

Outstanding hospitality demonstrated by staff member who checked us in. He gave us recommendations, maps, directions, etc. Needed accommodations with on-site parking but still easily accessible to town centre and this place fit the bill. Room was spacious and clean. Would recommend.

Easy walk to the city center, but far enough away from traffic and the noise. Lovely service and clean, comfortable room. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay outside or guesthouses.

Can't fault this Travelodge.Warm friendly welcome. Comfortable and well equipped room. 15 minute walk to centre of town. Competitive price. Well recommended.

The hotel was very affordable but a little way out of town for anyone relying on public transport. We had to take taxis.

Stayed overnight for a funeral. Comfy bed, great shower, just what we needed. Located on the ring road as well, which helped.

Checkin was slow. Only one person doing check ins.
Breakfast was a bit disorganised. Loads of stuff empty. Always something empty in hot food section. Toaster not able to taost bread which was annoying as the bread was defrosted so not possible to eat without toasting.
Good location 10 mins walk to centre and loads of parking.
